Chapter Text
It was like the world lit up for Kim. When he first saw that smile, he knew that was when he became smitten. It was a regular school day for Kim, running around campus, and coffee was the only thing keeping him awake. He was already annoyed with how his day was going: being late for his first class, forgetting his charging cable in the car, and now his coffee order was made wrong.
Kim swore that this day would get worse and prepared himself to face it. Then in came Porsche, who always seemed to find the joys of life and jumping around his friends. While passing by each other, one thing led to another and there was coffee dripping down Kim’s shirt. Kim was ready to explode on the person, he really was. But the sight in front of him caused him to stop in his tracks.
Porsche took a second to process and once the scene finally registered, he began apologising profusely. His eyes looked like a puppy who was in trouble. Kim folded nearly instantly. Porsche kept apologising and offered to buy him a new cup or to help wash the ruined shirt. That was the very moment he felt all the stress of that day fade away. This adorable gumdrop in front of him is tugging his heartstrings and he was doing little to fight off the pull.
“It’s alright, just some coffee and a shirt. No harm done”, Kim said calmly after he calmed his thoughts. If Kim thought he was smitten before, now he is just down bad. Porsche’s sad look morphed into something that can only be described as a ray of sunshine personified. It took everything in Kim to keep his composure. That smile on his sun-kissed skin looked so perfect.
“Come on Porsche, he said it’s fine. We still got classes to go to.” One of Porsche’s friends called for Porsche while walking to the lecture hall. “But I will treat you to a drink the next time I see you!” Porsche shouts out, apologising once more before he runs after his friends.
Kim smirks as he thinks about the next encounter with Porsche. Now that he got a taste of sunshine, he wouldn’t mind getting a sunburn if he got to see Porsche smile every day. That was when Kim decided that the next logical action was to date him.
Through his ‘research’, Kim discovers that Porsche loves roses. Among the other things he learnt from following Porsche around all day. Well, not Kim per se but an informant. But he was willing to do more to get Porsche.
With the information gathered, target in sight. It was time for Kim to bag himself a boyfriend.
