“Towa! Towa! I’m here! Don’t let go of my hand!”
“Madam! Can you hear me? Ma’am!
“….”
That was the last thing I heard as I gradually lost consciousness.

“Cheer up Suichan! Although you didn’t get 1st place, you still got the same score as me, isn’t that a win for you as well?”
“Well…… of course not! Did you see the trophy you received and the one I received?”
Suichan said while pointing to the two trophies on the display shelf.
“Look at it! Mine is silver! Yours is gold!”
I laughed at her statement. I could tell she was sulking. After all, this was the first time that she lost to me, she knows I won’t let her live it down.
“I want a rematch! Let’s do it right now! Winner gets to take the gold trophy!”
“Eh? That ain’t fair!! Towa earned it so why is it now being wagered without my knowledge?”
“That doesn’t matter! Come here and we’ll settle it once and for all!”
And there we were, playing games like we usually do before bed. The constant laughter and occasional curses filled the room just like any other day.
Few months passed, it was a fun life we had and experienced everyday. This few months led us even closer…. and I may have fallen for Suichan.
Her voice, her presence, was something I cherished and loved. But I won’t tell her… because….
she loves Mikochi.

No different from any other day, the music was stopped before it reached the first verse. It was a sign that Anemachi had woken up, considering she’s the only one in the house that uses Suichan’s music as an alarm. As she entered the living room, I greeted her. “Ah! Good morning Anemachi!” Anemachi, being in her half awake state, briefly smiled and nodded to me, greeting me back.
As Anemachi walked to the kitchen, I heard yawning from elsewhere, so naturally I turned my head, and there was Suichan, in her kanahei pajamas exiting her room. I greeted her the same way as I did with Anemachi. “Ah, good morning Suichan!” “……Good morn….ing Towa….” Suichan replied while yawning.
Both of them doesn’t seem to like mornings, guess they are sisters after all.
As Suichan was walking to the kitchen, she was directed to the sofa by Anemachi instead. Anemachi exited the kitchen and was holding two cups of water. “I poured a cup for you Suichan” “hmm?…. ah thanks… you’re the best sister ever…” As the sisters sat down on the sofa and slowly drank the water to refresh themselves, I remembered something and informed Anemachi,
“Oh right, Anemachi you wouldn’t need to prepare my dinner tonight. I will be having a recording at the studio till late so I’ll be eating dinner with the other members.”Anemachi gave me a thumbs up as she sips on her water.
“Do you need me to drive you home?” Suichan asked.
Hearing Suichan’s suggestion, I considered it, but chose to reject the offer.
“It’s fine, I don’t wanna be a bother. I won’t be drinking so I can most likely drive myself back.”
I want to spend more time with you, but… it’s better not to.
“Well that’ll be fine then, take care and watch out for cars as usual.” Her words were sweet and I could tell she cared. While Suichan may look scary and act like a psychopath, deep down she’s just a kind girl like all the other members. I love her for that, but it’s the best for us if I don’t confess, after all, it’s a one-sided love…

“Please wait outside the operating room Ms Hoshimachi. We’ll do our best to save Ms Tokoyami.”
“I understand. Please try to save her at all costs…”
The doctor nodded and proceeded into the operating room. As the lamp came on, i paced up and down the corridor, waiting.
Please…. Please make it….. I’m sorry….. I should have forced you to make me fetch you back…..
Why am I like this?…
As I sat and stared at the operating room door, i could feel myself crumbling.
The world was spinning around me, the longer I waited the more I felt like I was going to puke.
I have to be dreaming… it’s not possible for this to be happening right now!
My heart was aching, it felt like a part of me had broke. But why? My body was tensing up, goosebumps appeared all over, I could feel my temperature rising, it was higher than when I performed in 3D lives. Every passing second felt like an endless loop, where nothing could be done, and I am just here… staring at the lamp, waiting and waiting.

A few hours passed, and after what felt like an eternity, the lamp went out and the doctor came out of the operating room.
