Tianami idea and headcanon cus why not
Anyways, y’all know how Princess and the Frog came out in 2009 right? So around that time is when Nanami and the older sorcerers were all teens n stuff. Now stay with me- imagine a meet-cute of when Nanami and Tiana were teens! Like the Tokyo students are sent on a mission to New Orleans or whatever; the typical reasoning and whatnot. My whole point of this was rlly to just push the idea of a gothic Nanami and a Boho Tiana together.
Y’all know how Nanami had those bangs when he was a teen? Well I’d take it further and headcanon him as someone who did his eyeliner and listened to Evanescene n shi. For Tiana, I headcanon her as an earthy girl who listened to Erykah Badu and similar artists.
Usually I see gothic and grunge styles be paired with the more colorful ones such as gyaru (I know there are sub styles for it, but just in general) or the more known skater boy x ballet girl schtick with the coquette style, so I thought this would be a good lil change of pace. But yeah, I could just see it being super cute.
Yes he’d still have his pessimism and would be seen as standoffish to others that aren’t Haibara, but I feel Tiana could change that with just her work ethic alone (yes our girl is still hard working in the year 2009 yall 😔). And even though he wouldn’t have as much experience on the importance of knowing when to take a break as he does in the future, I see Nanami still being able to notice the strain Tiana’s putting on herself and wanting to help her out just due to being enamored and fascinated by her. But yuppp, I just wanted to put this out here. Hopefully someone can see the vision!
Oh also, they’d totally share their respective music taste and favorite artists with each other and not fear the other judging them for it.
