Heat of the Moment

Notes:

(See the end of the work for notes.)

Work Text:

Charles never meant to be so bad to him. One thing he said he would never do.

They met by chance, instantly attracted to eachother. Like a gravitational pull, doomed to orbit around one another but not touch.

Carlos' eyes pulled Charles in, defying all laws set and Charles gave in. Their mouths met, incidents arose from circumstance. Fingers grazing the other's body, desperately urging to grasp their deepest desires, forbidden things always tasted better, and Carlos' tasted heavenly. How his body reacted to Charles' touch. It was like holding the sun. Carlos' skin a warm brown that called for Charles' to sink his fangs in, each caress breathing life into him. How his eyes fluttered closed when Charles kissed his neck, Carlos' mouth hanging low.

One thing led to another, love arose. Stolen glances in the paddock, tension so thick it could be cut with a knife. They glowed when their eyes met.

In their room, whispered secrets were shared. Bodies pressed together, sharing warmth. Soft caresses and light kisses were exchanged. Telling Charles what his heart meant.

Carlos could concern himself with bigger things. Charles' bled red while Carlos, slowly, stopped bleeding. Charles caught a black horse and rode it to a red victory.

The heat of the moment showed in Charles' green eyes.

And now he finds himself in 21'. Reminiscing old laughs that loosened his heart strings, Carlos eyes shining and smiling with his head tilted back.

Carlos in his kitchen, wearing Charles' red t-shirt, it looked better on Carlos' than it did on him, anyway. He would let him keep it. Sunlight making Carlos' look so peaceful, like the outside world didn’t concern him, swaying his hips as he hummed songs unsung, baking pancakes for their shared breakfast.

Foolish ambitions, Charles remembers well. He was alone, his trophies showing his many victories, almost mocking him for his solitude. How many nights he had stared at the ceiling waiting for Carlos to join him in bed? What were the things he wanted for himself? One look from Carlos' brown eyes and Charles' would fall from grace.

It was the heat of the moment, it shone in their hearts.

Notes:

Heavily inspired by Heat of the moment by Asia. I love that song. If you want to calculate their gravitational force you can do it by multiplying their masses and G (gravitational constant) and divide it by their distance to the squared power. Thank you Sir Isaac Newton for discovering the universal gravitational law. Comment if you want more of physics! Next class is fluids mechanics!
