Chapter 1: Swim

Chapter Text

A conspicuously bird-themed speedboat sits at the end of a dock at the edge of a nighttime city skyline. Ripples form on the water's surface, signaling a scuba diver's surface from the water. As the diver splashes to the surface, a figure approaches the boat, supporting himself with an umbrella for a walking stick. The diver passes a series of duffel bags to the boat's owner, bringing them aboard one at a time, and the owner deposits them in the small cargo area. Suddenly, the figure throws on the engine and speeds away, giving the diver only seconds to shield himself from the waves, and leaving him alone to bring his clenched fists against the water's surface in a moment of rage.
