“It’s from Annie isn’t it?” Bruce asked and Jason looked affronted.
“It’s from Mame!” He shouted. “With Angela Lansbury! Not Annie!”
“I could have sworn the version of Annie I saw with my parents had this song in it.”
“Well, I’m glad Alfred didn’t take you to see it after the fact at least, even if your version was wrong.” Jason said. It was Bruce’s turn to look affronted.
“Alfred would never. My class actually went on a field trip to see it some years later and Alfred let me stay home and watch Charlie Brown Christmas with him instead.”
