Chapter Text
1 year after the movie
Bunny was not happy pooka. It was three weeks before Easter and his dye river was frozen solid. Now he was looking for the only one cause it, Jack Frost.
"North, have you seen, Frost," Bunny looked angrily at the Russian who gave him a shushing motion when he stormed into the leaving room where the man was reading a book.
"His been here since yesterday morning," North explained, "His been asleep on the couch for sometime."
"Are you sure his asleep?" Bunny glared at North.
Bunny looked at the couch and there was the winter spirit breathing deeply, "He was attacked by spring spirits. He didn't want to bother you with Easter being so close. So he came here looking for help. I had Phil patch him up.
"My dye river is frozen solid. He is the only who could have done it," Bunny shouted matching North wince and Jack groan and winced when he tried to set up.
"I thought the elves were loud," he said exhausted and in a lot of pain.
"Jack, Bunny said that his dye river is frozen," North, told the waking spirit.
"His what?" Bunny realized that Jack really was asleep and felt sorry for waking the boy up.
"My dye river. I use it to help dye the eggs for Easter," Bunny watched a very tired winter spirit wince as he tried to stand up.
"Stay down. You have several bruised ribs two broken ribs," North said sternly.
"Bunny need help. Easter is just around the corner. I might be able to help by unthaw the river, but no promises but I will try."
I'll go with, and we will take the snow globe," North handed Jack his staff, "When you're done you get rest or I get Sandy."
Jack gave a look at him that said 'Yes, Dad.'
Once in the warren they saw spikes of ice sticking out of the colorful river, "I don't do spikes," Jack explained , "Too dangerous. Let me take a look, and then I see what I can do, but if I can't unthaw it you'll need to talk to Mother Nature and warn that the General of Winter is causing trouble for you and spring.
"Why?" Bunny asked Not really wanting to talk to Emily Jane.
Two reason," Jack kneeled at the river, "One he doesn't like the guardians," Jack touched the ice and pulled back shaking it before putting it back in, "and two he really hates me, and now I'm a guardian ," Jack's eyes started to glow a bright blue that they were almost white.
It was like watching the season in reverse as the ice spikes went down and the rover started to flowing again with vibrate color, When Jack finally stood up and leaned heavily on his staff, "That should do it."
North and Bunny could see how tired Jack was, I had to replace all the negative energy with everything that we represent ," Jack looked like he was ready to pass out."
"Jack your hand," Bunny gently took his hand in his paw, " That looks bad."
"And painful," North replied as Jack leaned on him.
"I really can't feel it," Jack shrugged eyes getting heavy, "I'm going to go back to sleep."
Bunny caught him along with North, "Leave him here, North. I'll patch him up. That way you don't have to juggle him with the snow globe."
"Get a hold of me when he wakes up. I worry about him," North told Bunny.
"I will mate," Bunny told the Cassack.
Bunny started to make every egg perfect. For some odd reason the color looked more vibrate, Bunny thought it had to do with Jack helping the ice melt.
Bunny checked on the sleeping spirit as he slept, and looked slightly older than he looked when he was awake. Bunny wondered who Jack Frost was anyway. Not the prankster, or the newest guardian but the person under it all.
Jack sighed in his sleep mumbling something that sounded like a girl's name, "Isabella."
Jack must have a girl in his life or had. Bunny finished his eggs that he was going to do for the day.
So the Winter General didn't like the guardians or Jack, It was common knowledge that Jack had enemies before he was chosen. A lot of spirit were jealous of Jack because of his powers and the fact that MIM chose him.
Bunny checked on Jack's hand. It was so dark shade of blue it was almost black. Who knew that Jack could get frostbite. How strong was Jack that he could melt the Winter General's ice.
Jack moaned as he rolled over in his sleep. Bunny was worried about Jack's ribs. The spring spirits can be very cruel.
Knowing how bad spring spirits can be he went to Jack's ribs himself. Going over to him slowly so not two wake he gently touched Jack's ribs.
Feeling the ribs Bunny winced feeling one was broken in two area and some were creaked, "Who did this to you?" he asked the sleeping boy.
Gently picking up Jack and his staff then Bunny took Jack back to his borrow and made that the comfortable and then went to tell North.
