Chapter Text
Yoimiya stretched her arms wide, sunlight pooling from the windows and dappling her golden hair as she bounced down the stairs. "Yoimiya! Will you check the mail?" her father faintly called from above.
Her head perked up, her wide eyes sparkling. "Mhm! Of course!" she shouted back, her feet already moving toward the door. A moment later, she was sprinting outside, only to return just as quickly, clutching a prestigious-looking envelope.
"Ayaka!" She smiled helplessly, "Look at this!" she exclaimed, bursting back into the room where the Kamisato sat gracefully, a book in her hands.
Ayaka glanced up, her delicate features lighting with curiosity. "What is it?"
"It’s from Teyvat Academy!" Yoimiya waved the envelope excitedly. "It’s got their official seal and everything!"
Ayaka gently set her book aside with a soft smile, the pat hint of curiosity still burning in her blue eyes. "Well, what are you waiting for? Open it!"
Yoimiya hesitated for dramatic effect before ripping the seal open with unnecessary vigor. "Gah, Yoimiya, be careful! That could be important!" Ayaka scolded lightly.
Yoimiya laughed, unfolding the letter. Her eyes darted across the page, widening with every word. Then, a grin broke across her face as she practically vibrated with excitement.
"What does it say?" Ayaka leaned forward, her face smushed next to Yoimiya’s as to read it herself.
Yoimiya jumped to her feet, clearing her throat dramatically before reading aloud:
"Dear Guardian of Naganohara Yoimiya,
We at Teyvat Academy are delighted to offer your child the opportunity to participate in an exchange program with UA High School in Japan. As part of this program, your child will travel to Musutafu, Japan, accompanied by three teachers and six other vision-wielding students. All expenses will be covered by the HPSC, otherwise known as the Hero Commission. This program aims to provide your child with advanced training opportunities as well as cultural exchange experiences.
Sincerely, Teyvat Academy."
Yoimiya finished with a triumphant flourish, the letter held high. "Can you believe it?!"
Ayaka’s eyes sparkled with excitement. "That’s incredible! You have to go, right?" She turned to Yoimiya’s father, who had just stepped into the room.
Yoimiya hopped towards with cheery, and practically shoved the letter into his hands.
The man looked at the letter, then at his beaming daughter. "Well," he said slowly, "if Yoimiya wants to go, then of course she can."
"AAAAH! Thank you, thank you, thank you!" Yoimiya launched herself at her father, squeezing him in a tight hug before spinning back to Ayaka. "I’m going to Japan! Can you believe it? It’s going to be amazing—the food, the sights, the people!" She paused, her excitement dimming for just a moment, a frown crossing her face, “I’ll miss you, though.”
Ayaka’s smile softened. "I’ll miss you too, but we’ll stay in touch. And uh… who knows? Maybe my brother will let me visit during winter break or something."
Yoimiya’s grin returned full force. "Yes! And I can introduce you to everyone I meet! Oh, wait—I should see if anyone else we know got in!" She fumbled for her phone, then groaned. "Ugh, I left it at Hu Tao’s after the sleepover."
Ayaka slid her hand over her mouth as she chuckled. "We’ll figure it out later. For now, let’s get you packed." She took Yoimiya’s hand, pulling her upstairs.
"Alright- so, packing! I need to pack." Yoimiya stated, looking around her cluttered room. A variety of clothing lay strewn about the floor, assignments littered her desk and nightstand. Not to mention all the crafting materials she never put up.
Ayaka slid over to the closet, "Lets start with clothes."
Yoimiya nodded enthusiastically, bouncing on her heels as she joined Ayaka by the closet. "Clothes, right! Okay, so… what do you think I’ll need? It’s Japan—ooh, should I bring my summer yukata? It could be fun for festivals! Oh, and maybe something fancy, just in case!" She dove into the closet, pulling out a colorful pile of garments.
Ayaka carefully took one of the yukatas from Yoimiya’s hands, smoothing it out as she looked back at her. "This one is beautiful. It suits you perfectly."
Yoimiya beamed. " Aww thanks! I made some of the designs myself. Oh, and speaking of designs, should I pack some of my fireworks stuff? I bet they’ve never seen fireworks like Naganohara Fireworks!"
Ayaka raised an amused eyebrow. "I think you’ll need to check with the program about that. Something tells me traveling with explosive materials might be… frowned upon."
Yoimiya groaned dramatically, flopping onto her bed. "Booo! But fine, I’ll leave the big stuff. Maybe I can sneak in some sparklers, though." She grinned.
Ayaka chuckled, setting the folded yukata into Yoimiya’s open suitcase. "Let’s focus on the basics for now. You’ll need training clothes, comfortable outfits, and your academy uniform."
"Oh, right, the uniform!" Yoimiya shot up, running to her desk where the only thing folded in her room sat, the Teyvat Academy uniform. She held it up with a flourish.
Her face suddenly lit up as she finished placing her uniform in the suitcase. "Should I bring my Kamera? Oh, and my sketchbook! What if I get inspired by all the cool stuff in Japan?" Yoimiya exclaimed, grabbing both items with wide eyes.
"Definitely," Ayaka agreed, taking the sketchbook from her friend and tucking it neatly into the bag’s side pocket. "Creativity will be a great way to document everything you find."
After a while, the cluttered room began to take on a semblance of order. The suitcase, now (mostly) neatly packed, was filled with eccentric piles of clothing, some neat, others more or less thrown in there; as well as lots of little keepsakes and knick-knacks.
"Are you sure you left your phone at Hu Tao’s?" Ayaka asked, adjusting the sleeves of her dress shirt, her voice betraying a little concern about the time. "You’ve been so scatterbrained lately."
"I know, I know! But I need it before I leave! And I'm totally sure I left it there. I have to tell everyone about Japan and, uh, see if anyone else got the letter! I can’t miss any of the gossip!" Yoimiya insisted, her hand up, eyes wide with excitement.
Ayaka still slightly worried about how late they seemed to be running, smiled softly. "You’re impossible sometimes."
"I know! But you love me anyway," Yoimiya slinged an arm around her as they walked.
The two made their way out of the neighborhood, and after a short walk through the bustling streets, they reached Hu Tao's place the door swung open, a relatively quiet place, though the scent of strong incense filled the air. Hu Tao’s voice rang out from somewhere in the back.
"Heyyyy!" Yoimiya lightly yelled into the house.
"I know that sound!" Hu Tao’s sing-song voice called. "Is that you, Yoimiya? And Ayaka, too? Come on in!"
Yoimiya grinned, running toward the source of Hu Tao’s voice. The brown haired girl took a step forward, waving her hand in front of her face, her grin mischievous. "Are you here for a secret mission or something?"
Yoimiya laughed nervously, scratching the back of her head. “Uh, no... I’m here to pick up my phone, actually. Left it here during the sleepover, remember?”
“Of course, how could I forget?” Hu Tao turned, rummaging through a drawer full of random trinkets, and pulled out Yoimiya’s phone, holding it up triumphantly. “Here you go! Also, I’m the one who needs to ask you something.”
“Wait—huh? what do you mean?” Yoimiya tilted her head, confused.
Hu Tao’s expression grew more serious, as serious as Hu Tao could be. “Ya know, before Fur-Fur left from the sleepover Neuvillette had texted her about her getting a letter from the Academy! Do you know what that's all about?"
" 'cause she said she'd tell me but hasn't texted me back in a two days!" Hu Tao whined dramatically.
Ayaka lit up, "Hey, maybe its the same letter you got? Do you think she could be doing the program to go to Japan as well?" Both Yoimiya and Hu Tao whipped their heads to look at her.
"Heyyyy! That's a good thought!!" The blonde girl spun, "Hm?" Hu Tao looked at the two quizzically.
Hu Tao looked between the two of them, still confused. “Wait, what letter are we talking about? What’s this?”
Yoimiya paused mid-spin and blinked at her. “Wait… you don’t know? Furina didn’t tell you?”
Hu Tao furrowed her brow, clearly puzzled. “Uhh, no? The last I heard from Furina was during the sleepover, and she didn’t mention any letters or programs. Why, is she going to Japan too?”
Ayaka shook her head with a soft laugh. “No, we’re not sure yet. Yoimiya got a letter from Teyvat Academy about an exchange program with UA High School in Japan. She’s going with a few other students, all expenses paid.”
Hu Tao’s eyes widened, but the confusion lingered. “Wait a minute… that does sound pretty cool, but why didn’t Furina mention this to me? She was with me the whole time after the sleepover. If she got the same letter, she didn’t say anything about it!”
Yoimiya and Ayaka exchanged a glance, both pondering it. Yoimiya crossed her arms. “Well, maybe Furina’s keeping it a secret from everyone—She probably wants to reveal it with some dramatic flair.”
"OH! Or— She's just entering her mysterious era!" Hu Tao smirked, Yoimiya nearly jumped out of her skin as Ayaka suddenly shoved her phone in her face, "The time!"
Yoimiya's heart skipped a beat as she looked closer at the phone. "Oh no! We’re so late!" She spun around, grabbing her phone and shoving it back into her pocket. “We have to go! I’m going to miss my flight!”
Ayaka, though not nearly as frantic, offered a small, reassuring smile. “You’ll be fine. You’ll make it.”
Hu Tao grinned, clearly amused at the flurry of activity. "Don't worry, Yoimiya! You’ve got this, but next time, maybe you should leave the phone-at-Hu-Tao’s routine for when you’re not running for your life." She winked at them both.
“Thanks, Hu Tao!” Yoimiya shouted as she darted toward the door, grabbing Ayaka’s hand in the process. “I’ll text you when I land!”
“Safe travels, Yoimiya!” Hu Tao called after them.
Ayaka followed Yoimiya as they sped down the street again, adrenaline pushing them faster than ever. “You really are going to make this an event, huh?”
Yoimiya looked over at her, a wild grin plastered across her face. “Absolutely! This is going to be the best trip ever. And when I get back, I’m going to have so many stories to tell. Japan, fireworks, maybe new friends... who knows what could happen?!”
She pulled Ayaka into a tight hug.
The flight was uneventful, though Yoimiya found it impossible to sit still. The plane's hum was soothing, but her mind buzzed with excitement. She fidgeted in her seat, alternating between looking out the window and glancing at her phone. Not wanting to miss anything, she opened her text messages.

Her fingers tapped eagerly against her phone as she read over the other messages. She had already told everyone back home about her exciting adventure. Her thoughts drifted to her family and friends—would they be jealous of her getting to train at UA High? Yoimiya giggled at the thought. "Of course, they’d be jealous. Who wouldn’t want to be part of something so epic?" she murmured to herself, eyes twinkling.
Suddenly, her mind jumped to her future classmates. Would they be as excited about fireworks as she was? Would they be as enthusiastic about learning? How smart were people the people at UA? Sooo many questions!!!
Yoimiya’s mind raced with possibilities. She imagined dazzling her new classmates with her unique Naganohara Fireworks, hearing them "ooh" and "ahh" as the sparks danced across the night sky. Surely they’d never seen anything like it. Her chest puffed with pride at the thought.
But then, doubt crept in. What if they didn’t care about fireworks? What if they thought they were childish or unimpressive compared to the quirks at UA? Her excitement wavered. They're still high school students?
She shook her head and grinned. "Nah, I’ll win them over. Fireworks are universal!"
A gentle tap on her shoulder pulled her from her thoughts. One of the flight attendants smiled kindly. “We’ll be landing soon. Please ensure your seatbelt is fastened.”
Yoimiya nodded eagerly, quickly buckling up. She craned her neck to peer out the window, catching her first real glimpse of Japan’s coastline. Her heart fluttered in her chest as the plane descended. She could make out the sprawling city of Musutafu below, its buildings glimmering in the sunlight like tiny jewels.
As the plane touched down, a thrill shot through her. She was finally here.
The airport was bustling, the chatter of different languages filling the air. Yoimiya’s eyes darted around as she followed the other passengers. A sign caught her eye—Teyvat Academy Exchange Program. Beneath it stood a tall man in a sleek suit, holding the sign with a practiced air of professionalism.
He spotted Yoimiya and smiled warmly. “Ah, you must be Naganohara Yoimiya. Welcome to Japan! I’m Daiki, one of your coordinators for the exchange program. The others are already waiting in the lounge.”
Yoimiya beamed, bowing slightly. “Thank you! I’m so excited to be here!”
“Follow me,” Daiki said, gesturing toward a nearby corridor.
As they walked, Yoimiya couldn’t help but pepper him with questions. “So, what’s UA like? Are the teachers as amazing as everyone says?”
Daiki chuckled. “The UA staff is exceptional. You’ll meet your fellow exchange students and some UA representatives shortly.”
When they entered the lounge, Yoimiya’s heart skipped a beat. Familiar faces turned toward her—Furina, waved lazily, her silver hair catching the light. The second one being Chiori, a friend the Kamisato siblings had introduced her to during a particularly eventful trip to Fontaine, offered a small nod.
The rest the students she didn't really know... YET!
“Yoimiya!” Furina called out, her voice carrying its usual dramatic flair. “I see you made it without losing your luggage—or yourself!”
Yoimiya laughed, “I’d never miss this, Furina! Though I almost didn't make it.”
Furina chuckled awkwardly.
Before Yoimiya could respond, another voice cut through. “Alright, everyone, gather around!”
A tall woman with a no-nonsense aura entered the room, (Yoimiya decided to not mention her fashion choice). “I’m Kayama Nemuri, or Midnight. I’ll be your UA liaison. Welcome to Musutafu, and to UA High School’s exchange program.”
The room fell silent as the students listened intently. Midnight’s voice was confident and somewhat welcoming as she outlined their first-day itinerary, which included a tour of the campus, an introduction to their homeroom teacher, as well as a meeting with Principal Nezu.
As Midnight continued to speak, Yoimiya found herself vibrating with excitement again. She leaned toward Furina and whispered, "Do you think they’ll let us test out the training grounds today? I’m dying to see how they compare to Teyvat Academy’s facilities."
Furina smirked, brushing her hair over her shoulder. "They'll probably want to ease us in first. But who knows? Maybe they'll throw us into something dramatic right away. That seems very... 'hero school,' don't you think?"
The group was led outside to a waiting bus, which drove them through the bustling streets of Musutafu. Yoimiya pressed her face to the window, taking in the towering skyscrapers, neon signs, and throngs of people going about their day. It was so different from home, and yet, it felt oddly inviting.
When the bus finally pulled into UA High School's gates, Yoimiya's jaw dropped. The campus was enormous, the architecture modern and sleek, with a commanding presence that screamed "prestige." Her gaze was immediately drawn to the towering main building, a huge 'H' shaped tower.
“This place is insane!” Yoimiya exclaimed, hopping off the bus and spinning around to take it all in. “It’s like something out of a movie!”
Midnight smiled indulgently. “Wait until you see the inside. Follow me.”
After the woman's words, everyone was given a student ID and they stepped onto the large campus. Yoimiya felt the walk into UA was too short, she barely got to see everything! Many long stares and large staircases later the group ended up at the principals office...
WHAT IS THAT??!?!? Her thoughts whirled, do they have Yokai here as well? Or is that the principal and he has a- what is it? A mutant quirk?
Yoimiya froze mid-step, her eyes widening as she caught sight of a small, furry creature sitting on a plush chair behind a desk that seemed almost comically large for its occupant.
“Welcome to UA High School!” the creature said, his voice warm and cheerful. “I am Nezu, the principal of this fine institution. It’s a pleasure to meet all of you.”
Yoimiya’s jaw dropped. “Is that... a talking animal?!” she whispered to the emo looking guy next to her.
He looked quizzically at Yoimiya for a moment, almost looking offended she had talked to him. He then turned away with an annoyed expression rather than responding to her.
Yoimiya blinked rapidly, stunned at his impoliteness, then turned her attention back to Nezu, who seemed to notice her staring. The principal gave her a knowing smile, his small, beady eyes twinkling.
Nezu turned to address the group as a whole. “Now, before we move on to your campus tour, I want to encourage you all to embrace this unique opportunity. At UA, we value not only strength and skill but also innovation, collaboration, and heart. Remember, you’re not just here to learn about heroism; you’re here to grow as people.”
Despite his inspiring words, none of the students seemed all to moved. In fact, the rude guy next to Yoimiya scowled, but he didn't say anything. Weirdo. If you have thoughts and feelings why not just say them? The blonde girl couldn't help but wonder.
“Now, students,” Nezu continued, clasping his tiny paws together, and looked to Midnight to continue.
Midnight clapped her hands. “Alright, everyone! Let’s keep things moving. You’ll have plenty of time to chat with Principal Nezu later. For now, let’s start the campus tour.”
The group shuffled out, Yoimiya’s excitement bubbling over as they entered the grand hallways of UA. The corridors were filled with students rushing to class, their quirks creating a kaleidoscope of energy. A girl floated past, books trailing behind her in mid-air. Another student dashed by at lightning speed, leaving sparks in his wake.
“Whoa…” Yoimiya breathed, craning her neck to take it all in. “This place is like a light novel in real life.”
As they passed by a training facility, the loud boom of something shook the facility.
“That’s so cool!” Yoimiya exclaimed, her nose practically pressed against the glass. “I can’t wait to try out the training grounds.”
“You’re going to get us left behind,” Furina whined, tugging her along. “Save the gawking for later.”
The tour continued, showcasing the dorms, the cafeteria, and finally the massive training ground known as Gym Gamma.
Midnight smiled knowingly. “You’ll get your chance to explore it soon. But for now, let’s head to your homeroom.”
The group was ushered into a classroom labeled 1-A, it was empty as they entered.
At the front of the classroom, a disheveled man in a sleeping bag peeked out with a bored expression. “These are the exchange students?” he muttered, dragging himself upright. “I’m Shota Aizawa, your homeroom teacher. Welcome to UA.”
Yoimiya tilted her head, whispering to Furina, “Is he always this...?”
"I think that’s his version of a pep talk," Furina replied curtly, her face betrayed her inner thoughts though. Her nose slightly turned up and awkwardly smiling.
Aizawa motioned to the empty seats. "Currently 1A is doing their Hero training courses, so when you officially start classes tomorrow you'll meet them. Tomorrow, we’ll also have practical evaluations to see where you stand."
Yoimiya’s grin widened. Evaluations? YES PLEASE!!
Behind her, Midnight tilted her head, "Ah ah! Eraser Head, you're forgetting something!"
He looked away, then nodded slowly. "Oh yeah, here." From his desk he pulled out a few sheets of paper, "These are the registration forms for your weapons. Normally students here are only permitted access to hero gear later on, but seeing as we have been told from many of the faculty that you are adept with them, were allowing it." Aizawa placed them in Master Jean's hand.
Jean accepted them, "Thank you. Is this all we should know before we take our leave?"
Both of the UA teachers paused, "Yeah, I think so. But if you have any questions, feel free to ask now!" Midnight smiled thoughtfully. Do I have any questions...? No. I don't think so...
An awkward silence gripped the room.
"I don't believe we do." Yoimiya watched as Zhongli said swiftly, and turned to the students. "I guess we will see you tomorrow." Yoimiya waved goodbye as they walked away, her feet bouncing left to right, unable to contain her pent up energy.
As soon as the group left his classroom, he sighed. This year is going to be a rough year. I have to deal with twenty-seven children? Aizawa combed his fingers through his hair as he began pulling up the files Nezu had sent him.
Supposedly Teyvat Academy has superb records, stunning grades, and Teyvat as a country has crime rates near the lowest in the world. There is no way their teaching methods are safe. It would make no sense.
The classroom was silent now, Aizawa Shouta let out a small sigh, reclining in his chair at the front of the room. His scarf pooled loosely around his neck, and for once, he allowed himself to enjoy the quiet.
The Teyvat students had been... a whirlwind. Their uniqueness was very clear. They stood out like sore thumbs, everything about them. They way they spoke, the way they dressed, they way they carried themselves was a dead giveaway that they were different.
He’d had his doubts about the program from the start, but Nezu’s enthusiasm (and stubbornness) had ensured his involvement. Who would want an additional seven children to a class already full of teenagers bursting with energy?
And now, with their departure, the classroom felt unusually empty.
Chaos wrapped in potential. That was the best way to describe the Teyvat students. Click. He opened the first students profile.
As Aizawa recalled, the profiles had been made specially by Nezu. Originally the profiles had been requested as part of the exchange, but Headmaster Asmoday had immediately ruled this out, seeing it as an invasion of her students privacy.
While she wasn't wrong, Nezu also hadn't been in the wrong by asking for bare minimum information about them. It would be stupid to have completely unfamiliar people (Especially when the teachers have been rumored to abuse their students) come into UA.
So Nezu had done a bit of prying and learned who exactly was coming before it was announced to them, and constructed profiles for each student and teacher. Though they lacked much information, the only thing listed was a brief physical description, grade records, and the vision type they wield.
Aizawa continued scrolling through. I shouldn't be shocked that these are all the same. Aizawa stopped.
His eyes widened, why does this one have extra information?
Furina de Fontaine
Vision - Hydro
A+ Student
Hydro Archon descendant/successor (?)
He stopped reading the rest. Hydro Archon? Aizawa's face scrunched in confusion. What does that even mean? Isn't Archon an old Greek term? Quickly pulling up a tab he typed in 'hydro archon teyvat'. He clicked on the first article to pop up.
"Teyvat Archons? Are they Real, or a False Sentiment of Hope?"
By: [Reporter Name]
Date: *******
For centuries, Teyvat has remained a land of mystery, its true nature obscured by secrecy and enigma. Among the most debated topics outside of the region are the Archons—the supposed divine rulers who are said to govern the seven nations of Teyvat, each embodying one of the elemental forces of this country. Yet, despite their legendary status, many are left wondering: Do the Archons truly exist, or are they simply a myth, a construct created by the people of Teyvat to fuel their hopes in times of uncertainty?
The Archons are central to the lore of Teyvat, revered as both gods and protectors. According to ancient texts and stories that reporters have been able to gather, each Archon controls one of the elemental forces—Anemo (Wind), Geo (Earth), Electro (Electricity), Pyro (Fire), Hydro (Water), Cryo (Ice), and Dendro (Nature). These beings are said to grant Visions, powerful artifacts imbued with the elements, to those deemed worthy, further cementing their perceived divine status. However, despite their dominance in Teyvat’s history, hard evidence of their existence has remained elusive.
The closed-off nature of Teyvat only adds to the intrigue surrounding the Archons. As Teyvat is but a distant and unreachable realm, veiled in layers of protection, inaccessible through both physical and metaphysical barriers. Few have ventured beyond the borders, and those who have returned speak little of what they encountered. Teyvat’s isolation has, in many ways, fueled speculation about the true nature of these so called Archons.
Some researchers argue that the Archons are merely symbolic figures, representing the natural forces that govern the world. Others claim they are powerful, god-like beings who shape the very fabric of existence. Yet, no one has ever seen an Archon in person, and none of the scattered records about them offer definitive proof of their existence. It is as if these beings—if they exist at all—are intentionally hidden from the eyes of mortals.
The question, then, arises: Are the Archons truly real, or are they simply a false sentiment of hope, a comforting myth created by the people of Teyvat in times of need? And, is the world being lied to about these 'mystical beings'?
Teyvatian Research
It is common knowledge that Teyvat is closed off, and secretive. But heroes from all over have been able to scrape together bits and pieces of history to come to the level of what we know about Teyvat now. One of these pieces of evidence is one of the only known photos to have ever been taken inside of Teyvat and have left it's borders.
Date taken - ******* Photographer - [unknown]
Though the identity of the figures remains a mystery, some researchers have speculated that the girl in the background of the photo could be one of the Archons—though this is purely conjecture.
Captured from an odd angle, this photograph was taken by a hidden floor camera, which provided one of the rare opportunities to see anything beyond Teyvat's borders. The image shows two figures, though neither is clearly identifiable. One of them appears to be an older man, his features are hard to distinguish due to the low quality of the camera. The second figure, standing just behind him, a young woman, her face is obscured in the shot by feathers, leaving her identity completely unknown.
Being a photo from Teyvat, it has led to numerous theories. The woman in the background has sparked speculation among some researchers that she could be one of the Archons, or perhaps a powerful entity from Teyvat. While this is purely speculation, the eerie atmosphere in the image and the mysterious circumstances of the photo’s capture have led some to wonder whether this could be a rare glimpse into the hidden world of Teyvat’s rulers.
However, the identities of both figures remain a complete mystery. The man in the photo has not been linked to any known individuals, and the woman has not been recognized by any researchers or scholars. With no further context or information available, the world is left with more questions than answers.
Could this strange figure be an Archon, or is she merely another unknown face from a hidden land? If she is indeed one of the Archons, what does this photo mean for the broader mystery of Teyvat? These questions remain unanswered, and the photo continues to haunt those who seek the truth behind the Archons and their-
Aizawa's face jerked back from the laptop, he shook his head. An Archon is a Teyvatian god? De Fontaine was the one with the white hair... She didn't seem to out of the ordinary, just a narcissistic teenager. If what this article is saying is true- than what the hell is going on?
How exactly is she related to a supposed god? His thought whirled. Loud footsteps bounced down the hallways towards the classroom. Oh, 1A's class is over.
"Because there arn't enough rooms for everyone to each get one, you'll be sharing. One person gets a room to themselves. You guys can decide however you like, I don't care. Just don't fight, verbally or physically." Alhaitham gave each one of them a stern look.
Yoimiya sighed, I only know two people here!!! What if I get a room with that one super mean guy!? Or one of the quiet people?! Sure they're probably super nice and adorable- But I need a yapper! I need to have a conversation buddy, I'm an extrovert! This has got go well!
Furina laughed awkwardly, "Well, uh... How exactly are we going to divide this up..?"
"Well for starters, we don't all know each other, so I'll start. I'm Yoimiya! Oh and I'm the Pyro rep!" She said ecstatically, and looked to Chiori, who was next to her, to introduce herself.
Chiori looked back at her, than back to the circle of people. "Chiori, I'm the Geo representative."
The guy next her spoke, "Ah, I am Ororon of The Masters of the Night-Wind." He stuttered a moment, "Electro representative."
"Wanderer." The guy who had been so oh so rude, in Yoimiya's opinion, spoke. Furina nudged him harshly, "Oh come on Hat Guy you didn't even say you're vision!" Wanderer scowled.
"I have an Anemo vision." He looked pointedly at Furina, who just giggled. Huh... I didn't know she knew him. I wonder how? She barely ever leaves Fontaine. Yoimiya crossed her arms as she looked at Furina.
"Ahem, I am Furina! And, of course I am the Hydro representative."
Everyone looked to the next girl. "Oh- uh Collei, and I have a Dendro Vision." She sounds so sweet!!! I'll definitely talk to her later.
"Freminet. And Cryo. I have a Cryo Vision." He looked awkward as he spoke, clearly unwanting of the attention surrounding him.
Everyone stood awkwardly, clearly waiting for someone else to say something. "Kayyyyy- So... any ideas?"
"I mean, Wanderer and Furina clearly know each other. Why don't you two share a room?" Chiori shot out the idea. Furina looked like she'd been stabbed. Wanderer looked over with an expression Yoimiya didn't know existed.
"I would rather sleep in the Abyss," Wanderer stated, "Just because we know each other does not mean we are close." Furina scoffed, "Sure, sure. That, and the fact you're a loud ass snorer."
Yoimiya did not have the braincells to listen to them argue. So she did not. Bickering continued between the two, ceaseless, meaningless bickering at that. It continued until Alhaitham walked from his room to the group.
"I thought I said no fighting?" Yoimiya almost jumped out of her skin. He appeared out of no where!!! Eeeh!
"Clearly you are struggling to decide. Here, you two-," He pointed to Yoimiya and Chiori, "You two," You pointed at Freminet and Collei, "And just because you started this, you two." He looked at Wanderer and Furina.
"And Ororon can have the singular one." Alhaitham walked away.
...
"We don't actually have to do that. Right?" Furina looked stricken.
From the background Alhaitham yelled, "Yes you do!"
At least I'm with Chiori... Why would he put those two together though?
