Work Text:
Keep your head high, for you cried to the world. You crowned your head with memories, until the purpose of your life woke. The dead are put down with a barrel of smoke.
Avoid walking on the road of regret, before you run out of your breath. The hole in your heart, they did poke, for you didn’t bend under the oppression’s yoke.
Before the dread has you entombed, and the light in your eyes is consumed, the cold fact you must bear, do not despair, or this cruel world will surely trap you in a snare.
Recall the people who got you this far. From those, yours is the morning, the love, and the hope. Be sure to reflect, since from weak among the people, the fate will surely select.
As the day turns into the night, you wonder and wander. Your heart hardened; you found Javi. Words of toughness and indifference radiates from you. You are so lost. All the awful things you have suffered, comes with a cost.
With your shell, you protected yourself. The evil of this world blinding you, like a shroud, where everything that might be sincerely good and could perfectly align with trust, peace and friendship, has long tried to resurface from the threat of the night, but you chose to fight.
The skylight dawned, as you broke your shell and threw away the chains, as the memories of those who have died, pulses through your veins.
Starting to know him, you saw him as just. He understood you and taught you, like he is someone you could trust.
The pair of brothers, no different than all the others. Night or day, both have their own way. Though only one of them didn’t make you go astray.
AJ is alive. You two hug and you start to drive. That’s the hope you got. You sobbed. The stone from your heart finally dropped.
You want to find a home. To have a chance for peace. To make all this earthly grossness quit. To finally have a bliss, without receiving the walker’s kiss.
Lee and the others are looking at you with pride. The look in their eyes is quite a sight. They shall watch over you from heaven, as you will forever struggle. Triumphing over death, and chance, and to see, that old time.
