Kokichi Oma hoped out of bed, it happened to be his eighth birthday day and he was excited. Well it was his birthday he was always excited on his birthday. He rushed out of his room half dressed. Kokichi's
mum is halfway up the stairs when she notices Kokichi "Kokichi, your not even half dressed" She sighs and helps him put his clothes on properly. Kokichi grinned "but we get to go to the zoo today!"
Kokichi exclaimed "Yes yes.." Kokichi's mum nods and does a slight smile, she places her hand on Kokichi's shoulder. After eating his breakfast, he scrambled into his room to pack his bag for the zoo trip.
he hummed while putting completely unrelated things in his bag that aren't necessary for the zoo, childish stuff. Kokichi's mother enters the room and picks up the bag while shaking her head "Let me do it Kokichi"
she insisted "I should've know your too young to properly pack a bag" She scolded. "just go to the car" she instructed. "Yes mum!" Kokichi smiled brightly and ran downstairs to the car. Kokichi plopped down in his seat and tumbled with the seat belt.
After what seemed like a eternity, Kokichi's mum came and sat in the drivers seat. As they drove to the local zoo, Kokichi impatiently squirmed in his seat. "Kokichi sit still for five minutes" his mother said in a mock annoyed tone.
Kokichi pouts but nonetheless listens, his mother parked the car in a empty spot. They got out of the car and strolled to the zoo entrance, Kokichi contently holding his mum's hand.
When they pay to get inside the zoo "I'm going to buy snacks" Kokichi's mum informed him "Okay mum! I'll wait he-" Kokichi starts saying but his mum silences him "I'm not going to leave you here by yourself. Your only eight" She told him sternly.
Kokichi giggled mischievously, he was planning to see the gorillas. She pulled him by the hand with her, "What would you like to get, Kokichi?" His mum asked softly "Hmm can I get chips?" Kokichi pleaded
"Sure, son" She nods and pats his head. After they got the snacks, Kokichi was smiling excitedly. "Mum! can we see the gorillas?" he exclaimed. His mother shrugged "Okay sure, it is your birthday." she smiled.
they walked to the area where the gorillas are kept, only to be met by a sign saying 'Gorillas where moved to a different zoo' Kokichi huffed "aww. I wanted to see the gorillas" he pouted. "Its alright son we can see other animals" She reassured and ruffled his hair. Kokichi moved his hands to fix his hair "Okay mum!" He beamed.
They spent the rest of the trip looking at all the other animals, Kokichi and his mum had a very nice time at the zoo. On the way home, Kokichi fell asleep in the car. "Oh, I guess going to the zoo tired him out..." Kokichi's mum noticed when she opened the car door for him.
Kokichi's mum smiled and took him inside, she tucked him into bed and kissed his forehead. She proceeded to close the door leaving a night light on, she ate dinner, took a shower, then went to bed.
