Summary
“Eddie” he thought he heard coming from the person beside him.
He felt drunk and like he’s not really hearing his name. The lady never called him anything but “idiot”, or “dirt” or “shithead”. Why would she call him by his name now?
A moan escaped his lips and he tries to adjust himself upright, but he’s still unable to move.
“Wake up, Eddie. I need you to open your eyes.” The voice, almost familiar, tickled his ears.
Eddie cracked his eyes, trying to see who was beside him. They obviously weren’t in the same shape as him. Maybe someone had found him, and would be bringing him to safety.
