The inside of the onsen was decorated to celebrate his arrival.
It wasn't anything fancy: balloons, streamers, Makkachin tissue holders wearing gold medals, and homemade banners displaying the same message in three different languages:
お帰りなさい
добро пожаловать домой
Welcome Home, Victor
Victor felt his eyes stinging with tears as he took their meaning to heart, and accepted hugs and cheers from family members and guests alike.
He couldn't stop smiling.
This was it.
This was where he and Yuuri had chosen to settle down and make their lives together.
It was good to be home.
