“Sorry, pet,” Tamala sauntered towards her and drug a long fingernail from her shoulder to her neck, stopping at one of the healing love bites Reth had left on her skin.
“But I may have something else that might interest you…”
She shuddered, pulling away from her touch.
“What?” Star swallowed nervously. She felt like a sernuk in the trap of a hunter around Tamala.
“Just a little potion I’ve been tinkering with…” she trailed off, fetching a small glass bottle of glowing pink liquid from a shelf before passing it to Star. Tamala eyed her reaction, waiting for her curiosity to get the better of her.
“What does it do?” She finally took the bait, examining the way the glow cast a dull pink hue onto her skin.
Tamala leaned in close, stopping to whisper in the little human’s ear, “It makes you remember.”
