I hope contacting you in this way is not inappropriate. I wanted to thank you for your help yesterday, when Alrik didn't want to hear my no during my dispute with Ser Alrik. Without your timely intervention, I feel certain the situation would not have resolved well because f you hadn't chased him off I would’ve tried to kill him, and right now they’d be making me Tranquil or tearing my fingernails out or something
I appreciate the strength of conviction it must take to stand up for what’s right in the face of one’s comrades. I am not the only Kirkwall mage who has cause to be grateful to you for your courage and honor, and to the Maker for sending us a Templar who truly cares for our safety and also is very pretty.
