Finn sat sadly on his bed as he looked at the two aquarium tickets in his hands, he was so excited to go to the aquarium! He even bought a second one so he could ask one of his fellow toons to go with him! But it seems like nobody wants to go with him, he asked basically every toon in the building but everyone was busy or just flat out refused!
‘’ Guess this ticket just has to go to waste..’’ Finn said to himself as he walked out of his room, preparing to just go by himself, but as he looked up he saw Shrimpo! Well, he hasn’t asked him yet! though he knows Shrimpo will certainly reject his offer. But it’s worth a try right?
‘’Hey! Shri-‘’ ‘’WHAT DO U WANT?!’’’ Shrimpo quickly cuts him off, yelling, as always. Finn knew this was a bad idea.
‘’Well.... I have an extra ticket to the aquarium!’’ Finn exclaims excitedly. ‘’I already asked everyone else but nobody wants to come!’’ shrimpo scoffs at that. ‘’What? So you ask me last? What makes you think I, SHRIMPO, want's to go to an aquarium with YOU of all toons?!’ I HATE AQ-!’’ He watches as Finns once excited happy expression falls, still smiling but obviously upset, as if he’s attempting to hide it between that stupid cute smile of his. He hates how he hates seeing the fish bowl sad. ‘’ Ah, well I should’ve excepted that! I’ll just go by myself, see you lat-‘’ Finn attempts to say, before being cut off, again.
‘’WELL I HAVE NOTHING BETTER TO DO!, S-SO ILL GO TO THAT STUPID AQUARIUM WITH YOU, BUT JUST BECAUSE I HAVE NOTHING BETTER TO DO! GOT IT?’’ Finn immediately perks up at that his eyes lighting up and everything, ‘’Really?? Well then let’s go!’’ He exclaims before grabbing shrimpo by the hand and practically sprinting towards the aquarium. ‘’ WHUH?! HEY WAIT UP-! IM NOT THAT FAST!’’ Shrimpo yells, Finn laughing in response, which causes Shrimpo the crack a small smile too, which he quickly replaces with a scowl, not wanting Finn to see that he made him laugh

As the two walk through the aquariums Finn progressively seems to get weirdly quiet, according to the shrimp at least, normally when the toon was with someone, he would be excitedly rambling on and on about his fish facts, but today there was none of that, he was just quietly watching the fish, occasionally making a small comment, but that’s it, it was unnerving as much as the shrimp hates to admit it, he enjoys Finns puns and facts, not a lot of toons willingly talk to him, Finn is the only one that actually comes up to him happily, heck, shrimp even willingly came to the aquarium with him! He hates fish! He hates that he cares, hates that he wants to hear his facts, these that he wants the fish bowl to be happy, hates Hates HATES. But he can’t stand it any longer, it’s TOO quiet, he Hates quiet.
‘’You.’’ He says to finn as they sit in a quiet area of the aquarium, there’s not a toon near them, their in the crustacean area, the most unpopular area much to shrimpo's dismay, crustaceans are awesome! He is one after all!.
‘’Huh? is there something wrong?’’ Finn asks, his voice un charlistically quiet. ‘’You, You’re wrong.’’ The sea food says bluntly. ‘’You’re quiet. Too quiet, normally you’d be talking my head off about those stupid fish facts off yours! So what gives?!’’ Finn’s eyes widen at that, quickly looking away from the other. ‘’It’s nothing, I'm just tired. That’s all I'm Finn-tactic!’’ shrimp scoffs at that. ‘’You seriously expect me to believe that?! We are in ur Favrioute place in the whole world and you don’t even seem happy about it! You just look sad! I hate it!!!’’
Finn glances back up at the shrimp. ‘’Shrimp really its- wait how did you know I love the aquarium that much?’’ Shrimpo’s face heats up at that, his cheeks turning bright pink ‘W-WELL YOU NEVER SHUT UP ABOUT T-THOSE STUPID FISH OF YOURS!! O-OF COURSE YOU'D LOVE THE AQUARIUM! IM NOT STUPID! SHRIMPO HATES BEIN STUPID!’’ He stammers, which causes Finn to laugh, the first time he’s laughed in a few hours. Before he sighs.
‘’I just, Im starting to feel like none of the other toons like em you know? I mean, I must be really annoying to you guys, all I talk about are fish facts, they just don’t wanna say it to my face..’’ He doesn’t feel himself start to tear up. ‘’O-only you and glisten express ur annoyance out loud, the others probably feel that way too, they must. I mean who would like and wanna be around a guy that can’t shut up? I should just stop talking to them. To any of you. It would be better for anyone I-if I just-!’’
Finn flinches when he suddenly feels an arm wrap around his shoulder, shrimpo pulling the other closer to him, ‘’S-shrimpo?” Finn stammers, confused, ‘’J-JUST SHUT UP OKAY? JUST…’’ the shrimp sighs ‘’Im really shitty with this comfort stuff so just. Be quiet okay?!’’ Finn nods and just closes his eyes, allowing himself to melt into the touch, tears still streaming down his face as he attempts to wipe them. ‘’…’’ shrimp glances back at Finn before deciding.
‘’Im only offering this once okay?! S-so..’’ He opens his arms, reluctantly offering a hug to the other toon, Finn just blinks, staring up at shrimp in shock and disbelief ‘’ I thought you hated hugs? ‘’ he asks, ‘’W-WELL I DO! I HATE EVERYTHING! I-INCLUDING YOU! But I also hate seeing you look so pathetic so, I guess this may wor-?!?’’ He gets cut off by Finn al but flying into his arms, burying his face into shrimpo's chest, before starting to sob. Shrimpo, not knowing what to do just sits there, before hesitantly starting to stroke the back of the others head, he had seen Rodger comfort toodles like this whenever she was sad, and he didn’t really know what else to try so he just copied their actions,
Eventually Finn calms down, sniffling before pulling away ‘’ Sorry about that, I don’t know what came over me ‘’ he chuckles, still looking sad, but smiling like he’s trying to hide it, ‘’you’re stupid. You know that?’’ The other says.
‘’ Practically all the toons like you, including me sadly. And here you are thinking they hate you! All you do is make dumb fish puns! They wouldn’t hate you for that. Its not like you did anything wrong, unlike me..’’
‘’Oh, thank you..’’ Says the fishbowl. ‘’You know, You’re not bad yourself, you really need to put that though persona away more often! I like you more like this!’’ He smiles before giggling. not noticing shrimp blushing at his comment. ‘’Well, wanna look around more? We haven’t even seen half of the cool fish yet!! They have sharks here too and and—! As Finn continues rambling on and on about all the sea life that’s here, shrimpo can’t help but listen, as much as he hates it’’
The two continue walking around the place together, Finn pointing out all his favorite fish, even getting shrimpo to admit to liking some of them, which makes Finn even more excited,
As the sun sets Finn eventually yawns.
‘’Man I'm tired.. thanks for today but I think we should head back-‘’ ‘’N-no! Wait here for a second!’’ Shrimp quickly says before running off, leaving Finn sitting there confused, after a couple minutes he returns, now carrying a plastic bag. ‘’Whats that for?’’ Finn asks
‘’None of your business! Lets just go..’’ The shrimp replies, quickly walking off, ‘’What?! Hey wait up!!-‘’ Finn quickly says, running over to the shrimp as they walk back to garden view tighter.

As the two walk back, Finn is about to enter his room before shrimp grabs his arm. ‘’Shrimpo? What’s?-‘’ his eyes widen when the other shoves the bag into his arms, he looks inside to see a shark plushie, one the aquarium was selling at the gift shop. ‘’Did, did you buy this for me?’’ Finn asks as he feels his face heat up, along with shrimpo's ‘’W-WELL! I-I!” The shrimp stammers, ‘’I-It was on sale! A-and you one mentioned you liked sharks so-! he quickly cuts himself off as Finn starts giggling, which causes the shrimp to let out a chuckle as well, both of them laughing now. Before Finn stops, kissing the shrimp on the cheek, which causes the shrimp in question to freeze up, his face turning bright pink. ‘’Thanks for today, see you t-tomorrow!’’ Finn quickly says before stepping inside and shutting the door, leaving Shrimpo standing there, stunned.

As the two lay in their respective rooms that night, Finn hugging the shark plush while dreaming about shrimpo. While the shrimp in question lies awake, unable to stop thinking about the stupid fish bowl he now has a crush on.
