“Urgh.”
In front of Sebastian was his worst nightmare.
His stomach churned even thinking about it, his mind wracking a way to get out of the inevitable, the thing he didn ’t want to vocalize if he didn’t want to, yet nothing came out of his mouth while bile formed on his tongue.
“Hey, don’t be impolite.”
Sebastian turned his head to look at his half-sister, cringing, wondering how she couldn ’t understand what was currently in front of him was such a nightmare.
“The Weasley family is being nice and hosting us at their farm, right?” Maru said. “So we should…”
Sebastian didn ’t hear the rest as he looked at the eggnog, the nightmare of all nightmares, yet he couldn’t argue with Maru either; somehow, she managed to find the last word. “ No. I know how she does it. I am horrible at communications, so … ”
He drank the nightmare.
And instantly regretted chugging down the nightmare, his stomach not liking the concoction as he thought, plus—
—alcohol—
Sebastian wanted to let out a groan and kept his mouth shut, his stomach grumbling as he did so; nobody seemed to notice he wasn ’t…
“Are you alright?”
Sebastian waved his hand, unsure of which Weasley asked him the question.
“Hey, mum? I don’t think…”
It became a blur.
The evil concoction refused to stay down and ended up on the floor of the Weasley family farm, and his head spun while Maru—
Maru wasn ’t happy.
But then Maru, despite being a nurse, didn ’t know .
A ringing in his ears and—
He felt a cold rag on his forehead, covering his eyes as he breathed in and out. And somewhere, somehow, he muttered, “Sorry.”
“Don’t be,” the Weasley family matriarch said. “You should have let us know you weren’t feeling well, and we could have postponed the celebrations, right?”
“It’s not quite…” Sebastian frowned, then let out a sigh. “I’m actually allergic. To eggs.”
There came a silence, and he felt bad that they didn ’t know, but then—
“So your sister doesn’t know that you’re allergic to eggs.”
“Rather embarrassing,” Sebastian answered Ginny, the youngest and only girl.
“Not really,” she said. “But then none of us have allergies?”
“It’s Maru. She tends to make a big deal about everything.”
“Well,” Ginny sat on the couch, causing him to flinch, the closeness unexpected.
“I’m a grown-ass adult, so I shouldn’t be…”
—aka, reacting to a girl—
“It means you’re stuck here for a bit, right?”
“And?”
“You aren’t dating anybody?” she asked.
Sebastian frowned. “Uh…”
“He always dances with Abigail at the flower dance in the Spring,” Maru inputted.
Mentally, he wanted to strangle Maru, as he and Abigail weren ’t dating.
Although he ’d barely met the Weasley family, which felt—
It felt odd, but then they ’d been…
The farm felt warm, a nice kind of warm he ’d not thought he’d like, given how much he loved the cold of winter.
The youngest, who was around his age, the redhead, was rather cute, and yet her brother Ron kept talking about her past boyfriend, seeming rather disappointed things didn ’t work out. From what he heard, things hadn’t worked out for Ron and his girlfriend either.
The alcohol wasn’t helping either, hence why he avoided alocohal in general.
