Chapter Text
I stood in the mosh pit, everyone was jumping around and bumping into one another. It RUINED my messy bun… no big deal though because I wasn’t like the other girls. I never cared about looks or anything like that…. I was more bothered because I was trying to read. And I was worried about my edition of the communist manifesto getting ruined. Ugh. I can’t believe I agreed to come here….
As I tried to concentrate, I heard people murmuring things “oh my god, is she reading? So weird” “Image buying tickets for £300 on dynamic pricing and then reading thru the whole thing” ugh. Simpletons. I’m not like them, I’m a quirky kind of girl.
suddenly, the music stoped abruptly, my heart jittered like crazy for a reason I can’t understand. The guitarist, who had beautiful hair and was wearing a leopard print blouse that hung off his stature sexily looked into my deep emerald orbs. We locked eye contact. He began to approach me, furrowing his eyebrows. My eyelashes fluttered as I glanced up to him. God I hope he won’t comment on my perfect breasts or my beautiful flawless skin or my smooth silky hair I’d hate yo look like a groupie… I’m not like those other girls you see.
”hey? Are you reading right now?” He asked, curiously.
“yes. I am actually. Maybe your band should play better songs” I replied, standoffishly. Denying him the satisfaction of my embarrassment. Not like those other girls who would probably throw themselves at him at any opportunity. The crowd booed me but I didn’t care because I wasn’t afraid of being unpopular like those other girls
surprisingly, he chuckled “I’ve never seen anyone reading at our concerts before- hey is that the communist manifesto?”
my heart stopped that minuet. God. He knows what the communist manifesto is? Maybe he isn’t just some all looks no brains rockstar….
“y- y- you know what the communist maefesto is?” I mumble, looking up at him with my wide gleaming forest orbs as I flutter my eyelashes shyly
“it’s my favourite book!” He replied, smiling at me “hey, I like a girl with Brian’s, you’re not like those other girls who only care about looks and nothing else. Why don’t you come backstage later?”
my heart pounded in my chest. He was attractive and I couldn’t deny it. I gulp. “Y- yes”
“What’s your name?” He asked, furrowing his brows
“y/n……… what’s yours?” I stutter, more enamoured by him every second
“hahah! You don’t know my name? That’s the first person I’ve ever met at a show who doesn’t know my name- it’s Richey, Richey Edwards” he laughed, shaking his head “I’m like the most famous guitarist in rock”
“really?” I looked down, embarrassed “oh… I only listen to underground music like Taylor swift….”
“I actually love Taylor’s music.” He exclaimed “it’s so powerful I can feel it coming inside me! You should definately meet me backstage so we can discuss it” he said, before backing off to play another somg
and that was the day my fate was sealed…. This is the story of how became a vampire rocker princess of hell. And boy are you in for a ride over the next few chapters…….
