Introduction
A surprising amount of the History of the Galaxy in the second half of the Twenty fourth century can be tied to a handful of ships and one space station. For all the Voyages of the USS Yamato or pivotal role of men like JP Hanson in shaping Starfleet. We will focus on just a handful of tales
The Enteprise-D. From it's much lauded launch to its troubled voyages to its eventual destruction and its successor, the Enterprise-E
Deep Space Nine. “Starfleets trash heap”. a do nothing space station that changed the galaxy.
The USS Voyager. Starfleet’s best hope for expanding the Federation
The distant Voyages Of the USS Protostar and it's crew of rogues, Terrorists and criminals
And finally the USS Cerritos. How the most unassuming ship would save the Federation
So lets start in 2364 with the Launch of the Enterprise-D. One of Starfleets new Galaxy class ships. The new great adventure for Starfleet. To boldly go where no-one has gone before. For such a lauded and important mission Starfleet sought out one of their most experienced, respected Captains
