As Seungmin sat on his desk, he looked outside for inspiration. He was stuck on what to make his song about. It was 2am in the morning and he had nothing down on his paper other than a sketch of a baseball mit. It was pitch black with no one around him creating an unsettling environment. He was so stressed about going on tour in a few months and with all their recent comeback shows he was barely getting time to breathe. The rest of the members were at the dorm eating dinner while he decided to stay back and work on his lyrics. He recently had a fight with Minho and was in no mood to talk with him. Seungmin decided to skip dinner again and hed back to the dorms his stomach grumbling for food.
He woke up in the morning to drink coffee and immediately need to puke. Unfortunatley, all the members crashed in the his and felix's dorm last night so the dropping of the cup leading them to wake up as he sprinted to the toilet. Seungmin finished his stuff and washed his hands and face.
Damn I look like shit
He walked outside, the members looking concerned. Felix being the overly affectionate member he is started bombarding him with questions including the one he dreads, "Did you skip dinner again?" Of course he answers no, trying to escape. But Felix is the only one not fazed by Seungmins answer being the member that is the most observent. Felix drags him to another room while telling everyone else to go to their own dorms as him and Seungmin were sleeping in. Seungmin unfortunately has a soft spot for him so there was no avoiding the cuddle session.
After an hour or so, Felix softly wakes him up.
"Seungie wake up"
"hmm.. Give me a sec"
Seungmin got up and sat facing Felix
"Why are you looking at me like that" Seungmin spoke with a drowsy voice
"You know I hate when you lie to me that you eat, you're stressing about the comeback and something else that I can't figure"
"I hate when you act like my mom." he paused, "It's him again we had a fight because he was provoking me when I was in a bad mood. Now I can't focus because I feel bad for snapping at him because he looked genuinely hurt"
"Why don't you talk to him then, you know he would never miss a conversation with you. You think he hates you but I think that he just is scared."
"I can't look at him, I'm scared Lixie" Seungmins eyes held fear in them
Felix knew Seungmin was holding back tears, so he did the one thing that would make him break, "Come here Seungmin"
The moment Felix's arms were wrapped around him he started crying, not just small tears but full hiccuping sobs. The stress was too much for him, and having a fighting with the man he was in love with, was an excellent cherry topper.
Fast forward to dance practice, Seungmin was feeling nauseous and he need to go sit on the side. But then again he was able to nail the choreography. Being the perfectionist he is he didn’t want to stop. During their 5th run through for the day his eyes started getting blurry. Before he fell down, Hyunjin caught him noticing something was off.
“Seungmo wake up” he said softly in fear
Seungmin opened his eyes and looked up at Hyunjin.
”Kim Seungmin what the heck was that, you’ve been slacking off on practice the entire day” Minho commented
Seungmin looked like he was going to burst into tears. Felix made a face at Hyunjin and Hyunjin wrapped him in his arms so the Seungmin could hide in his shoulder. Felix walked over and covered his ears after Chan instructed him too.
”LEE MINHO YOU DO NOT SPEAK TO ANY OF THE MEMBERS LIKE THAT” Chan exclaimed
Minho dropped his head in shame but didn’t say anything.
Seungmin looked up and spoke, “It’s okay Channie hyung, let’s just finish dance practice”
Chan the ever loving person he is dragged him in protest and let Seungmin hug him. Seungmin was always afraid of affection but Chan could see right through him. No matter how much he teased him, he knew that his older brother would be there for him. Seungmin continued to shake in Chan's arms, his hiccups reducing slowly. He managed to mumble the words,
"Hyung, I love him so much it hurts"
Chan patting his head, "I know you do Seungmo, it hurts me to see you this hurt"
They stay in the embrace for sometime before they go back to practice. There Minho avoids eye contact and as soon as they are finished, he sprints outside. Seungmin and his ever so caring heart worries for a second but Han pulls him away before he moves a step.
"Kim Seungmin you are not going to go after him until he apologizes. I love you and your sweet self but you cannot let him use you like this"
Seungmin didn't want to protest, but he did know that he was hungry. With his puppy eyes he says, "Hannie, my favorite singer, can you buy me some Kimbap?"
"Now that's what we're talking about. That's the Seungmin I know" Han peppered his face with kisses
Seungmin and Han had a great relationship. Not one like him and Felix, where silence was the best thing. Not him and Bangchans older and younger sibling concept. But one of them being each others favorite singer, Han being his number fan. Although Han may seem to be the closest to Minho, no one adores Seungmin as much as he does(not even Minho but don't tell him that). And if someone hurts his boycrush, they are faced to meet his wrath. We all know what is going to happen to Minho after Han went out for dinner with Seungmin.
"Yah Lee Minho" Han barged in the dance room
Minho was on the side with his head in his hood curled up and when he looked up at Han there were swollen eyes staring up at him. Han pitied him for a few seconds, but realized that he brought this upon himself.
"You can't stay silent now, not after you've hurt the love of your life. And don't tell me that you don't love him cause that's bs"
"What am I supposed to say, do you know how hard it is to have loved him since our debut days, but not being allowed to be with him because of the company?" Minho cried out, "You would never understand how much I want to hold his hand and kiss him in public, but I can't even be nice to him on stage"
"Go tell him this, keep it to yourself all these years is not just hurting you, its hurting him as well. He loves you so much, anything that you do makes his eyes shine so bright like you're the reason he exists."
"I'm so scared I messed up, I've been under so much pressure. I got called to the office the other day, ya know?"
shit, Minho must be so scared Han thought, "You didn't, but you will if you keep on doing this to both you and him. So go get your man"
Han thought this was a horrible decision, but so be it. He wants the two of his best friends to be happy. Minho sprinted out of the room and went to their dorms. Contrary to usual, he found a peaceful Seungmin asleep. He sat next to the bed and put his head on it and ended up falling asleep on the cold floor. Around an hour later he is woken up by Seungmin.
"Hyung, why are you on the floor?"
Upon hearing his love's voice for the first time in a while he bursts into tears, "Minnie, hyung is so sorry. I didn't want to hurt you I've had so much stress I ended up bursting all my anger on you", he said between hiccups
Seungmin's eyes looked glossy as well, "Come here hyung" as he pointed to his bed
Minho stood up and laid down behind Seungmin and wrapped his arms around him. This was the peace he had missed for year. The stupid concept ruining everything from holding hands at the end of concerts to showing affection with his favorite boy. Minho is not the cold man he portrays himself on stage, but someone who has been used by the employees and hurt till the point he is broken. At the end of the day, he only needed Seungmin, but that was taken away from him as well.
Minho opened his mouth and said, "From now on screw the company, I am going to hold your hand, hug you on stage and play with you just like every other member, to hell with the concept"
Seungmin grinned at this, "I love you hyung, and in a romantic way if you're a bit slow"
Minho bit his shoulder saying, "Yah respect me" after a short pause he says "I love you more Kim Seungmin" and places a small kiss on his neck. He was finally with the man he loved and Seungmin was finally in peace. Of course they were still fighting as cats and dogs, but the enviornment around them was filled with love. They both hoped they would run thorugh time together.
