Work Text:

It was the end of December and, like every year since he’d met the family, Rintarou stayed the holidays at the Sakusa-Matsukawa household. He started doing it when his sister moved to France, leaving him with their dad. Their father wasn’t big on celebrations and spent most of them working, which left Rintarou alone at Christmas. He really didn’t mind, it was quiet and peaceful but then he met Kiyoomi, and he wouldn’t have it. Since that moment they shared their first words, the man had made sure to have an invitation ready for Rintarou every year.

And like every year, Rintarou arrived with his packed bags on the twenty third, ready to help with dinner preparations and to enjoy some good music and drinks. He and Kiyoomi tended to have a little too much to drink, which meant embarrassing themselves in front of everyone they shouldn’t and left them laughing about it the next few days.

All in all, Rintarou loved Christmas and was always looking forward to spend them with his newfound family.

It was the twenty-eighth now and –after a couple of wild festive days– they started planning the party for new year’s. It would be a big one that year, every family member would be there, close work colleagues, old family friends and not so friends but good business opportunities, so they were in the kitchen, organising the drinks and meals that were to be served.

“But I don’t want to,” Rintarou complained pathetically to his friend. “Isn’t there any way that we can skip on the suits? I know you don’t want to wear one either.”

“Tempting, but I promised Kaori,” Kiyoomi said, taking out the bottles out of the boxes.

“Kusa, my friend, my soulmate.” Kiyoomi grimaced at that. “Why the fuck would you do that?” Rintarou asked, voice filled with fear. “That’s like selling your soul to the devil.”

“Oh, shut up,” Kiyoomi waved him off. “As if you’re not her favourite already.”

“And I hope that lasts till the day of my death.” In reality, Rintarou had stopped being scared of the eldest Sakusa sibling years ago but some things would stay the same. “If I ever wrong her, please kill me. Any death would be better than the weight of her wrath.”

“Aww, that’s right,” a softer voice said from behind them. “See, Tarou, I’d be offended, but the fact that you’re scared of me fills me with great joy.” Kaori turned around and left more boxes on the counter, Rintarou mouthed the word evil in Kiyoomi’s direction, taking a laugh out of the man. “Besides, the suits are a must. Not only all of our associates are joining, but Toya’s boyfriend is coming too, and he’s bringing both his brother and his mum to meet the family.”

Rintarou was about to complain a bit more, just to try and see if he could convince the woman but then those final words settled in.

“Wait, did you say Toya’s boyfriend?” Kaori sighed and left, without giving an answer, turning to Kiyoomi he insisted, “Kaori! Did she say Toya’s boyfriend?”

“Yeah.” The man looked somehow sheepish and it was not a good look on him. “He's been dating someone for a while now.”

“WHAT?! For how long?! Why didn’t you tell me? Why didn’t any of you tell me?” Rintarou was shocked, he didn’t understand how he'd missed such a big piece of information, and right after coming up with a plan to confess and ask him out.

“Hey, I'm sure that–” Kiyoomi started, only to be interrupted.

“Hey, I’m home!” A voice rang over the kitchen as Matsukawa Issei came into the room.

“MATSUN YOU PIECE OF SHIT,” Rintarou screamed as he made his way to the man.

“What have I done now?” He asked in more of a yelp than real words, right before making his escape to the living room, only to trip with the sofa, which gave Rintarou the chance to jump on him.

“He found out Toya is dating that boy,” Kaori answered, walking past them, arms holding another box.

“And why is that my fault?” Issei barely said as Rintarou tried to smother him with a pillow.

“Because.” Push. “I was telling you.” Smack. “How I planned to win him over.” Crack. “And you didn’t tell me.”

“Not my fault you don’t pay attention to anything apart from his face, you simp.” Another smack. “Ouch, that hurt. Kiyo get him off!”

“I don’t think I will, this sight is very entertaining.”

“Wow, what a great brother,” Issei replied.

“Shut up, you were picked up from the trash, you don’t get an opinion,” Rintarou interrupted and Issei shook him off to the side, finally finding the opportunity to stand up and hide behind Kaori.

“I wasn't,” he fought and looked at his siblings. Kiyoomi and Kaori were surprisingly silent, and Issei looked at them betrayed. “Guys, I wasn’t picked up from the trash.”

Kiyoomi and Kaori ignored the scene in front of them and went into the kitchen, grabbing a few glasses and one of the stored wine bottles.

The evening ended with several glasses of wine and with Rintarou laying on the sofa, head resting on Kaori’s legs, her right hand playing with his hair and legs sprawled over Issei, who complained at first but still laid his hand over Rintarou's knee. Kiyoomi on the other hand was sitting on a couch on the other side of the room, avoiding contact as much as he could.

“Don’t you think you’re being a little bit dramatic?” Issei asked out loud, which earned him a pinch to the side from Kaori and a loud sigh from the man lying on them.

“I thought he liked me back that’s all,” Rintarou confessed, way too honest.

“I thought so too, I was shocked when he told me he had a boyfriend,” Kiyoomi said, he looked guilty, upset over hurting his friend’s feelings.

“It’s fine,” Rintarou said. In the end, he couldn’t blame anyone else but him. “At least I only have to see them at the party,” he finished raising his glass to the air.

“Actually,” Kaori said with a grimace, breaking the sad cheering. “They’re coming tomorrow, they’re staying the weekend.”

Tomorrow.

That was what Kaori had said the night before, which meant that Motoya was coming home that same day, and not only Motoya with his sweet smile and pretty eyes. No, his boyfriend was coming too.

Rintarou didn’t know how to feel exactly, on the one hand he had no reason to be upset, Motoya was his own person and he didn’t owe anyone an explanation but on the other hand and as he had first stated, Rintarou was a petty person and he would be sulking all the time.

“If you keep looking at everyone like that he’s going to know something is wrong,” Kiyoomi said, siping at his wine like an obnoxious prick.

“You lie in the bed you eat in or whatever,” Rintarou replied, so eloquently.

“That’s not how the saying works at all and you know it,”

“Shush, don’t be rude to your broken hearted best friend,”

“I’m selling you at the new year’s benefic auction.” The sound of the doorbell travelled through the house. “Look, your nemesis is here.”

Kaori ran to open the door while Kiyoomi and Rintarou stayed in the kitchen, looking at her expectantly. Motoya’s voice was the first thing they heard, as cheerful and excited as always when introducing his guests to Kaori, after a few seconds they spent greeting each other, they finally made their way inside the house. They didn’t notice Kiyoomi and Rintarou, which was fine, that gave them time to ogle before meeting.

“The mum looks nice, make you want to hug her don’t you think?” Kiyoomi whispered when she showed up over the doorway.

“The day I see you hug someone is the day the world ends.”

“Ha, ha funny,” Kiyoomi said dryly, going back to his wine.

Then something incredible happened, two men showed up behind the mum, twins by the looks of it, one of them blonde and the other had a kind of pale gray hair colour. Before they could talk shit about them the blonde looked their way as if feeling their stares and spotted Kiyoomi and Rintarou.

The man was shocked at first but after he’d recovered he waved, while wearing the biggest brightest smile in all existence. Someone smiling at them wouldn’t be such a big moment if Kiyoomi hadn’t straight up choked on the wine, spilling it all over himself.

“I can’t believe you, that’s the enemy right there,” Rintarou said genuinely offended while his friend fought for dear life. “That’s what you get for betraying me.”

“What do you mean? I haven’t done anything,” the man said, letting out a few last coughs.

“Don’t play innocent, I know you as if I had birthed you, you like that blonde twin.”

“No, I don’t,” Kiyoomi replied way too fast to be truthful.

Rintarou wanted to pick on him a bit more, not to be mean but to enjoy more of that flustered side of Kiyoomi, –it wasn’t everyday that the man found someone attractive enough to choke–, but Kaori let out a roar unlikely of a high etiquette family like the Sakusas.

“KIYO, TAROU, MOVE YOUR ASSESS TO THE LIVING ROOM, WE HAVE COMPANY.”

“Coming!” Kiyoomi said back, impressed at the –not really– lack of manners his sister had shown in front of new people. She only ever acted that way with close family members.

“What the hell?” Rintarou mouthed to his friend, who sent him a confused look.

They were all sitting by the fire, Kaori had made tea and taken out some sweets that were stored there for visits. Motoya looked healthy and happy, surrounded by people who seemed to love him. He was purely glowing under the fire, giving his eyes a new shine that took Rintarou’s breath away.

“This is my brother, Kiyoomi and that is Rintarou, he’s like another brother to us.” Rintarou felt his heart warm up at Kaori’s words. “Issei will be home soon, he has some business to take care of.”

“That sounded so formal dear, we’re all family here,” the older woman said, she had a sweet smile, not any of that wickedness the blond twin had moments before. “I’m Misaki, very pleased to meet you boys. These are the banes of my existence, my sons Atsumu and Osamu.”

“Nice to meet you ma’am,” Kiyoomi and Rintarou said at the same time. Misaki smiled gently but the twins let out a snort and a chuckle behind her.

 “Ma’am, that’s a new one,” Osamu said.

“Yeah, mama. Don’t ya think it suits ya, a sophisticated older woman like ya,” Atsumu added but Misaki didn’t lose her smile at her son's antics.

“Remember boys, I brought you into this world,” she answered with a smile, she looked terrifying. “So tell me, Kaori, what do you need us to do? The boys are strong. I'm sure we can make them work.”

“Well, there are many boxes that need to be brought up and ornaments to hang.” Both women laughed as they bonded over bullying the younger men.

See, Rintarou had never thought of himself as a great person, but he wouldn't consider himself a bad one either. Apparently, Karma worked in mysterious ways, and those ways led Rintarou to the basement with none other than Osamu Miya.

Rintarou wanted to hate him with his whole being, he wanted to see him trip and fall on his ass but Osamu was charming. Not only charming, he was charismatic and funny and Rintarou was weak, but as he mentioned before, he was a petty man.

So, Rintarou spent all the time in the basement giving the man the silent treatment and trying very hard not to laugh at any of his jokes. It wasn’t until Rintarou tried to carry a really heavy box that he broke.

“Let me help ya over there,” Osamu said when he saw him struggle. “I dont want Miss Sakusa to torture me because I’ve let ya break a finger.”

“Do you mean Kaori? Did you just call her Miss Sakusa?” He asked, choking on a laugh.

“Yeah,” he replied, shy and sweet. It was cute and Rintarou wanted to rip his hair out. “She kinda scares me.” Osamu looked at him, pondering a thought before he begged, “Please don’t let her know.”

“Oh, she knows already,” Rintarou said with a wicked smile, completely amused. “She feeds off of it.” Osamu whined pitifully, almost like a puppy. “Come on big boy, use those arms for something.”

“I need you to kill me,” Kiyoomi said when he entered Rintarou’s room. “If you’ve ever cared for me please, kill me.” After that he fell on the bed, face buried in the sheets.

“Sure, why?” Kiyoomi looked up at him, horror painted on his eyes.

“Miya.” Rintarou couldn’t do anything else but burst out laughing. “I hate you.”

“Oh man,” he said when he was done laughing. “You are whipped.”

“I am not. He’s annoying and he’s getting on my nerves.”

“I never thought Miya Atsumu, one of the danger twins, would be the one to tame you.” Rintarou was truly impressed.

“We just met them, no one is taming anyone.” Kiyoomi fought.

“Yeah sure,” Rintarou said, doubtful. “What did he do then? That got you on your nerves.”

“He calls me Omi.”

“No way, do you want me to call the police?” Rintarou said, faking worry. Kiyoomi’s glare could’ve killed a lesser man. “Okay, sorry. What else annoys you about him?”

“The way he speaks, his accent.” On that Rintarou could agree, that accent was way too enticing. “And his smile.”

“Kusa, just go make out with him.”

“Ew,”

“Don’t ew me, just do something about your crush so you can go back to helping with mine.”

“Toya already has a boyfriend. I don't know what you want me to do.”

“I don’t mean Toya,” he said, in a low, almost indecipherable, voice.

“No way,” Kiyoomi said, standing up completely while Rintarou just hid himself under a pillow. “You’re kidding.”

“I wish man,” Rintarou needed this holiday to end. “I really wish.”

“You’re so fucked.”

“No shit.”

They fell into a deep silence, thinking about how they would manage to live through the weekend. Kiyoomi seemed to be thinking deeply about something, his frown told Rintarou that whatever that thought was, they needed to prepare themselves. After some deep breathing, Kiyoomi finally uttered the words.

“What are we going to do, then? They’ll be wearing suits.”

Rintarou cried out loud, wondering what he’d ever done to deserve this.

“Toya, do you have my wallet?” Kiyoomi asked out loud, he sounded annoyed and breathless after running around the house.

“Kiyo, why would I have your wallet?” He asked, as innocent as someone could sound.

They were getting ready to show Misaki and the twins around town, they usually had Christmas’ spots and food stands, it was a sweet tradition the people that lived there had. It was so well liked that it'd become a cultural spot and many tourists came to see the Christmas fair. They were actually supposed to be out now, the cars were ready and everyone was waiting but the very organised Kiyoomi had lost his wallet.

“It’s fine Omi-omi,” Atsumu said with a knowing smile on his face, which Kiyoomi of course didn’t see, because he was still looking in the drawers to find the damned thing. “I’ll pay for whatever ya need, take it as a treat for such a warm welcome.”

Rintarou had to admit it was a really funny sight.

“In your dreams Miya,” Kiyoomi said, Rintarou could be a good friend and say where Motoya had placed the item but said man was looking at him with begging eyes and Rintarou was weak. Besides, he felt like this would be a good opportunity for Kiyoomi.

“Toya, stop playing.”

“I don’t have it,” Toya said, bewildered at his cousin’s distrust. “Why is it so hard to believe?”

“We’re gonna be late, dear. Just let my son pay for you, he’s an athlete, he has enough money,” Misaki said, and Kiyoomi couldn’t say no to the look in her eyes.

Rintarou chuckled at the way they all had managed to make Kiyoomi go on a date with Atsumu without him knowing. He was too proud to admit it, but it was clear in the way he blushed when Atsumu put an arm around his shoulders while he made fun of him. Atsumu’s other hand, leaving the lost item on the dresser that stood by the door.

It didn't take too long to arrive to the fair, only a twenty minute drive and it took even less to drag the Miya family into a Sakusa family tradition.

“So, this is a family tradition we do every year,” Motoya started as Issei shook a few bits of paper in a box. “It’s a secret Santa kind of thing, it’s always the five of us, but this year we want you to join. It’s more fun when there’s more people.”

“Ain’t that right,” Issei added. “It’s a special secret Santa though, we try to make the most thoughtful but ugliest present and we decide on a winner by the end of it.”

“Last year’s winner was Kaori, she got me a body pillow, it had tiny pictures of our faces printed on it,” Kiyoomi said before he clarified, “I suffer from nightmares, that’s the thoughtful part.”

“That’s golden,” Atsumu said with a laugh.

“If I get you I’m getting you a-shirt that says shitface,” Osamu said to his brother, making everyone laugh.

“Eat shit,” was Atsumu’s smart reply.

They quickly chose their names. Rintarou got Issei as his giftee and he was sure Kiyoomi had got Atsumu as his, if his face was anything to go by. He’d seen corpses with more colour on them.

After that was done everyone made their way through the fair. Kaori showed Misaki around, with Issei following right behind. Atrsumu had stolen Kiyoomi away, adamant on winning him over on their secret date.

Which left Rintarou with Motoya and Osamu and a very loud and uncomfortable silence.

“So, where do we go first?” Motoya asked.

“I want to see the food stalls, that alright with ya, angel?”

“Of course,” Motoya answered with hearts coming out of his ears. “We could go to that stand, you love Rin.” Motoya looked back at him, that look he’d sent his boyfriend still there and Rintarou felt his heart melt.

“Yeah,” Rintarou said, breathless. “It’s right this way,”

They walked around, seeing the stalls and trying different types of really good food. It was fun, and the uneasiness he'd felt before was nowhere to be seen.

Rintarou really couldn’t blame Motoya for falling in love with Osamu Miya at all. The man was truly a sight, handsome as hell and built like a house, he wanted nothing else than suffocating between those arms. Osamu was smart, funny, charming and really –really– beautiful.

Then there was Motoya, with his sweet smile and pretty eyes, that mischievous grin that made Rintarou’s heart skip a bit every single time. He thought that being left with the happy couple would be deeply uncomfortable, third-wheeling was never a nice experience. Instead, Rintarou felt like the one being taken out on a date.

Someone really needed to kick him or something because what he was living right then with those beautiful men felt like a dream. Kiyoomi always told him he was too dramatic and that it clashed with his nonchalant personality but Rintarou could swear to the heavens that he was being pursued.

Someone could be hand fed by two people –who were already romantically involved–, so far until he noticed.

“Rin, look at this,” Motoya said, dragging him by the hand he’d been holding for half an hour now –not that Rintarou was counting–. “They look like us!”

Right there on one of the stands, were different animal shaped key-chains, two foxes –one of them gray and the other one a pale ambar tone–, and a white ferret. Rintarou couldn’t see the similarities, but he would never deny Motoya with the look he was giving him. He looked so sweet, it made Rintarou want to kiss him.

But he couldn’t, because Motoya already had a boyfriend.

Said boyfriend was currently standing beside Rintarou, one hand rested comfortably around his shoulder.

He really didn't want to believe it but Osamu and Motoya were holding Rintarou as they spoke about getting matching keychains as if they’d always been meant to be.

In the end, Osamu bought the key chains. Rintarou didn’t have half the mind to protest, the only thought running through his head was how good it felt being surrounded by the two men. How warm his skin felt when they touched him, making the cold winter air vanish.

“I need to tell you something,” both Kiyoomi and Rintarou said at the same time. They’d all met together at the bonfire. The twins were catching up with their mother and Kaori was chatting with Motoya and Issei. Rintarou and Kiyoomi had walked away with the excuse of finding some hot chocolate, with the intent to gossip away from the rest.

“You go first,” Kiyoomi said, rather suspiciously.

“No, you go first,” Rintarou definitely wanted to know.

Thye glared at each other, making it a strange competition where the winner was nowhere to be found, they both would tell their story either way.

“We say it at the same time,” Rintarou bargained and Kiyoomi nodded in agreement. “Okay, one, two… three!”

“Miya kissed me,” Kiyoomi spat out.

“Motoya and Osamu are pursuing me,” Rintarou on his part, said it so fast he tripped over the words.

“What?” His friend asked, confused.

“ATSUMU KISSED YOU?”

“Yes, but it’s not fair, I didn’t get to hear yours,”

“How did it happen? I thought you said he was annoying.” Rintarou’s tone was accusatory, even though he knew from the start.

“Well, he’s charming,” Rintarou nodded, thinking of another certain someone. “And a smooth talker.”

“Yeah, I get you.”

Kiyoomi started at Rintarou intensely, pushing him to spit out what he couldn’t understand before. After knowing about what happened with Atsumu, Rintarou felt embarrassed to admit his suspicions, trying to play dumb but of course it didn't work.

“I think Osamu and Motoya are,” Rintarou looked at both sides making sure no one was listening and whispered the rest. “Pursuing me.”

“W h a t?” he asked, slow and dumbfounded which was fair if he was being completely honest. “Tarou, I’m going to need a thorough explanation,”

Rintarou explained everything that had happened on their little walk around the food stands, from the hand holding to the gift buying and the compliments and the smiles. He didn’t leave anything out, he needed his friend's most honest opinion and a reason to stop fantasizing and just move on. So he finished talking and he waited as Kiyoomi processed the information.

“Yeah, they are pursuing you.”

“Kiyo, I needed you to crush me and not give me hope,” he whined, a bit pathetically.

“You get two new boyfriends without putting any effort and you’re complaining?”

“Shut up,”

They walked back to the group empty handed and they all decided to go back home to rest for the following day. Rintarou noticed the glances that were sent his way and purposely ignored them, trying to make sense of his own feelings before confronting the couple.

The day passed in a blur, Rintarou had spent most part of the day hiding in Kiyoomi’s room. Avoiding everyone seemed like the best course of action because Rintarou really felt like passing out.

At some point in the day, Kiyoomi arrived to his own room with Rintarou’s suit urging to get ready before Kaori came looking for them.

Rintarou didn't know half of the people at the party, he could see his –not blood related– siblings talking to colleagues and sharing drinks. Kiyoomi was by the corner with Atsumu, talking while they waited for the clock to tell midnight.

They’d met two days before and they were already starting the new year together.

Rintarou thought deeply, greeting everyone that came his way and hiding from the people that mattered the most. The last fifteen minutes of the day pressuring him to make a decision. He saw Motoya and Osamu talking by the window, smiling at each other lovingly. Rintarou thought of the day before, how the time they’d spent together had made him feel and made a decision.

“Toya, I need to talk to you,” Rintarou said after approaching the two men. “Well, and your boyfriend.”

“Sure, is everything okay?” Motoya asked, as Rintarou dragged them to the empty balcony.

The moonlight shone, bathing the couple in silver hues that made both men look ethereal. If Rintarou left this conversation with a broken heart he’d be happy to, at least, have contemplated such a beautiful sight.

“Listen,” Rintarou awkwardly said. “I’m really confused about many things.”

“Okay, what things?” Motoya asked, paying the most attention while Osamu stood beside him.

“Toya, why didn’t you tell me you had a boyfriend?” The sadness in his voice didn’t go unnoticed. “I thought you liked me back, I was going to ask you out and then your cousins tell me you’re bringing your date home with his whole family?”

“I'm really sorry Rin, I wanted to tell you but Atsumu saw a picture of all of us and immediately wanted to meet Kiyo. I couldn’t tell him off,” Motoya explained.

“Whatever,” Rintarou was absolutely remembering that in the future. “You show up with your ‘could be a model’ boyfriend, crush my hopes and then you two just treat me as part of the relationship at one of the most romantic places in this town. What the hell is this?”

He was so desperate to know, that way he could go home and cry or he could grab onto this newly felt hope, but he needed things to be clear. He couldn’t deal with the confusion and he sure as hell couldn't wait anymore.

“I didn’t know you liked me back,” Motoya said.

“Ya think I could be a model?” Osamu asked instead.

Motoya sent him a look to make him shut up and stop saying dumb things to then look at Rintarou with the most honest and raw stare he’d ever seen on anyone before.

“You’re not wrong,” Motoya confessed. “I do like you, a lot actually. I thought someone like you would never like me back and I kinda thought you were dating my cousin.” Rintarou grimaced at that, making Toya laugh. Kiyoomi was like a brother to him, even if he was stupidly pretty, dating was never an option. “Then I met Samu, we liked each other. He’s sweet and warm, he makes me feel special.”

“Right,” Rintarou muttered, defeated.

“You make me feel special too, idiot. I just didn’t know it was a possibility. Anyway, Atsumu got it in his head that he wanted to meet Kiyo and I saw the chance because Osamu also wanted to meet you. I’d told Samu about you before we started dating and he was so curious about the boy that had stolen my heart. The moment you two met Samu told me that he wanted you to date us but that you hated his guts.”

“Well, that lasted half an hour,” Rintarou sighed. “You are really hard to despise, I wanted to be petty and jealous but…”

“Samu here is like a puppy and a new chew toy, he picks his favourites and never lets go,” Rintarou laughed at that.

“I’m takin’ many things as compliments here,” Osamu said with a smirk on his face while Motoya whispered: of course you are.

“On a more serious note, Rin. Meeting ya has been a wonderful experience and I would love to get to know ya more. I don’t mind ya dating Toya separately, but it’d be nice if ya developed those feelings towards me eventually.” Osamu breathed deeply. “The thing is, I understand why Toya loves ya, and I’d love to–” Osamu stopped in his tracks when he noticed the looks that he was getting.

Motoya looked ready to punch him and Rintarou’s face was of pure shock.

“What?” Osamu asked, none the wiser.

“You said,” Rintarou kept looking at Motoya and then at Osamu, trying to make sense of something.

“Samu baby,” Motoya said through gritted teeth. “You just confessed my feelings without my consent.”

“Shit, I’m so sorry,” he said, panicking.

“It’s fine, I love you too Toya,” Rintarou confessed in a moment of vulnerability. “And I would love to get to that point with you too, Osamu.”

He was starting to get there anyway so it wouldn't be hard.

Rintarou didn’t know how or when, but he felt Motoya grab him by the shirt and kiss him as if it was the last thing he would ever do.

His lips were soft and they tasted like fruit and champagne, making his heart flutter dangerously. He felt Osamu’s wide hand on the lowest part of his back, pushing him closer to Motoya and caging Rintarou, trapping him in a bubble of warmth that rivaled the sun’s. Osamu let them take their time to enjoy the kiss on their own before Rintarou got tired of him just standing there. He pushed himself off of Motoya and dragged Osamu to a kiss as passionate as the one before.

After that, time stopped running, the only thing that mattered were the kisses the three of them were sharing under the moonlight, showered by the colourful fireworks and with the faint sound of people cheering for a new year filled with health, love and happiness.

“Happy New Year,” Rintarou whispered to both of them, a smile painting his features mirrored by other two as wide as his.
