The night was quiet, as the clock ticks little by little.
Kizumi and Es cuddled by the couch, staring at the countdown for new years.
Silent yet calming, nothing felt awkward now, both being able to come to terms with their feelings.
"Kizumi.." Es held Kizumi's hand tightly, "I'm really thankful.."
Tick tock, the clock sang.
"I want to be with you every new years." Their grip tightens on the blondie's hands.
"Es..." Kizumi's heart thumped, their head spins in a circle trying to find the right words.
5 more seconds, an announcement from the phone's alarm, as fireworks started flying admidst the sky.
"I feel the same way too, I love you Es-kun!" Kizumi said with joy.

Es smiled, this time with warmth in their heart, they pulled the blondie closer.

They placed their lips onto the other's, fireworks bloomed, lighting up the dark sky. Both of them lost in this beautiful moment.

After pulling apart, they looked at each other's eyes, finding their own red reflection.
"Happy new year, Kizumi."
"Happy new year, Es-kun"
