The night was sparkling with untold stories as the soft wind with unflorn desires grazed his smooth skin.
Brown starry eyes fluttered open as he eyed the blanket covering him up.
He was nestled in a horde clothes stolen from his (boy) friend’s closet.
Being an omega in an alpha-infested world was never easy.And strike it down double if you are in the entertainment industry. Omegas are considered fragile , meek and soft.
But in the industry where its all about survival of the fittest you have to unlearn all such internal desires.
So, he, Nani Hirunkit Changkham , a first class o m e g a had his whole persona upturned a 180 degree so that he could fit into this world.
So that he could survive.
He was the cool Mj . Always the cool one. Always had to be the cool one.
For one reason : Survival.
There were days where he was sensitive but he could not express it afterall it would ruin the image .
Everything was suppressed and suppressed. All he could do was go home . To his mother. The only one who truly knew his raw persona.
The sweet, soft nani laid beneath all the layers of protection.
They often cried in suffocation of his unending misery. She often wished her dear son could finally be himself one day.
And one day, she truly believed, that he would meet someone. Someone who could protect him, pulling the omega off the facade he wore daily.
And her words couldn't be more wiser. He did meet someone.
His special someone.
Sky Wongravee Nateetorn. The huge clumsy Alpha , nicknamed tsunami.
But he adoringly called him Sku.
They met far back in 2020, when he still had his long raven hair.They had an event together, to be not seen as impolite he was the one to make a first move. The alpha had such a clumsy air around him that made look adorable like a puppy. A small smile had escaped the omega as he observed the clumsy alpha.
When their eyes met, a spark spread through their skin electrocuting them.
Both knew as far back then, there was a certain connection between them.Not knowing what it was they jumped the rope.
Sky was silly , goofy even. He could always bring a laugh out of nani every hour they spend together.
Everyday with alpha made the inner omega in him purr with satisfaction.
He was protective,always keeping the omega off harm’s way. He had a certain way of making the omega feel safe.
Two years went by, it was the time to announce the series of the next year.
Imagine his surprise finding out sky joined the agency he was working in.
And at the same time they had a series for the next year. Together .
His happiness knew no bounds.
He was more than delighted to spend more time with his alpha friend.
The filming had begun, they were closer than ever. They played around, teasing eachother like old friends and found comfort in eachother like family. The set was safe and comfortable with the little teasings and musings of the actors here and there.
If there would was a rumour across the agency about them, the sole blame would on Kay. That happy-go lucky beta had always found it amusing ‘shipping’ them.
But little did the omega know the culprit was all a certain clumsy alpha.
Months went by, the air between the Alpha-omega duo was shifting. Everyone could feel it except the oblivious idiots.
Soon the the series was aired, both of them anxious of the response. Since the world was a boys -love infested no one knew if a bromance series like ‘Highschool Frenemy’ could possibly make it to the top.
Even though the first few episodes were to be considered a flop, when the duo entered the screen the whole world was entranced by their chemistry. The response was that the series sky rocketed, the cast was on the high clouds.
This was a success.
As the series flew towards the top, imminently both Sky and nani were on the radar. Shipper eyes caught their spark and chemistry, a splash of fans emerged from the shadows.
The iminas, originated from a prayer similar to their name. SkyNani.
Nani had slowly begun changing. No. Not changing but the cracks of his facade breaking up. His soft persona had begun to drip through the glass walls. Friends in the industry had begun to notice as well.He had begun embracing his omegan instincts.
In the privacy of their lives, both the parties were begining to realise their feelings for the other.
But in the circle of friendship and love. It is always hard to be one, so they chose to stay in the middle.
Neither confessing but still subtly loving the other person.
But everything seemed break out off the friendship barrier today.
The day of the new year.
The end of the year.
And the day of a sudden heat hitting nani.He had misplaced the suppressants. And now he is in a dilemma , his body heating up, omegan instincts desiring an alpha.
There he was in the middle of the event struggling to breathe,his face flushing a bright crimson.
His gaze fell on the alpha beside him, eyes bright, a face radiating happiness…. he was so handsome.
It was soon their turn to guess eachother’s perfume. His omegan instincts flared up. In a weak instinct of desire, he offered his neck to the alpha a subtle prompt to scent him.
The alpha quickly catching onto the situation, promptly sniffed the air.
A whiff of sweetened rich cherries wafted through his nostrils . The taste licked onto his thirsty throat as he gulped in pure hunger.
His unstable steps took him closer to the omega in heat. He sniffed onto his wrists but as the capacity of the rich cherries was low ,in a flash he directed himself towards the highest zone you could intake the richness .
The scent gland of the neck.
The alpha took a small whiff off his neck. Ecstasy filled his body as he intook the heavenly pheromone , his eyes fluttering close. One sniff. Two sniff. It wasn’t enough . He had to taste him.He had to taste his Omega.
As he was to take a lick of the omega’s pheromones, the screaming of the crowd snapped him out of the trance. He had to stay strong. He cannot waver. Not yet.
Noticing the omega’s scent heightening, he was determined to calm him down. The line between friendship and love was blurring.
“Nani”, he gently whispered to the omega as he held him up.Grabbing him by the waist , he signaled the staffs of the need of a drastic emergency.
He had to take nani home immediately, no matter how stubborn the man was he couldn’t leave him alone.
So dragging the heat stricken omega, which was was not heavy task as he weighted no more than a feather.Riding in the car was the most dangerous task for Sky.
As the omega needed comfort, he oozed his pheromones of dark chocolate hoping it would calm him down.But was he so wrong.
Instead of calming down his cheeks flushed a rouge as his eyes rounded hazy with desire.His brown eyes fluttered close as he wrapped his arms around the alpha’s broad shoulder head melting deep into gland searching for his delightful scent. Sniffing around he climbed onto his sturdy thighs , his body pressed close to the alpha’s body in a craving for undeniable warmth.
Body stiff, sky froze as omega mounted on top of him. Hands trembling he held the omega close by the waist as he took a heavy breath.
“You can do it sky.You can handle it.”, sky encouraged himself in sparse determination as he took the steering wheel to drive back home.
The determination was short lived.
The omega’s luxurious pheromones, warmth of his pressed skin and accidental hip movements made him hard to focus on the road.
Gritting his teeth , he clutched on the steering wheel tightly holding himself from devouring the omega on his lap.
The ride was silent as they traversed through the streets of bangkok, the only ice breaker were the low moans of the older omega.
Sky breathed a heave of relief as they finally reached his home.
Huffing out another sigh, he knew the omega won’t be backing off his lap anytime soon. So he did the only sensible thing he could.Carry him towards his bed.As he picked him off his lap, the stubborn omega protested with a sneer on his cherry lips. Chuckling he patted the omega’s messy locks as he held him by the hips and as a reflex nani locked his legs onto the bigger man’s hips circling his hands over the man’s neck clinging like a koala.
Gazing adoringly at the older he begun his journey to be the caretaker of the day.
All along the walk, the lithe omega never stopped sniffing like a kitten.
Rumbles of purrs escaped his throat as he took a lick off the man’s scent gland. The alpha paused as he felt a slither of a wet tongue feeding of his scent gland.Closing his eyes, taking a deep breath he entered the bedroom.
He took apart the omega a piece by piece with outmost care and gentleness as he whispered sweet nothings. In the midst of the love making , the cloak strike twelve indicating the beginning of a new year. Sky was licking on to the enticing mole on the base of the omega’s throat as he heard cloak strike twelve. He paused on his ministrations confusing the flushed , tear stricken omega.
Smiling gently, he kissed nani softly on his swollen cherry lips .Breaking off the kiss, caressing his soft tussle of locks, he confessed as the light works sparkled the night sky.
Tearing up, the omega who had returned to his consciousness smiled brightly putting the bright fireworks to shame. He responds in the same fervour, words of love escaping his swollen lips. Their lips clashed together in a soft kiss, a promise hanging between the words to forever cherish and hold eachother.
