Unholy Matrimony in the making

Summary:

After the events of Antonbalst and Pizza Tower, Satan and Pizzahead now have their sights on acquiring Antonblast and Peppino Spaghetti.

Chapter 1: Opening

Chapter Text

Time had passed since Anton and Peppino took down their respective foes, and life for them, for the most part, had gone back to normal.

The only thing that was different was the fact they started to date each other. Since Spaghetti's Pizzaria was a place both Dynamite Anton and Annie Bell would often go to for their lunch break, giving the demolition man a chance to get to know the chef alot better, and later they showed their prowess against their foes, eventually letting the sparks fly.

Life couldn't get any better for the two angry sons of a guns.

Well, that was about to change soon.

-----------------------------

Down beneath the depths of the earth, was the kingdom of the Hell itself, which was still recovering from the Satan Switch and the roaring rampage of an angry acholic trying to reclaim his stolen spirits.

Gardens needed to be replanted, homes fixed and rebuilt, and so much more that needed repairs.

The biggest project that had gotten the most attention was the castle, which had to be completely replaced by a new one.

Inside the castle, Satan was sitting on his throne with his beloved Pizzahead, both had met right before they began their schemes and the two fell head over heels in love. However, neither the sadistic pizza nor the red demon were in a jolly mood.

In fact, they had incredibly sour faces while staring in the distance. The minions who represented the seven deadly sins were staring at them from the outside.

None of them dared to talk for a good bit before one of them, Jewel Ghoul, finally spoke up, "So who's going in d'ere to give the big boss the daily report?"

Tallbuster was the first one to protest, "Not me. Going to Satan and not getting potentially turned into a scarf is not on my wish list. Plus, I have more important things to do, like relaxing in my hot tub."

"Well, I'm not going in 'ere, I know da boss is furious at us for lousing the plan up." Jewel Ghoul lit a cigar to steady his nerves. Getting Satan mad at them for failing the plan made him feel nervous.

Ring ding immediately went to dormancy to get out of report duty. Brawlbuster made excuses along with Maulbuster. Freak o Dragon fled to the safety of the Pachinko Machine and his chips.

Which left Smallbuster to give the report.

-----------------------------

"S-Sir?"

The tiny mole squeaked as they entered the throne room, holding the clipboard like a shied as the king of the underworld looked at the sin of Envy, "What is it Smallbuster? How dare you interrupt our brooding session!"

"Ahem, w-well sir, I have the daily report for you."

Smallbuster listed the things for that day: complete repairs for hell percentage, mole training, and all those important things.

Pizzahead was tempted to throw his pipe at this tiny rat, he and the devil didn't give a flying fuck about those things, it was that pizza chef and demo man that haunted their thoughts. Satan looked bored before the inventor spoke of the final item on the list, "And we have your new mirror ready, sire."

Rather than be excited, the magenta demon was annoyed that the mole didn't tell him right away, "You do?! Well, why didn't you say so in the first place? Bring it in!"

Running out of the throne room immediately, Smallbuster and several moles took the mirror straight to the throne room, Satan watching them place it on the wall adjacent to the throne.

Once the mirror came to life, the king angrily told his loyal minions to scramble and leave them be for now.

-----------------------------

As soon as the last Mole was gone, Satan made noises of anger before a new voice spoke out of the mirror, "What troubles you, my lord?"

"OH! It's that Dynamite Anton! He ruined my plans of being the reddest thing on earth! I could've had it all but now.....I have nothing!" Satan's voice had a tinge of sadness as Pizzahead looked in the mirror, "And he's not alone! I had a beautiful tower of pizza, but then that lousy Peppino Spaghetti had to ruin my plans!!"

"And what's worse is, now, we can't stop thinking about them!"

"Thinking about destroying them?"

Satan sighed, "NO! Our thoughts are consumed by being with them, wanting to see them in the castle....."

Pizzahead had shed a single tear, "Holding them close.....longing for them"

"Could it be that you two have feelings for them?"

This stopped the sadness and rage of the two, as they began thinking about what the mirror said: Satan did at times think Anton was delightfully destructive and was good-looking, especially in his Oni form. Pizzahead loved spying on Peppino, and he even made Peppibots along with fake Peppino.

Plus, the king of hell has mused of finding a mate. Pizzahead was an excellent choice but....why stop there?

A devilish smile formed on both of their faces while looking at each other, before turning their attention to the mirror: "Oh great mirror of powerful question-based magic, show us the alcoholic, Dynamite Anton."

The mirror showed Anton enjoying some pizza with his boyfriend in their apartment, unaware of the demon or deranged pizza business executive watching them through the mirror.

After an hour of planning, Satan went to the balcony with his shnookums following.

-----------------------------

"MOLES!!"

All the minions of the devil looked to the balcony where their boss and his boyfriend were, "I demand that you all go to the surface and capture someone that's close to both Antoine and Peppino!"

The moles looked at each other, remembering how this all started because the devil stole his spirits, thus incurring the hammered demolist's wrath, before Pizzahead spoke up as well, "We know Peppino and his boyfriend will come running to rescue them, but that's what we want."

"Once the brave rescuers arrive at the castle, we'll spring our trap with an offer they won't be able to refuse."

"And if all goes to plan, Anton and Peppino will remain here with us FOREVER."

With that, a portal to earth opened, allowing the minions to go out and carry out the orders given by the Devil.

Chapter 2: The capturing

Chapter Text

The sounds of machines and hammers slamming against a wall were heard, along with the sound of explosives being put in place.

It was Anton's favorite type of day; Demolition day! The old theater building was in such a bad state of disrepair and needed to go down, due to the hazards it placed on the city.

"Ah....nothing like the sweet sound of destruction!" Anton swung his hammer at an old staircase riddled with mold and holes, breaking it apart like it was a bunch of toothpicks.

Annie chuckled while she swung at the other staircase, which was just as bad, "You call that destruction? THIS is destruction!" Annie's mace hit the staircase, making it splinter into tiny pieces which were then broken up into smaller pieces.

They didn't know that the Devil's cronies were watching them and waiting for the moment they were vulnerable. So they could begin the plan and finally do away with a major thorn in their side.

Which would come as soon as the lunch break whistle sounded, meaning some of the workers would head off to the bar to have a quick drink, while Anton went to the sub restaurant to enjoy some peace and quiet with his lunch.

After that, it was time to blow up the building.

-----------------------------------

At Brulo's new bar, Annie was enjoying some ballble tea when the lights began flickering before going back to normal.

"What the fuck was that?"

"Did the power surge or something?"

"Wonder if Brulo forgot to pay the electric bill"

Brulo glared at the worker, "I'll have you know I paid the bill last week!" Ms. Bell went back to her tea, finding a ball you would use in a pachinko machine inside of her tea, "What the?! Wait a minute......I've seen this before-"

THUMP!

The workers and bartender looked up at the roof, which shook a little before Freako Dragon peaked into the bar, scaring the workers badly.

Even Brulo went pale with fright, Annie, however, grabbed her mace and immediately ran outside to confront the dragon that was on the bar.

"Hey Freako Nerd! Haven't you seen you since me and Anton knocked you senseless!"

The dragon glared at Bell, "It has been a while, hasn't it? Now if you don't mind, I have a building to add to my ever-growing collection!"

With that, the dragon began pulling up the building to take it. Many workers managed to flee as Annie went on the dragon to smack it senseless again, not knowing that was exactly what the dragon wanted.

-----------------------------------

Gustavo was walking through the city with his faithful campion, Brick, after a successful shopping trip.

Peppino had to deal with the Noise for the upteath time, so it gave the short chef time to get more supplies.

They didn't know that a strange bell was spying on them from the top of the church's bell tower.  Brick started to look tired from all the walking and stopped to catch his breath, "Are you okay?"

"Squeak....."

"Oh you're-a tired huh? Why don't-a we rest on that bench for a little bit, huh?"

Sitting on the bench closest to the tower, the rat just relaxed from walking for an hour straight, not noticing strange spikes coming out of the bottom of the new bell's shadow.

-----------------------------------

"Woag!"

Theodore managed to do a triple spin on his skateboard, getting some sick airtime and landed gracefully. His latest prank on Peppino failed as the chef was ready this time to sick his clone which he named "Bruno" on him. Now he needed to go back to his abode to plan for the next prank against his rival.

The Noise would occasionally glance behind his back in case "Bruno" was still on his tail.

While he was looking behind his back again, Tallbuster, who was reading a newspaper, just casually stuck his long body like a rope. This caused Theo to trip, making him lose his skateboard and tumble into a cage, just his size, "What in the?! Hey, what's the big idea?!"

A deep chuckle came from behind the prankster, as a gem-headed ghoul appeared, smoking a cigar, "Don't you like your new cage?~"

"My cage?!"

The Noise used one of his tricks to try to escape, only to find the cage made out of solid diamonds.

-----------------------------------

It was now the late afternoon as Anton immediately raced home.

When the rest of the workers never returned, the acholic decided to clock out early to head back to the apartment. Though Dynamite Anton kept to himself most of the time, he did have a growing sense of worry about Annie.

When the demo man arrived at his apartment, he found a very worried-looking Peppino holding the phone, "Tonito! Thank-a goodness, you're-a here!"

Anton ran to his boyfriend, "Peppino, what's wrong?!"

"I-It's Gustavo! He's been-a missing since he and Brick went shopping!"

"Holy fuck! Annie and most of the demolition crew went missing as well when they went to the bar for some drinks."

Both Dynamite Anton and Peppino Spagetthi thought about what could've happened to them, as a letter addressed to them was dropped into their apartment.

The anxious chef looked and walked up to the letter, grabbing it. When Anton looked at the letter, he saw a very familiar symbol on the letter and became enraged.

It was the symbol of the devil.

Chapter 3: Deal of a lifetime

Chapter Text

Within the castle, Satan and Pizzahead eagerly waited for the moment the "heroes" would show up to rescue the bait, who were in a cage hovering above the ground. Annie growled at the Devil, who was casually reading a book, "You can't keep us locked up in a cage forever, and the moment we get out here, you two will be goners!!"

Pizzahead looked towards the female demolitionist with an annoyed look, "You know what I want right now?"

"What's that, a brain?"

"No, it's you being QUIET! My schookums is busy reading and I don't want him interrupted~"

Gustavo glared at Pizzahead, "Just you wait until Anton and Peppino get here, then you'll both be sorry!"

Satan looked at the small chef with an evil grin, "Don't you understand, you little pipsqueak? The moment those dashing fellows set foot in the castle, we'll spring the trrrap!"

THUD! THUD!

AAAAAAA!!!

The sounds of muffled screaming from the moles followed by the rapidly approaching sound of footstomps told the two villains that their prizes were already on their way, "Speak of myself, those two didn't waste anytime getting here, did they, my little destructive pizza?~"

Pizzahead chuckled "No my little red devil, in fact....."

He pushed a button, causing a pit or boiling hot magma to open under the cage, causing the prisoners to freak out, "I'd say things are about to get real HOT!"

-------------------------------------------

When the last of the minions were knocked senseless, Anton and Peppino immediately opened the doors to the throne room.

"SATAN!!!"

"Oh joy! There's our favorrrite men in this entire world!" The king of Hell was sitting on his throne with his beau by his side, completely unphased by the fury of both Peppino and Anton possessed.

"Cut the-a formal talk, stupido! What have you done with-a Gustavo and Annie!?"

Pizzahead clicked his tongue, "Temper, temper Peppino. That's no way to talk to my sweetheart here, or to someone about to make you a deal."

Dynamite Anton growled, "We ain't interested in any deal of yours!"

"Oh I know you'll be, especially when it concerns your little frriends!"

Satan pressed a button on the remote, turning a spotlight on the cage with Gustavo, Brulo, Annie, and Theodore poking their heads out of there, the short chef being the first to shout, "Peppino!! You need to run!"

Brulo was next, "Hey! Get the hell out here Anton! It's a trap!!

"Get us out first, pizza breath!" Theo rattled the bars of the cage and Annie had a similar response before Ol'Scratch had enough, and began lowering the cage to make a point, "Well Antoine and Mr Spagehtti, what will it be?"

The acholic snarled before sighing, "Fine, we'll hear out your damn demands! Just don't drop that cage in the lava!"

Satan smirked and stopped the cage, which was closer to the magma.

-------------------------------------------

In the office next to the throne room, Anton looked around the room as he and his boyfriend sat down, "I don't remember there ever being an office here in the castle before"

Pizzahead pulled out a presentation screen and got a projector ready, "It was my idea to put an office in here, so we could have meetings in private and without the prisoners going: Don't do it! You have so much to live for...Oooooh! It's super annoying, ya know?"

The pizza chef sighed, annoyed, "Can-a we get on with this? We still got beat and serve you two as Al Dente"

The projector turned on, with a graph on the first slide, "After your little stunts, our mood was at an all-time low....then my love's mirror told us something we never thought about before until now"

Anton blinked as the slide changed and Satan spoke up, "Before our final fight, Anton, I thought about having a mate. And now I'm ready to have it."

"So why not marry the pizza freak and let the others go?"

Satan and Pizzahead looked at each other before breaking out in a laughing fit. The king slowly calmed down from it, "You don't get it Dynamite Anton, while I do love my sweetheart, he's not the only one I want!"

"What the hell are you talking about?!"

"To put it simply...." Satan changed the slide to a photo of a wedding altar.

Peppino and Anton looked at each other in shock, as Pizzahead finished the sentence, "We want to marry you two!"

-------------------------------------------

Annie tried to see what was happening from inside the cell she was kept in before hearing Peppino shout at the top of his lungs, "WHY-A WOULD WE-A EVER MARRY THE LIKES OF YOU?!?! MARRYING EITHER OF YOU-A WOULD BE LIKE BREAKING SPAGEHTTI PASTA!!"

"THE ONLY WAY WE'D EVER MARRY YOU GREASY SON OF BITCHES IS IF THE WORLD ENDED!!"

Gustavo looked towards the office door, very worried as Pizzahead was heard chuckling, "Now don't be like that, Mr. Spagehtti and Dynamite. Marrying us would be perfect for you two, as we're both powerful and influential."

Mr. Spagehtti snarled, "Not to-a mention, incredibly stupid!"

Satan gave a big sigh, clearly a little annoyed by Anton's and Peppino's fury, "Don't be difficult now. Remember, we still have your pals under lock and key, and with a simple push of the switch, they will be frrried like popcorn shrimp!"

The prisoners felt the cage begin another descent into the lava. The Noise was the first to scream as he saw the lava pit get closer, "Not again!!"

Satan came back in, holding a squirming Anton in while Pizzahead held Peppino, making them look at the cage, which was dangerously close to the pit, "Which is it you two? Marrrying us and having all you could want or letting your fellows become future fossil fuel?"

Anton and Peppino sighed in defeat, knowing there was only one option, "Okay! Okay! We'll marry you two! Just let the hostages go first!"

Pizzahead smiled and stopped the cage from touching the Magma, "Smart choice."

-------------------------------------------

Once the cell was put on to the ground, the moles grabbed the people and loaded them into cannons.

Dynamite Anton and Peppino were still squirming in the devilish duo's grasps as Satan watched the prisoners get loaded into the cannons, "Thank you, it's been a rrreal blast because of your visit. But you all must go for a little while as we have a grrrand wedding to plan for."

Annie was the last to be loaded into a cannon, glaring, "Mark my words Satan, you won't win against this!"

"But as the old saying goes, I have already won!"

BOOM!

The cannons were launched in rapid succession, sending the group of people far away from both hell and boiler city.

Chapter 4: Reslove

Chapter Text

On an island far from the city, the former prisoners landed face first on the silky sand, some being knocked out. A warthog saw the group lying on the ground, going up to them curiously.

Annie was the first to get up and the pig squealed in fright, running back into the bushes. Brick the rat got up next, seeing the hog run into the jungle scared.

"My head......."

Theodore was the third to get up from landing in the sand, "Where'd that blasted Satan send us?" Ms Bell shook her head to reorientate herself, "Looks like we're on some tropical island. It doesn't seem like we can get back easily."

Gustavo got up as the Noise was furiously pacing around, "This is just great! Pizza breath and that over-sized demon has Anton and Peppcreep and we're stranded here!!"  The short chef got up, looking around for something to use, "There has to be-a something we can-a do! We-a can't let them have Peppino and Tontio for themselves!" Theo huffed at Gustavo, "There's nothing here we can use! We can't get back in time!"

"Not-a by giving up!"

They began arguing while Ms Bell tried to block out their squabbles when she noticed something shining in the jungle, "Hey guys! Cut the squawking and come over here"

Once the arguing had stopped, Noise and Gustavo went over to Annie Bell, seeing the shining object close by.

------------------------------------------------------

Satan was giddy as a school girl: he finally found his mates, got rid of the green menace, and now had an entire city to do whatever he wanted with.

Pizzahead was equally excited as he was compiling a list of things needed for the wedding: fine suits befitting royalty, diamond rings perfect for Peppino and Anton, the most delicious meals for the reception, etc etc.

The date of the wedding was decided to be 2 months away.

Which gave the two time to force the labor onto encourage the minions to chip in for the big event.

------------------------------------------------------

Meanwhile, Dynamite Anton and Peppino Spagetthi were being led to their new room by the sin Lust and Wrath after every possible weapon was taken from them.

Jewel Ghoul felt weary standing so close to the demo man, his eyes speaking of untold fury and rage that was itching to get out. Maulbuster felt equally nervous around the pizza chef, who looked like he was about to beat her up at the chance he got.

"And here you are. Your brand new living quarters until the wedding"

Anton looked at the room, first seeing pictures of his royal ass-ness practically everywhere, the round velvet-curtained bed, and the balcony outside the castle windows.

Peppino looked in and then looked back at the sins, "Can-a I make-a suggestion?"

"What is it?"

"Get-a rid of the photos of that inflated-a demon! We don't need-a to see his ego EVERYWHERE" Peppino hissed at Jewel Ghoul, who immediately took the photos out.

After that, the soon-to-be kings of hell were put inside their temporary room and the door was locked.

------------------------------------------------------

"Woag!"

Inside the jungle was an old airplane, most of it was still in tact while some parts of it were completely broken. Brulo looked at it, a smile forming over his face, "This is it! That'll be our ticket off the island!"

While he was amazed at the plane, Theodore was still skeptical about being able to leave, "It doesn't look fully put together and it's not like a convenient or magical way to fix it will just suddenly show up."

Annie nodded, "Yeah, unless we can find tools and a way to power it, we might have to find another way."

Gustavo thought, before he noticed an old hangar with tools and things to fix the plane, "You-a know your-a right Noise, there's no magical or convenient way to fix the plane but I did find a way to fix it!"

The others looked and nodded to themselves.

~Begin building montage~

Annie wasn't as interested in building, preferring to destroy, but helped by dismantling any scraps so they could be extra parts.

Noise often relaxed in the sun, but carried things whenever he was needed.

The rest of the crew hammered, drilled, got the generator going to power the tools, and the warthog from earlier, watched the humans work from a bush.

Brick found materials for homemade paint and a strange glowing blue crystal coming from the ground.

Gustavo stitched the seats and gave them a good washing, as Brulo cleaned the windows.

~End buidling montage~

Soon the plane was ready to fly but they needed a power source, "Anyone find anything that could be used as a way to get the plane moving?"

"Nope."

"The gas was too old to use"

Brick looked at the crystal and put it into the plane's engine. Its glow and power sprang the engines to life, "Brick! Where did you-a find that illuminous crystal?!"

Gustavo had stars in his eyes as Theodore's jaw dropped to the ground, Annie got up to the cockpit, "Who cares? We have a way to get to Boiler City now! So let's hop aboard and give that big pink pimple some payback!"

With a nod, everyone hopped aboard and the plane began its takeoff sequence as the poor warthog got stuck on the plane's wheels as it pulled up.

Chapter 5: Return to Peppino's Pizzeria

Chapter Text

The sound of the airplane was heard coming towards the Pizzeria, Bruno carefully looked out the window, seeing the old aircraft coming towards the restaurant, the clone wasn't sure who it was, since he didn't want any demons taking the thing Peppino worked so hard to protect, that was his restaurant.

So all that Bruno knew was that whoever was on that plane had to be either an agent of hell or some stragglers looking for a place to hide.

Once the airplane landed, Peppino's doppelganger got ready to pounce on whoever dared to land there.

As soon as the engines stopped humming, Gustavo was the first to get off of the plane with Brick. This immediately turned Bruno's aggression into joy, running outside hugging his two companions tightly.

"I mssd yu s much"

"Aw, we-a missed you too, Bruno."

"*Yeah what he said." Brick squeaked out while patting the gooey shoulder of Bruno as the rest of the crew got out of the plane (Including the warthog, who was now very terrified).

-------------------------------------

Once everyone was settled inside the restaurant, Bruno brought them up to speed with what happened.

After the group was launched onto the island, Pizza head gave the big boss of hell the idea to turn Boiler City into part of their kingdom as a "Gift" for Peppino and Anton.

Bruno managed to prevent the area where the restaurant stood from being taken by scaring off both the moles and even the seven sins. Then he used a blessing to prevent any Satanic magic from creeping into the building.

Ever since, the clone had been hoping that some form of help would come along.

After the explanation, Theodore Noise was both shocked and furious. He was shocked that the pile of goop managed to keep the pizza joint safe for this long, but furious that the Devil had the nerve to take their homes.

"Ain't no way I'm letting some overzealous demon take my home!!"

Annie nodded, "Yeah! Satan is going to get it this time!"

-------------------------------------

After everyone had some pizza to steady their nerves, they went outside to see the hellified city in the distance.

Skyscrapers had a reddish tint with hellish architecture around them, a dark red sky was seen, not much light could get in as dark clouds blocked the area and statues of Satan littered the streets.

An advertisement for the wedding was blown in Brulo's face, and the bartender looked on in horror,"Oh poor Anton!" The ad showed a furious looking Anton being held by the devil tipping his crown, while Peppino was next to Pizzahead.

"That son of a bitch!" Annie looked equally furious, getting her mace out of thin air, clearly aiming to use it on the two creeps that did this.

Bruno stopped the demo gal from doing anything brash, "I tred to gt in, bu a satnic ara kept me from goi in."

"A Satanic aura blocking anyone from getting in, huh? Well, perhaps we should find a way to get rid of the aura."

This gave the others an idea: If they could take down each of the seven sins, then it could break the aura preventing them from entering the city.

Chapter 6: First stop: The mountain regions

Chapter Text

In the castle of the devil, the big bad himself was in front of a presentation, "Now to make the wedding extra special, each one of you will go to a specific area to obtain an item for the wedding! Once you bring said item to the castle, you are free to do whatever you want with the area!"

This made the sins more interested in the wedding, as the presentation changed to Freako Dragon, "Freako Dragon! You'll be in charge of finding two diamond rings befitting rrrroyalty."

"Don't worry, I'll get the most fabulous ring money can buy!"

Satan nodded before changing the slides to each of the destinations the other seven sins would go to: Jewel Ghoul was to get the suits for the ceremony, Ring a Ding was to gather flowers for a bouquet, Smallbuster would gather electricity and technical items, etc etc.

Once they all got to their destinations, the king of hell then teleported to their destinations with his magic mirror acting as a window.

--------------------------------

"Once we get the rest of the supplies and fuel in, we-a should be-a ready to go!"

Gustavo put fuel into the plane, deciding to use the crystal as a sin detector.

Bruno agreed to let the Pizzaria be used as a headquarters and a safe space should anyone need a break from fighting demons.

The Noise agreed to stay behind for the first mission due to being exhausted from fixing the plane. Brulo also agreed to stay behind with the other workers, to provide them with a temporary shelter.

That way they could keep an eye on the Devil and Pizzahead and even provide advice if the group got stuck in an area or just needed a good tip.

Only two other workers would go with the first group because they needed a skilled pilot to fly the plane to each destination and they needed some extra muscle.

Annie was getting the supplies ready for the long trip they would go in order to free Dynamite and Spagehtti from their engagement.

--------------------------------

In a village of snow hares, precious gems and other minerals were harvested from one of the three mountains that towered over the town. Also, many vegetables and fruit were being grown alongside the base of the village, due to the rocky terrain making it almost impossible for the Lagomorphs to grow them in the village.

The most beautiful gems the miners were the Heart diamond (which was a deep pink diamond) and the Devil's eye (which was a very large diamond).

"Hey, do you all see that?"

"See what?"

"That!"

A miner pointed to the sky, seeing the panchiko dragon descending towards the rabbit's village at full speed. Another rabbit miner looked up and screamed loudly, "D-DRAGON!"

This made the whole town panic as they didn't have anything that could take down the devilish beast, who had summoned his minions to round up the bunnies who were scurrying about the place.

--------------------------------

"Alright! It's ready!"

Brick was in the passenger seat next to the pilot, Rick, as Annie, the other worker, and Gustavo got into the back seats.

Once everyone was seated and buckled in, the plane's engine came to life, and all the doors were locked for safety purposes.

The blue crystal glowed and its magic pointed northeast, towards the mountainous regions. Rick turned the plane accordingly towards the direction of the magic, and made sure the weather was good for takeoff.

"First stop: the mountain regions!"

With a roar, the plane took off towards the mountains, where the sin of greed was located.  Thus, beginning the quest to break the barrier keeping Boiler City under the Devil's control.

Chapter 7: Arrival at the mountain

Chapter Text

The whole trip lasted about 15 minutes, during which time Annie noticed dark golden clouds covering the whole mountain, "Hey Rick. Looks like we have got some bad weather coming."

Gustavo looked, his eyes widening, "Excuse me Annie? Do you know what sin is associated with the color gold?"

"Not really no."

"Well, I learned from the priest that the sin that is associated with gold is greed."

It took a minute before a lightbulb went off in Miss Bell's head, "Then that means the creep of a dragon is here!" Turblulnace was suddenly felt, and Rick had to land right away before the plane decided to land in an explosive manner.

It landed in a space on the first mountain, a good distance from the greedy dragon.

--------------------------------------------

Several miners were giving all the gems they could to Freako Dragon, who was guarding the entrance to the farm where the food was being held.

Next to the dragon was a growing pile of gems, all ranging from small to large.

"Too green.......Not enough red.......Very sharp...hate the coloring"

All of them were tossed onto the pile, where Freako would then hoard the pile or maybe he would sell them to make more money, but for now he needed to resist the urge and focus on getting the ideal rings for the wedding.

Many rabbits began starving, but the sin of greed wouldn't let them eat until someone got him the perfect gems for the rings.

One bold rabbit, however, managed to escape the village gates to find someone that could remove the dragon from their homes. Two mini Freakos gave chase after the rabbit.

--------------------------------------------

"So we can move through here in order to get to the village."

Rick pointed to a path that was going upwards, which meant they had to climb the mountains to safely reach the village. Annie was fine with this, as it would give her a chance for some payback against the dragon that kidnapped them in the first, leading to this whole mess.

Brick realized that they didn't have any climbing gear or, at the very least, a rope to catch them if they fell.

"Squeak! Squeak!"

Gustavo looked at his companion, nodded "Mama mia! We forgot to get gear for the mountains." The other worker began thinking of where to get gear from, since they could find a shop.

"Hey, let's go find a shop before we tackle the terrain."

They looked around the area, thankfully finding another mountain village that had a straight path to go to.

Chapter 8: Begin climbing the mountain

Chapter Text

"Gotta find help!"

The rabbit from earlier raced through the rough mountainous terrain with relative ease while the sin of greed's minions were close behind, keeping pace with the escapee, "Get back here you long-eared lettuce muncher!"

This earned a stone kicked in the face from the runaway lagomorph, "You won't stop me from ensuring my village can eat!"

Soon, the three came closer to the other village's gates where the team was busy buying mountain climbing gear to make climbing the rough terrain of the mountains alot easier and safer.

Annie picked out a pickaxe to not only to grip on solid rock if she slipped, and mine anything that blocked the path, the demo girl was also thinking about using it to crack Freako Dragon's skull completely, "I can't wait to try you on the dragon's thick head."

Rick paid for the items before hearing the sounds of a scream outside the shop, so he handed the items to Brick and immediately raced outside with Miss Bell following close behind.

-------------------------------------------

Just outside the shop, one of two mini-dragons managed to grab the villager, while the other prepared to give a serious beatdown to the rebel, "You really thought you could stop Freako Dragon's quest to find the perfect rings for his master?"

"And feed my starving village, yeah I did!"

Suddenly, the first dragon felt the cold metal of the mace make contact with their cheek, causing them to let go of the rabbit and hit the wall like a dart hitting a board. The other dragon gasped in horror, "I-It's Annie Bell!"

"That's right, I'm here to give the freak of a dragon a message: We're coming for you!"

Rick cracked his knuckles, "And is that anyway to treat a local here? I think me and Annie should teach you both some manners."

When he got dropped, the rabbit immediately went to the sidelines, not wanting to get involved in a nasty fight like this one and needing to recover his strength from running 10 miles.

-------------------------------------------

The fight was not as fancy as fighting the main sin himself, but it was still a sight to behold.

First, the two dragons breathed fire at the duo in hopes of roasting them alive, but Rick dodged the blazing heat and delivered a knuckle sandwich straight into the first dragon's nose, knocking them back.

"Ha!"

In response, the second minion went to ram Rick, making him fly into a trash can before Miss Bell gave a good swing of her mallet at the beast, making them hit the side of the mountain.  Knocking them out cold.

Brick wanted to help but couldn't due to keeping the mountain gear from falling into the wrong hands, seeing the rabbit watching from the sidelines, catching his breath.

Annie was busy wrestling with the first minion, who wanted to help their buddy and nearly got in biting range before Rick whacked them with an old frying pan, finishing the fight with the dragons.

"That was great!"

-------------------------------------------

After the chaos had settled, the rabbit offered to lead the group along a secret path that led to the village and Freako Dragon. All he asked was that the group needed to get food and clear out the satanic menace that held the village in an iron grip.

With that, the group got geared up and began making the climb towards the first boss of their adventure.

Chapter 9: Entering the village!

Chapter Text

Freako dragon was looking bored on top of his pile of gems, which was almost the size of a hill.

The villagers had brought nearly all the gems and minerals from the first mountain, but there wasn't one that was ideal for the rings and he was thinking of just ditching this village for-

"Hey, be careful!"

The Naga dragon looked over to see a rabbit grabbing the two gems that were considered the pride and joy of the village: The heart diamond and the devil's eye. Upon noticing the diamonds, the sin began making his way towards the rabbit holding the jewels, "Hey carrot breath! Bring me those two gems"

"No way-!"

"I'll let you eat if you bring them here."

While the rabbit was still loyal to his village, right now he needed to have something to eat, so he brought the diamonds to the dragon, who began examining them closely.

Looking hopeful that they had found the right one, the rabbits looked eager as the panchiko dragon smiled devilishly, "This is it! Mini Dragons, turn these two gems into the most expensive rings!"

The dragon smirked at the rabbits, who now looked deeply worried, "And have these rabbits prepare to harvest the second mountain!"

-------------------------------------------------------

During the mountain climb, Annie could practically smell the greed as they got closer to the village, "So what does the freak even want in your village?" The rabbit jumped above a small hole while the crew went around it carefully.

"He's been forcing my village to find gems for some rings or something like that!"

"Rings? What kind of rings?"

"I don't know! But the dragon said if we don't get the gems for the rings...."

Rick nodded, "Then he'll make sure no one in that town gets anything to eat!" He was helping a nervous Brick cross the hole safely as the mouse was too big for the narrow path that was around the hole.

After an hour of mountain climbing passed, the group finally made it to the third mountain. The sunlight disappeared behind the golden clouds that looked ominous up close, but this didn't deter the group.

Miss Bell got her mace out as right up ahead was the gate that led straight into the village's farms and to the satanic dragon that held them prisoner.

-------------------------------------------------------

"You said if we got the gems for the rings, we could eat!"

"Well, perhaps if you really want to eat, then maybe some of you should start on hollowing out the second mountain!"

Freako Dragon and his minions took all the food rations and locked them in the town hall, where the dragon on top of, as one of the white rabbits stepped forward, "You can't keep us from eating forever!!"

This earned a cackle from the dragon, "And how are you going to stop me? Are you going to try and stop me?"

"He's not! But we can!"

Chapter 10: First boss fight!

Chapter Text

Annie and co walked to the chapel, glaring at Freako Dragon, who was shocked to see the former prisoners, "How did you all escape the island we sent you to?!"

Rick got his fists ready for the fight, stepping forward towards the satanic beast, "We don't need to tell you anything! We're here to get you out of this village so the rabbits here can have something to eat!"

The sin of greed growled, preparing to end them, "Oh brother! If you want to waste your time fighting me, then go ahead!!"

With that, the group began the rematch against the sin of greed.

-----------------------------------------

Freako began the fight by trying to ram into the group to scatter them completely to pick them off one by one.

Annie responded by jumping up and giving him a couple smacks on the head with her mace before the dragon smacked her back to the ground. Brick and Gustavo dashed at any Mini Dragons that tried to help their boss. Rick also took a couple hits on Freako Dragon before the dragon flew up in the air.

The giant rat also caught Miss Bell so she wouldn't get hurt, "Thanks! What's your name, big guy?"

"His name is-a Brick!"

"Brick, huh? Want to come with me in taking down Freako Nerd?"

"Squeak! squeak!"

Brick gave a determined salute and went to Annie, letting her ride on her back, "You want to come too, Gustavo?"

The short chef nodded and hopped on. When the demo girl got the rat's back, Freako Dragon came back down, breathing a hot stream of fire at the group, causing the rat to leap up with the demo girl and chef aboard, landing on the dragon's back.

"Hey! Get off of me!"

Gustavo shook his head as they began the second part of the fight straight on the back of the sin of greed.

-----------------------------------------

"This way!"

Rick and the rabbit began helping the villagers get safe from the boss fight by taking shelter in the chapel.

Many were slow due to the hunger that they felt but they managed to get into the building. The other worker began making many meals for the starving rabbits with the food that got locked in the building.

She made stews....pies and many more goodies as the rabbit began passing out the food to his people, who began eating eagerly.

All of the mini-dragons were busy helping their boss deal with the three stowaways, all except for two.

The two who were finishing the rings for the big wedding and got them delivered straight to the devil.

-----------------------------------------

Annie began making her way towards the head of the beast while Gustavo and Brick gave her cover from the mini dragons that were trying to grab her like when she got kidnapped.

Freako Dragon did everything to shake the intruders off of his body, but Miss Bell managed to grab onto the head of the dragon's head and began forcing them downward like she and Anton did when the two first fought the beast.

"AH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Miss Bell slammed the dragon straight into the side of the mountain, knocking him out cold.

Many minions that were still standing saw the angry villagers ready to crack their skulls in with their pickaxes, so they grabbed their boss and hauled him out of there.

Cheers rang out throughout the village as the golden clouds dissipated from the sky, weakening the barrier the Devil placed around the city.

"One sin down, six more to go."

Chapter 11: End of area 1

Chapter Text

Satan was busy relaxing in the warmth of the tub with cucumbers over his eyes when the phone close by began ringing, "Ugh........Hello?"

A mini-dragon was on the other side, not wanting to face the wrath of the devil, "Sir! We've got a problem! Annie Bell and the former prisoners managed to escape the island we sent them off to and they even managed to beat Freako Draogn!"

This prompted the devil to sit up, removing one of the cucumbers, "WHAT?! I will not have that miserable little witch or her little group ruin everything! If you can't beat them, then I will-"

"We do have good news though!"

"Oh?"

A micro demon brought in the wedding rings for Peppino and Anton. The heart's diamond was put into an onyx ring while the devil's eye was put a golden ring, "Why these are the most delightful rrrings I've ever seen!

Giving the rings to the micro demons, the big bad boss turned back to the dragon on the phone, "Warn the other sins! I cannot have the wedding plans ruined!"

The giant demon went to soak back in his warm water, "Now, if you don't mind, I have some much-needed time to attend to." He hung up the phone and went back to relaxing.

-------------------------------------------

"Thank you so much for the help!"

With the dragon gone, the villagers slowly went back to their normal lives, taking the gems that were piled up to be put to good use, as the group saw the part of the barrier form a small crack on the side of where the clouds were.

Annie smirked at the crack, "All we need to do now is find the next sin, take them down and move onto the next one!"

Brick nodded with vigor before noticing the rabbit that led them there, packing his clothes.

"(What are you doing?)"

"Well, I was thinking about coming with you guys! I know this feels sudden, but since you were kind enough to save my people, I figured I could return the favor."

The rabbit walked up to the group eagerly, "So can I join the fight against the sins?"

At first, the group was unsure how to respond to this sudden offer, Gustavo nodding, "I think he'll be a good addition!"

"And he did help us get to the dragon. So I think we do owe him"

With that, the group accepted the rabbit's offer to join their cause to stop the wedding and save their pals.

-------------------------------------------

"Alright, let's head back!"

Gustavo got the plane filled and some vegetable seeds from one of the rabbits so they wouldn't have to shop as often for ingredients. Annie looked at her new Lagomorph buddy who was sitting in the back, "By the way, what's your name?"

"My name is Aspen"

"That's a nice name"

Once everything was ready, the group went back to the airplane and took off towards the pizzeria for their next mission.

Chapter 12: Intermission (1)

Chapter Text

Anton looked out of the room's window, incredibly bored about not being doing anything that wasn't already done. He and Peppino weren't allowed outside of the room except when it was time for meals with their repugent fiancés.

If he or his boyfriend hadn't gotten tied to this stupid deal, Satan would've had to pay another trip to the Hospital alongside Pizza head.

The only upside to this whole thing was that the room they were stuck in was a very nice room, much better than the bedroom in his apartment.

Peppino came over, "Anton, have you found anything to do in here yet?"

"Nope, have you?"

"Got nothing"

Mister Spagehtti sighed, he felt like they needed something to do before they died of boredom when he noticed a bit of wind coming from the wall close to the balcony door, "Hey Tontio....come over here, I found something"

Getting up from his spot, Anton Dynamite went over to the spot that Peppino was pointing at, feeling a breeze coming from the wall. With a mighty push, the demo man pushed the wall aside to reveal a hidden tunnel that was connected to the castle.

"Hey Pep, you thinking what I'm thinking?"

"Absolutely"

The two smirked at each other and snuck into the passageway, which unknowingly connected to all of the castle.

----------------------------------------

Pizza head had finished the list of the locations that they teleported each of the sins into the master bedroom. That way, they could be more organized. Once he was finished, the pizza left the list on the table for a drink of water.

A section of the wall next to a bust of the devil opened up with Anton and Peppino coming out of it, "Huh. Didn't know that the tunnel led here."

Taking a look around the room, Anton noticed the list laying on the desk, "What's that list for?"

"Let's-a go see"

Sneaking over to the desk, the two saw the list of the locations for the wedding prep, which gave the Italian chef an idea: if they managed to write each of the locations down, they could send them to someone to do a little sabotage.

So they began writing the locations.

----------------------------------------

Before they could list each of the sins in the locations, Anton and Peppino heard Pizza head coming back.

"Crap!"

"Let's go Tontio!"

The two raced back to the hole in the wall, and began to close it right as the pizza executive got closer and closer, "Come on......"

By some luck or fate, the two closed the secret entrance and went back to their room, with no one being the wiser of their little escape.

Chapter 13: Second Stop: The lagoon city!

Chapter Text

Once the letter had been sent, thanks to a micro-demon, believing it to be a threatening note to the ones that defeated Freako Dragon, Anton looked out to Peppino's restaurant, which was safe from the satanic aura for now: "Good luck guys."

Back at the pizzeria, Brulo saw the plane land near the shop with the group getting out of it, one by one, starting with Gustavo, "I saw the barrier form a crack on its side. Does that mean you took down the sin?"

Annie stretched with  her mace in hand, which had a little bit of the dragon's blood on it, "We managed to take down the dragon alright, and we got a new member joining us on our quest."

On cue, Aspen got off of the plane with his things in hand, looking at the bartender with a wave.

"What's your name, son?"

"I'm Aspen, Aspen Snowheir."

Brulo went to give a formal handshake to the lagomorph when the Micro Demon arrived, causing Bruno to hiss like a feral cat at them, "Hey! I'm just here to deliver a letter from Anton and Peppino! They wanted to threaten you!"

This earned a raised brow from the group about this sudden behavior, but when they opened the letter, they found the letter wasn't a threat, it was a list of the areas the sins were hitting.

Satisfied with his job, the micro-demon left the area, making Peppino's fake calm down.

-----------------------------------------

"And how goes the search, Jewel Ghoul?"

Jewel Ghoul lit a cigarette with a confident grin on the magic with his boss watching from his throne, "It's goin' good boss, I've got a sure-fire way of getting the most fabulous suits in the entire world."

Satan raised a brow at the sin of Lust, "What exactly do you have in mind, Jewel?"

A deep chuckle rang out from the ghoul before speaking, "To put it simply, I'll host a grand competition for the city to partake in, and the grand prize for winning will be something no one will be able to resist~."

With a quick hand movement, the pimp showed the prize; it looked like a simple blank magazine without anything to put on it yet, "Why would anyone want a blank magazine cover when they would want to be featured.....Oh!"

The grand prize wasn't a blank magazine, it was a chance to be featured in a magazine.

It was a way to take advantage of someone's lust for fame.

With that, the king of hell went to take another call from Tallbuster, who was tasked with getting the sparkling grape juice for the wedding.

He managed to get %25 from the area he was stationed in, which was a coastline area. Of course, the machine was doing all the work while Tallbuster enjoyed the sun.

Satan nor Pizza head wanted to serve champagne just like every other wedding had, plus not all the sins drank alcohol, so sparkling grape juice was a good alternative.

-----------------------------------------

"I'm going this time!"

"You sure Noise? You were pretty tired when we left."

Theodore Noise nodded while holding his skateboard, "Look! I may not fully believe this cause, but I want to kick some sinner's butt!" Brulo smiled, with the other worker out for this trip. That meant Noise had a chance of coming and he took it!

Brick polished the blue crystal, before it glowed again, growing a mini-crystal next to it. Its magic began pointing to a blue cloud that was covering a lagoon to the south, meaning it was time to get ready for another mini-adventure.

Noise knew it was time for some payback against the jewel-headed specter that imprisoned him.

Chapter 14: An Anounncement made

Chapter Text

Like before, the plane took off and headed towards the lagoon area for their next sin to defeat, during which Guastavo read about it, "According to this pamphlet, Lagoonia is famous for being a hotspot for aspiring people who want to work in the world of fashion and clothing in general."

Aspen looked at the pamphlet, interested in the layout of the city. Rick was driving the plane when he got a radio transmission from the city's air tower.

"Hello?"

"This tower 3 of Lagoonia airfield, please identify yourself at once!"

Rick cleared his throat, "This Rick Damien, piloting the aristol plane. I would like to have clearance for landing."

The person monitoring the plane was shocked by the name and went to check their registration. That plane went out of commission when a hurricane took down one of their reserve hangars.

"Alright, permission to land is granted. Give us a moment to prepare the runaway for your arrival."

With that, the tower workers began clearing the runway so one of their smaller Aircrafts could safely as Rick began making his way towards the landing zone.

Annie was busy polishing her mace, making sure it was in fighting condition against whoever was up next for clobbering. As long as she was able to, Miss Bell was going to go on each mission to save Anton and Peppino from an unhappily ever after.

Soon, the runaway was ready for landing as the plane began its descent.

---------------------------------

Jewel Ghoul stood still in a film studio as he was getting ready to put his plan into action. He wore a red suit with a fur coat, a cane, sunglasses, and a black fedora hat.

Looking at himself in the mirror, Jewel smirked, "Why hello there handsome~  Someone call the fire department cause I'm SMOKING hot."

The plan was simple: he would advertise his contest to the citizens, then count how many that wanted to join in, then plan the rounds accordingly.

If the ghoul knew the city's reputation, then he knew every aspiring designer, tailor, etc would flock to the competition for a chance to be famous.

All he needed to do after that was let the contestants do the hard work for him.

"Are we almost ready 'ere?"

Two ballbusters got the camera in position, giving the Sin of Lust a thumbs up as the special lights were turned on so they would hide Jewel Ghoul's satanic arua, so no one would find out he was a sin.

"Okay! Ready to roll in 5 minutes!"

---------------------------------

After everyone got off the plane, the company took their aircraft to their main hangar.

Theodore was understandably concerned about this as it was their only known way back to the pizzeria, but the CEO assured him that they would find another way to their home base, whether it would be a boat or another plane.

Rick told the prankster that they should begin looking for the sin that was associated with the color of blue.

Aspen was eagerly looking around himself, seeing the buildings that touched the sky, paved roads with lots of cars driving through them, and the variety of residents living here.

"Wow...."

Brick was helping by letting Gustavo ride on top of him, so the small chef wouldn't get swallowed by the crowds here.

The group walked past a TV store before the TVs turned on, grabbing the crowd's and their attention.

"Hello all aspiring designers of Lagoonia! Do you want your name to be seen in real fashion magazines? Well, I have just the thing for you! I'm proud to announce a contest for all future fashionistas and designers! This contest will put your creativity and skill to the ultimate test!

The grand prize for winning is your handy work featured in an exclusive magazine, and you'll win an all-expense trip to the beautiful Delamose hills, where the finest sparkling grape juice is made.

So what are you waiting for? Head to this location to get signed up to be famous!"

As soon as the announcement was over, and the address ws given, droves of residents, whether human, animals or objects, began making their way towards the building, pushing the group with them.

Chapter 15: Noise's master plan

Chapter Text

At a large building that Satan gave to Jewel Ghoul when he was teleported to the city, many entered the building with two poorly disguised Ballbusters sitting at a table where the residents were signing up.

Once someone signed up, they were instructed to form small groups for the competition. It seemed strange but no one questioned it, assuming that a part of it required a team.

Annie was first to notice the moles with their awful attempt at disguising themselves, "Looks like whoever we need to take down next is here in the building."

It was tempting to just storm the building and find the sin, but Noise held Miss Bell back from doing anything brash.

He knew that the building was likely to be heavily guarded, and charging in without a plan would likely result in them getting captured. So instead, they needed to plan their surprise attack, and find where the sin was.

"Next!"

A rainbow parrotfish walked up to the registration, "I'm here to sign up for the competition." One of the ballbusters looked at her while getting the sign-up sheet out, "Alright, just fill this out, then once you're done, go find a group to be with."

Nodding, the fish filled out the form while the other mole handled Noise's group.

"Are you here to sign up for the competition too?"

Gustavo was the first to speak up, "Well we're-"  Theodore immediately finished the sentence, and silenced the short chef, "-here to show everyone our skills in the fashion industry! That's why we came to sign up."

"Alright then"

--------------------------------------------------------

Brick looked at the competition as they waited for the moment to enter the area to begin, with everyone looking at each other with contempt. Annie and Gustavo glared at the Noise, hissing under breath, "Why did you put us in this contest Noise?!"

"Look, this is the best way to find the next sin. None of the moles could pounce if we played in this event!"

"But we're not experienced in this career! We might lose right away."

"My plan will work, we just need to find someone experienced to help us!"

Aspen noticed the fish they had seen earlier struggling to find a group, as no one wanted her for some reason, "Hey, maybe this lady could help us!"

On cue, the parrotfish came over to Noise's group, "Excuse me? May I join your group, cause if I don't, then...."

Theodore Noise smirked at both Annie Bell and Peppino's co-worker, before looking at the lady, "Of course! We do need an additional member to complete our group, plus we could use some tips!"

With absolute delight, the rainbow-colored fish joined the group, right as the door to the upstairs opened up.

--------------------------------------------------------

"Please make ya way up to the competition area!"

The competitors made their way to a large area that had everything someone that made their career in clothing would ever need: tables with sewing machines, measuring tape and chalk, rolls and rolls of fabrics along with textiles, spools of thread in every color, safety pins, seam rippers and the most important thing, sewing needles.

Seeing this made Rick incredibly unsure about their success. Even though they had someone who was likely experienced, they were going against many others who were likely experts.

"You still sure we'll win Noise?"

"Absolutely!"

Chapter 16: First Round begin!

Chapter Text

Once everyone got ready, the first round of the competition began, which was to design a dress only using no more than three textiles they picked. As soon as the starting bell sounded, many groups ran to the fabrics, some pushing and fighting to get the best.

Then they grabbed whatever colored spools they could and raced back to their spots, not caring if someone in their group got left behind.

By the time Noise's group finally got to the spot, most of the fabric had been taken and the ones that remained were too high for any normal person to get, "Shoot! We can't get to that fabric in time!"

Aspen thought before getting an idea, "Hey Brick?" The giant rat looked towards the rabbit, who had a confident smirk, "You think you could give me a boost?"

"Squeak!"

With his hands cupped, Aspen Snowhair went back before he leaped, managing to grab a white fabric with blue flowers, "Got one!" Annie nodded and grabbed the nearest remaining spool as they got back to their station.

Many were working on the dresses, organized, but not really talking unless it was to bark a demand or yell at a mistake.

Noise's group was more chaotic and, at times, they ran into problems that would've disqualified them, but they communicated as best as they could. Eventually, the group made a messy but whole dress.

------------------------------------------------------------------

"Times up! Put your tools down!"

Everyone stopped as the judges came out, "Now then, to explain this part; we'll be judging your creations based on stability, creativity, beauty and style. If the score is 5.0 or higher, then you will proceed to the next round....."

Theodore admitted he was a little nervous himself, despite his confidence that they would win as the judges looked at each of the creations.

"7.8"

"4.5"

"5.5"

"8.1"

"3.1"

Though many passed the first round, some got axed and left the building ashamed. It was tense as the judges came over to Noise's team, "Alright, let's see what you all made...."

Rick took a deep breath and showed the three the dress: it had gold sewn in the parts that looked asymmetrical, the flower patterns overlapped at times and the fabric looked like cracks on a tea cup.

After debating on the score, the judges gave their answer, "We give this dress an.....8.4!"

One of the let-go constants spoke up, "An 8.4?! It looks like a broken tea cup filled with gold everywhere!"

The third judge nodded, "Yes, it reminds us of the technique of filling the cracks of cups with gold to make new patterns."

------------------------------------------------------------------

Once the last groups were accounted for, everyone that passed the first round saw the screen light up, revealing the sin to the group looking for him, "Jewel ghoul......I should've known!"

"Congrats to all those who passed the first round but don't celebrate just yet! The rounds are going to get more challenging from here on out, so you best prepare for the ultimate competition!"

Noise growled in silence as two Biggiebusters came though,"Now if you are all so kind as to follow these two, they will show you to the hotel that was kind enough to let you all stay for the night if you are from out of town."

The moles led the contestants to the hotel they would stay at for the remainder for the competition.

Chapter 17: Checking in!

Chapter Text

At the hotel close by, which was surprisingly luxurious and ideal for Noise's group, many constants were checking into their rooms.

When they entered their room, they saw two king-sized beds in the main area, a little area with a pull-out bed, a balcony, and a separate room with the same number of beds.

Theodore smiled as he claimed one of the king-sized beds for himself, "I told you all we could do it! Now all we have got to do is keep this up and in no time we'll be fighting that giant oversized pimp!"

Rick picked the pull out in the connected room as he looked at Noise, "Okay, I'll admit it, we did do good, but that doesn't mean we'll have the same luck every time."

Annie nodded, picking a king-sized bed because she was not a still sleeper and she liked the extra room to be able to move, "We were just not as skilled as some of the others in the competition."

"That's why we have someone that is skilled in this field!"

"Just because we have them doesn't mean we can win with just that one person."

The rainbow parrotfish watched the debate, thinking of a way to help her team as she pulled out her mini sewing machine when it hit her, "Excuse me? I may have an idea on how to help you all."

--------------------------------------------------------

Jewel ghoul was tense; the moles had told him that the ones that defeated his sinful brother, Freako Dragon, were in the competition. He knew that they would try to barrage into his office to take him down at any moment.

He couldn't afford that, especially without the suits to deliver to the king of Hell for his big wedding.

Smoking a cigar to calm himself, the ghoul began planning a failsafe in case the worst happened. A call from Tallbuster came in, and the sin of Lust answered, "Hello?"

Tallbuster was sitting in a lawn chair while the machine was slowly stealing the sparkling grape juice, "Hey Jewel Ghoul, I need to ask for some help." Jewel Ghoul raised a brow, annoyed at the slothful demon, "What is it this time?"

"One of the pipes looks to be badly clogged, making getting the juice coming slower than usual. Can you send some of the moles over to look at it?"

"Can't your team handle it by themselves? I'm in the middle of something."

"No, because that would require me to put effort into leading them, and I don't want to do that."

Jewel Ghoul made the sound of an exasperated sigh before compiling, sending two Brawlbusters to help. He looked at the city's sky, which was starting to get dark.

--------------------------------------------------------

Back in the hotel room, the others were busy practicing for the next round: the fish teaching them sewing techniques, how to pick the right color, etc.

Though they were normally uncaring or unwilling to put in much effort, Annie and Noise were the most determined to learn the art of fashion. They worked hard and retried when they couldn't get it right.

Hours ticked away, and eventually the group went to rest for the second round of the competition.

Chapter 18: Second Round Start!

Chapter Text

The second round of the competition was ready to begin, with many glaring at each other (even if they were in their own group).

Noise and his group got to their station, more excited than they were before.

Once everyone was ready, the judges entered and the speaker turned on, "Welcome to the second round of the competition!"

Judge Riley opened a storage door as the announcer continued, "This will be a little different than the first round in that it'll be split into two parts!"

Many saw the judges hand out sketchbooks, pencils, and markers, "The first part will be to come up with a design for a wedding weather couple or guest. If you make a design that makes the grade, then your group will get an advantage in the second part."

Annie immediately found it odd that the challenge required something for a wedding along with Rick.

They didn't have time to think too far into it as the horn sounded off, signaling it was time to begin.

-------------------------------------------------

While the contestants were busy drawing outfit ideas, not talking to the others as they worked, Aspen noticed this.

"No one around this city seems to be friendly with each other"

The parrotfish sighed while she and the others sketched, "Nope, everyone that lives here doesn't really look out for each other. The only thing they all want is a chance to be in the spotlight."

Snowhair was shocked; in his home, everyone looked out for each other, like when he got sick, the villagers helped him get better. But in Lagoonia, it was the opposite. Everyone that aspired to be famous lived by the rule of apathy.

"That's awful!"

"It is-"

Soon the timer rang out, and the judges saw the various sketches and graded them. Only three groups had the advantage, and none of them were Noise's group, but despite that, they still had confidence that they'd win.

"Now we'll take a break for one hour and come back to begin part 2!"

-------------------------------------------------

In the break room, many were enjoying some lunch while Annie told the group that she found it weird that the second revolved around a wedding theme.

The Noise thought before something clicked, "What if Jewel Ghoul was sent to this city to find suits for the wedding and this whole competition is just him finding the right one?"

Rick took a bite of his sandwich, "That's a solid theory, but we won't know for sure unless we can find out for sure." Aspen was enjoying his salad when he noticed one of the constants glaring at them.

Gustavo looked and called over, "Don't you know it's rude to stare?"

"And? I'm trying to make sure none of you ruin MY chances at finally making it big!"

"What about the others?"

"There's no room under the spotlight for anyone else other than me!"

This caused an argument among the other constants, who were lusting after that fame and fortune the contest promised to bring.

Chapter 19: Location revealed!

Chapter Text

Soon the break was over and the second part of the challenge began. Aspen was stretching in case he needed to help his team reach high places.

This time, the contestants had to create the outfits they had designed, with the three that gained the advantage getting first pick of the supplies needed to make the outfits and get a head start.

Unlike last time, however, Noise's group wasn't the last one to pick up the supplies and they got straight to work making the outfit. Rick and Noise still communicated to the best of their abilities, making sure things went more smoothly.

Thanks to practice given by the rainbow parrotfish at the hotel, Noise and the rest of the team were more coordinated.

Some of the other teams, even one of the three that got the advantage, were struggling to properly coordinate because they didn't communicate with each other or employed the same techniques rather than adapting.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

After 15 minutes had passed, soon it was time to show the creations of the constants to the judges. Some outfits look good but weren't put together so they nearly feel apart when grabbed; other outfits were put together but didn't look really good.

The few that were both good-looking and put together were the tickets for the groups to pass the round.

While Rick's and Noise's group didn't get the high score they had during the first round, they did score well enough to advance forward.

Soon, only some of the many that passed the first round passed to the third round, which was the semi-finals.Jewel Ghoul was a little concerned about Noise and his little rag tag team continuing to advance like that.

If they managed to win, they could take him down and potentially sabotage the suits he needed to collect.

He needed to make sure the group couldn't ruin their plans.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Annie was polishing her mace that she kept hidden, itching for the moment where she could use it against the jeweled-headed creep.

She went to the bathroom and was walking back, when she heard the voice of lustful sin himself talking to some Ballbusters, "If they continue to advance like this, they could ruin everything! So I need you all to make sure they don't try anything."

"Hm?"

The demo girl listened carefully as the mole went to ensure that the demon fighters wouldn't stop the wedding.

Jewel took a drag of his cigar and called Tallbuster, who finally got the juice capacity up to %50, "How goes the juice extraction in Delamose?"

Tallbuster was reading a newspaper with sunglasses on, giving a thumbs up before explaining, "It's at 50 percent, it just needs three more days and soon it'll be ready to be given to the boss of hell."

"Excellent. That should be enough time for me to finish the competition and deliver da good to Satan."

Miss Bell carefully snuck out of the area and excitedly went to tell her team where the third sin was located at while trying to avoid getting discovered by the moles that were planning.

Chapter 20: Dividing up the group

Chapter Text

"So that's where the third sin is located?"

Annie nodded while the group rested for a bit in their hotel room, awaiting the semi-finals and the chance to take down the sin, "So all we have got to do is get those tickets to the hills, then we can take down the other sin!" Noise smirked, "See? I told you joining the competition was a good idea! Nothing can stop us now!"

Rick narrowed his eyes while looking out of the bedroom to see the city, "I wouldn't fully say that, Noise."

"What do you mean by that?"

"Jewel Ghoul will no doubt try to keep us from advancing so we can't stop him."

"Are you saying we can't stop him?"

The pilot sighed while looking at his team, his face looking worried yet confident, "It's not that I don't think we can't stop him, we absolutely can take down Jewel Ghoul, I'm just saying it's not going to be easy."

Theodore stretched onto his bed to relax, "Don't worry Ricky! As long as we all stick together, there ain't nothing that jewel-headed creep can do against us!"

Aspen yawned, laying on his pull-out bed, ready to sleep until the next day. Brick, who was also tired, decided to cuddle up next to his favorite short chef while the parrotfish was in the bathroom, getting freshened up.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Jewel Ghoul was thinking about how to keep the demon hunters from stopping him. They were getting dangerously close to stopping him getting those suits.

While sabotage was an option, there was no doubt that Miss Bell, or worse, Theodore Noise would catch on and try to stop him.

He couldn't just let them all progress either, because they worked best when they were together.

Suddenly, an idea hit the sin or lust: He could split the groups up into smaller groups or single competitors. Jewel could tell the other contestants wanted to be by themselves anyway, so he would fulfill their wants.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

When the contestants were led into the arena for the semi-finals, many looked at their teammates with discontent while Noise's group looked excited.

"Okay guys ready to get to the finals?"

"Heck yeah!"

"Let's do it!"

After lifting their hands in the air, Jewel Ghoul turned on the intercom, "Attention all contestants, you've all done such a good job with your teams, but I want to see you all shine either on your own or with smaller groups!"

This made Noise's group look at each other, unsure what to do, as many of the other teams had already disbanded or shrunk down in group size.

Annie and the fish were especially worried, since if they won, they couldn't hope to defeat the sin of lust without the help of the others.

Chapter 21: Girls club

Chapter Text

Noise fumed at Jewel Ghoul as the team discussed what to do, "Of course, the creep does this! Now, we'll have to split up to take him down!"

Ricky nodded as a plan was formed: Annie, Aspen and the parrotfish would continue with the competition while the others would do a little sneaking around to find the Sin of Lust was hiding. They knew it was risky, but they needed to ensure that Jewel Ghoul would not only go down but they could get to Delamose Hills for Sloth.

"Good luck Annie."

"Don't worry Ricky, we'll get to the hills one way or another!"

With a nod, Rick and the others left the arena while the semi-finals soon began, with only the rainbow fish, the rabbit and demo girl remaining to compete for the prize.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Jewel Ghoul smirked as he saw his plan had worked. He figured it was only a matter of time before either the demon hunters were unable to continue with the competition or, even better, they gave him exactly the suits he needed.

One way or another, Jewel would complete what he needed for the wedding, then he could do whatever he pleased in Lagoonia.

So many ideas swam through his head, such as making this competition a yearly thing, starting his own fashion empire, or even transforming the city to his liking.

"I can't wait to get to own this city, it's practically made for someone like to take."

He leaned back, enjoying another cigar, failing to notice the rest of the demon hunters weren't competing or even anywhere that the cameras could see.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Theodore looked around the corner as two Biggiebusters patrolled the hallway, not noticing the small news anchor host watching them leave. Gustavo was close behind Noise, waiting for the moment for the coast to be clear.

"Is it-a safe yet?"

Soon, both biggiebusters left the hallway for their break, leaving the area completely open for the demon hunters to go through and snoop around.

"Okay......it's clear."

The four began looking around for any clues to where Jewel Ghoul was staying at, with each one of them taking a room to maximize the search. Rick took the far right room, Noise took the top left, Brick and Gustavo took the middle rooms.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

After 30 minutes, to the surprise of both the rest of the competitors and Jewel Ghoul, Annie's group managed to pass to the final round. The short chef was proud of the group that remained to compete and succeeded in passing to the final round.

Now the other half just needed to find Jewel Ghoul to finally take him down.

"This is interesting"

Gustavo heard the silky voice of the sin close to the room he was investigating, and he pressed his ear close to the door as the ghoul continued to speak to himself, "Even splitting those demon hunters apart didn't stop them from advancing. Perhaps this could benefit me in the future."

Brick went to tell the other two that they had found the room where the sin was located as Gustavo tried to sneak away before the door suddenly opened, revealing the moles on the other side, with Jewel smirking.

"Well, well. Looks like we found a trespasser."

Chapter 22: Incoming Boss fight!

Chapter Text

Gustavo was tied up while the lustful sin paced around him like a shark circling around its prey, "Did you honestly think I'd let you just ruin everything I'm working towards? Silly Chef, once I get those suits, dis city will become mine."

"You won't win!"

The short chef struggled against his bonds, failing to break free before seeing one of Noise's bombs thrown towards Jewel Ghoul, causing a cloud of smoke to form upon impact.

"Noise?!"

"Come on Gustavo!"

Theodore grabbed Gustavo, and skated out of the room with the moles giving chase. Thanks to the years of pranks Noise pulled on Peppino Spagetthi, his skating abilities were on a pro level and he was able to get both of them out of there.

Rick opened the door for the anchor man, letting them pass safely before hitting the Moles with the closing door.

--------------------------------------------

Once the smoke cleared, Jewel Ghoul ordered the moles to find and capture the spies at all costs.

He was so close to getting the items he needed, and he couldn't afford to be foiled now. Especially not when a whole city was his reward for getting those suits.

"Okay Jewel, steady yourself......there's got to be a way to ensure that you can get rid of those hunters for good"

He thought deeply before getting an awful idea: he could lure the ones still competing into his office and use them either as an ultimatum or he could even make them work for him once he took over the city.

Jewel smirked, pressing the button on his intercom, "Moles, I need you to come here right away."

All the ballbuters and biggiebusters that remained awake after the door got slammed in their faces came to Sin of Lust, who had a devilish smile on his face, "I want you to make sure that the demon hunters get to my office one way or another."

This concerned the moles, but the jewel-headed ghoul explained, "You see, if da ones still competing make it to the office, we can ambush them and take them out for good. Maybe I'll even give the demo girl to da bosses."

--------------------------------------------

Annie and her team were enjoying some rest in their hotel before the final round started. Aspen was enjoying some city life TV, while the demo girl was polishing her mace and practicing wielding it.

Soon they would take out the Sin of Lust, get those tickets to Delamose Hills and take out Sloth as well.

The parrotfish was making sure her dorsal fin was nice and wet, as without her fin being wet, she would be consistently dizzy and off balance. It was one of the downsides to being an anthro fish, having to prevent yourself from drying out completely.

Snowhair soon looked at the gal that had helped the hunters get to the finals of the competition, and was close to taking down the second sin.

"Hey um, Fish gal?"

"What is it?"

"Well, I was wondering if, since we've gotten this far together, I've been meaning to ask what your name is."

"Oh! It's....Lumi"

Aspen smiled at the fish, "Lumi.....it's a very pretty name. I'm Aspen, Aspen Snowhair!" Lumi shook Aspen's hand, "You have a very nice name as well."

Once the introductions were out of the way, the other demon hunters came running into the room, immediately locking the door and making sure no mole was following them.

Chapter 23: Second boss fight!

Chapter Text

Once everything settled down and the other hunters knew that no moles were listening or even trying to get in via the door, Annie looked at them, "What's going on?"

Rick panted, "Jewel Ghoul is on to us!" This shocked Miss Bell and Aspen, but Lumi blinked in confusion due to not really knowing about the situation. Aspen looked at the parrotfish who needed some filling in, "What do you mean by Jewel Ghoul is on to us?"

Annie sighed, going to Lumi to explain everything while Noise was pacing feverishly. If that sin got hold of them, then it would potentially be game over for them.

It was now or never. They needed to take down the Sin of Lust before he had any ideas on how to stop their progress completely.

"Come on Noise, think!"

As he thought, Theodore realized something: even if they didn't win the contest itself, Jewel Ghoul himself would have to go to the Delamose Hills to make sure Tallbuster was working, so he'd have to have a ticket to the hills itself.

So they could forfeit the competition and confront Jewel Ghoul directly, Lumi came back looking sad that they needed to go after the sin Noise realized they couldn't just abandon the rainbow parrotfish that helped them get this far.

"Say.......Sweet fish?"

"Uh yes?"

"I was thinking......Since we might not be competing anymore, you should join us on our adventure!"

Lumi was taken back by this offer and thought.

Normally, when a contest or any event ended in Lagoonia city, she was often left behind by her former teams, going back to her lonely status. Not once had someone offered her to stay with them beyond a competition.

I....I'd love to come with"

 ------------------------------------------------------------

Jewel watched the two finalists go against each other, making the suits he needed. The hunters forfeited the final round, making it seem like they were running from the demon, giving assurance that he had won.

"Finally, now I'll get those suits and the city will be-"

Suddenly, the distant screams of Ball and biggiebusters were heard, making the ghoul realize he was running out of time.

Right after the winner was announced and the suits were brought to Lust Sin, he immediately ran to the teleporter on top of the roof with the sounds of the destruction getting closer and closer.

"Almost there!!"

Jewel Ghoul had just got the suits teleported before feeling the cold mace slam into his back, causing him to be launched backwards. The Noise got all his bombs ready to launch at the ghoul with an evil grin.

"Sorry Jewels, but you're overdue for some payback!!"

"Is dat so?!"

"Yeah!"

 ------------------------------------------------------------

They fought on top of the roof with a news crew team noticing the action and recording the whole thing.

Jewel first took a drag of his cigar, blowing fire towards the demon hunters, which made them split into smaller groups.

He then summoned mini Jewel ghouls to fight the hunters for him, but Aspen took them down.

Annie got onto Brick again with Lumi behind her, riding towards the jeweled mobster while he shot at them, trying to get a hit in. Noise threw one of his bombs to distract Jewel Ghoul, then he used his skateboard to smack the mobster in his face.

Gustavo helped Brick leap up, while the news crew filmed the entire thing, broadcasting the footage all over the city, revealing to the competitors who the host really was.

"You ain't going to stop me or da bosses! This world will be ours to do as we please!"

"I don't think so, Jewel Fool!"

Annie launched herself at Jewel Ghoul with her mace ready to hit him, only to get swatted into a wall, knocking her out and making her mace go to the other side of the mobster.

Rick looked horrified, before running towards the mace with Jewel trying to stop him with his pistols, but Brick managed to knock the gun out of his hand, having it fall down over the building.

Once the pilot grabbed the mace, Noise skated up, giving Rick a ride while Jewel Ghoul tried to attack with fire from his cigar. Jumping from the skateboard, Rick whacked Jewel Ghoul with the mace.

Knocking him out, with a pass for the Delamose Hills falling out.

Chapter 24: To the hills!

Chapter Text

With the sin of lust down for the country and his cronies fleeing Lagoonia with their boss, the barrier's crack grew slightly but the hunters knew their job was only half complete.

Now they needed to go to the hills to take down Tallbuster.

After getting down from the building's roof, Rick had two paramedics take Annie to the hospital to ensure she was okay, who was still out cold from hitting the wall, while the rest of them watched their friend.

Brick felt bad for not catching Annie Bell this time, "Squeak......" Aspen patted Brick on the shoulder, giving the giant rat a reassuring smile, "It's okay Brick, it was an accident. Plus, I'm sure Miss Bell will be okay!"

Rick sighed, worried as the ambulance was preparing to drive off. Suddenly, the pilot got into the vehicle with the paramedics, asking them if he could go with them so Rick could keep an eye out for Annie.

Surprisingly, the demon hunters wanted to go with them too, instead of prepping for the third sin right away.

----------------------------------------------------

"Oh......"

Annie woke up to find herself staring at the bright florescent lights of the hospital while her head was wrapped in a bandage, "My head...what happened here?"

"Annie!"

Rick shot up from his chair and went to Annie, who was confused, "Rick, what the hell happened to me?" Rick just gave her a firm yet gentle hug, relieved to see her awake and mostly okay.

The other hunters got up from their seats, gathering around the demo girl as Nosie was the first to explain, "That Jewel-headed creep knocked you into the wall, knocking you out cold." Gustavo nodded, "After we brought you here, the doctors told-a us that you had got a concussion and might be out for a couple hours."

"Oh.....well, what about the Delamose Hills?"

Aspen hopped onto the edge of the bed, making sure he didn't step on Bell's feet, "The doctor said they'll need to keep you for observation, so we can wait-"

Annie Bell shook her head, "No, none of you are waiting for me. You lot go to those hills and take that Tallbuster down!"

"Squeak Squeak? (But what about you?)"

"I'll be fine. The more we wait, the less time we have to save Anton and Peppino!"

The hunters thought it over, and the injured demo girl had a point; the longer they wait, the less time they'll have to break the barrier to take down Satan and Pizzahead. So they agreed to let Annie recover while they took down the sin of Sloth.

They did at least ask the doctors if they could keep the hunters updated.

----------------------------------------------------

"All board for Delmose Hills!"

Using the pass they acquired from defeating Jewel Ghoul, the hunters managed to get onto the express train that would take them straight to the Hills where Tallbuster was at, stealing the sparkling grape juice for the wedding.

Noise, Lumi, Aspen and Rick got window seats to take in the view of the hills when they arrived in the area, while Gustavo read about the area that was an hour from Lagoonia city with Brick laying his head on his lap.

"In addition to the land being perfect for grape growing, the hills are famous for having shores with crystal-like water that looks especially beautiful during the summer and fall."

"Nice! I bet you it won't be long before we take down the sin of Sloth!"

With that, the train departed for the hills while Annie recovered in the hospital.

Chapter 25: Delamose Hills!

Chapter Text

After 3 hours of riding the train, the hunters eventually arrived at Delamode Hills, seeing the beautiful lush green fields lined with vineyards seen for miles around.

Gustavo smiled, feeling the warmth of the sun that was starting to reach the level of the water, creating a beautiful scenery that was soon blocked by the silhouette of something that resembled a giant ocotopus.

Noise immediately figured out that it was the machine that was stealing the sparkling grape juice produced there.

Tallbuster was close by, enjoying the sandy beach instead of fully protecting it, "Looks like this'll be over before we know it." Rick looked at the machine as Theodore Noise tried to hit it with one of his bombs.

Only for it to bounce off and explode in the water.

"What the?!"

"Okay, this might be a tad harder than we thought."

----------------------------------------------------------------

"86 percent complete....."

The tall mole was thinking about just having a vacation here after he, or rather, the machine the moles made for Tallbuster, had finished stealing the juice for the wedding.

While the rest of the sins wanted to transform or take over the areas they were in, the Sin of sloth didn't want to make the effort to do either. So he was content making the Delamose Hills his vacation spot.

"Ah....."

Tallbuster was so content with soaking up the sun, he didn't notice or care that the hunters arrived to drive him out of the hills. All the long mole wanted to do was relax, content to let others do the work for him.

He went to drink another juice before hearing a thump hitting the machine, but he quickly lost interest, drinking his juice.

----------------------------------------------------------------

Lumi watched as a frustrated Noise failed to break the machine again, "What is this thing made of?!"

Gustavo was scratching his chin, trying to find a way to break the machine because it was clear that attacking directly wasn't working.

Aspen tried to jump on it only to get swatted away, landing on the silky sand.

However, it showed the short chef something: the bottom of the tentacles looked like the weak point that was needed to break the device. They could have someone go underwater and expose the weak points for Rick and Noise to attack, but who'd go down?

"Mr Gustavo?"

"Hm?"

Lumi looked at the water as the machine went back to stealing the sparkling juice, "Perhaps you need someone to go underwater to take care of that ugly thing."

This made the short chef beam with pride.

----------------------------------------------------------------

"Grrr!!"

Tallbuster chuckled at the fifth attempt at stopping his plan to get the juice, "Face it Noise, you'll never be able to stop the machine, so why even bother?" Theodore growled before noticing a tentacle that was exposed for him to hit with a bomb.

BOOM!

Suddenly, the sin of sloth noticed that the machine was starting to freak out, as another weak spot was exposed and blown up, "HUH?!"

Lumi swam underneath the waves, using her rainbow scales to make the machine focus on her, rather than focusing on getting the juice.

The tall mole tried to simply throw bombs at the hunters in hopes of getting rid of them quickly, but Rick used a bat to hit back the bombs to protect Noise. Aspen and Brick took out any moles that tried to stop them.

"Damage at 75 percent...."

Right as another bomb hit, the machine gave the container holding the sparkling juice that was taken to the Sin of Sloth, who felt the ground shake. A group of microdemons grabbed the container, hurriedly flying off with it.

Lumi got out of the water, running towards the group as the machine exploded, launching Tallbuster and his crew of Ballbusters into the air.

Chapter 26: End of area 2

Chapter Text

With both the sins of Lust and Sloth taken care of, the area that the hunters were in was now clear of demons. What was even better was the fact that Tallbuster already had a crate of stolen grape juice he was hoarding for his own enjoyment, so at least one portion of the profits made by the vineyards could be returned.

They could find a way back to the pizzeria to plan to find their next sin, take them down, and eventually get a rematch against the bosses of Hell.

"Yes! Three sins down already!"

Noise gave Rick a high five, both feeling elated before seeing something incredible: the southeast part of the barrier completely broke, allowing access to the area that led into the city.

Meaning they now had a new spot to explore to find more clues.

The demon hunter cheered, seeing that they were closer to their goal than ever before.

"What's the plan now?"

Aspen's tail twitched slightly in excitement as Theodore looked at the Lagomorph with a confident grin, "Now we should go back to Lagoonia City, get Annie, and find a way back to the pizzeria to plan our next attack!"

Lumi nodded before noticing the sun was almost gone from the horizon, an idea forming in her mind, "You know guys, it would be a shame to just leave the Delamose hills right away. Why don't we return the juice tomorrow while enjoying a little sun too?"

Gustavo was on board with the idea that Lumi presented. While saving Peppino and his boyfriend was a high priority, they should also be able to enjoy themselves a little too.

So, with that plan in mind, the hunters went to rest for the evening and prepare for the next fight.

--------------------------------------------------

"WHAT?!"

Satan sat on his throne looking horrified at the news as the nervous mole nodded, "Y-Yes your wretchiness, we just received word that part of the barrier to the southeast of the main city has been broken."

"What in the name of the underworld are those slack job sins up to!?"

Running out of the room to avoid the boss's wrath, Satan looked at his magic mirror, "Magic mirror, get me Ring-a-Ding on the line now!"

"Right away, my lord"

Soon, the sin of Gluttony appeared on the surface of the mirror, looking sleepy.

They looked to be resting in yet another greenhouse area as they looked at the big red demon, "Ring-a-Ding! I have a bonus mission for you. I want you to get rid of these demon hunters for good!"

Ring-a Ding blinked with curiosity as if to say 'what's in it for me?' luckily, the Devil knew what the former angelic bell wanted: "If you succeed in this task, you will have an entire buffet table full of food to yourself at the ceremony."

This perked up the bell, his mouth starting to water, thinking about the food he could have all to himself. No one he'd have to share with or limit how much Ring could eat, he could eat all the food he wanted.

After a bit of thinking, Ring-a-Ding gave a determined nod to the king of Hell before hanging up, excited about the reward for this bonus task.

--------------------------------------------------

Annie was chilling in the hospital, noticing the broken part of the barrier, "Looks like they did it."

The demo girl smiled before she went to rest for the night, recovering from her head injury given by Jewel Ghoul.

Chapter 27: Intermission (2)

Notes:

(See the end of the chapter for notes.)

Chapter Text

Back in the room where Anton and Peppino were being held, the two tried to pass the time by playing cards, ranging from goldfish to poker.

They just needed something to do to stop them from going completely insane from boredom, which tempted them to sneak out of the room via the secret tunnel, but they didn't want to risk getting caught by the guards or, worse, Satan and Pizzahead.

"Got any eights Pep?"

"Go fish"

Anton sighed, grabbing another card from the deck, before hearing the door that was normally locked was now unlocked, followed by a voice that both Dynamite Anton and Peppino Spagehtti loathed.

"Antoine, your dashing fiancé is here~"

"Oh for f-.......what is it sweetie?"

Satan entered the room with that sickeningly sweet smile, "I have good news! The suits for our wedding have just arrived and I want you two to try them on!"

Peppino nor Anton had no time to react or even protest, as two Ballbusters grabbed the two, and took them out of their chamber towards a fitting room.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

"Alright, first up is Peppino Spagetthi!"

After 30 minutes of having to get their suits on, the moles making sure they looked good enough to be shown to their bosses, and having to get in line like some stuck-up fashion model.

Peppino begrudly came out, showing both the corrupt pizza ceo and the devil what he looked like.

He wore a black jacket with red accents with a white shirt and tie. His pants were completely black, making the dress shoes blend into the fabric. Finally, the chef's combed-back hair complimented the whole look, making Peppino look like a celebrity.

Pizzahead smiled widely at the sight with his heart rate increasing as well, "Don't you look handsome, Peppino?"

The pizza chef grumbled as he went back to the dressing room, as it was now Anton's turn. As he came out, Anton wore a similar shirt and jacket to Peppino, but instead of a regular tie, he had a bow tie with suspenders over the dark red shirt.

His usually messy hair was neatly combed to one side with his beard looking more presentable.

"Now this is a look befitting rrroyalty!"

Once the showing was done, the two were dressed back to their usual and escorted back to their chambers for the time being.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Back in Delamose Hills, the hunters made the most of their time in the area, seeing the wonderful vineyards and their farmers hard at work, harvesting the ripe grapes.

They watched and learned the process of making wine among other grape drinks, including the sparkling grape juice.

Much of the stolen juice in the crates was returned to their rightful owners, who gave them a tour to say thank you.

All though Noise wanted to find a way back to the pizzeria, he also enjoyed the experience of the hills. Even buying some souvenirs for himself and Annie, the anchorman loved the view of the hills.

Eventually, the hunters went back to the train station, heading back to the city to figure out the best plan to get back to the pizzeria.

Little did they know that another new friend was going to join the team on their quest to stop the wedding from happening.

Notes:

Can you guess who that person will be?

Chapter 28: New Party Member!

Chapter Text

"This is a very generous offer, Mayor"

Rick was amazed that both the company that took their previous plane and the Mayor of the whole city were offering to give the group a brand-new plane for them to use in their fight against the Devil and his goons. "After clearing that Satanic pest out, it was the least we could do! Besides, the plane you brought in isn't in the best shape, so we figured we could part with one that we were going to retire."

The new plane they acquired was a sea plane, complete with more comfortable seats, bigger space for more passengers, a second back seat, better controls and two sets of cup holders.

Noise got into the shotgun of the plane, "Since I helped take down the sins, I got dibs on the front seat!" Lumi and Aspen got into the middle seats, with the fish making sure her suitcase with luxury items was secure.

Annie, Gustavo and Brick got into the back seats, enjoying how comfy the seats were.

"Do stop by again sometime and take down that pest"

With a final wave, Rick got into the driver's seat of the plane and began to take off.

----------------------------------------------------------

"Bruno, they're getting closer!"

Brulo was sweating bullets as the clone of Peppino got on all fours to pounce.

Most of the workers were waiting in the "safe room", which was the room where the awakened spirits were,  ensuring nothing devilish could get in.

While the bartender was busy making the restaurant more lively, the clone spotted someone that was walking towards the pizzeria. A hood covered up the figure's face, making it hard to tell who it was.

Given the broken part of the barrier and the fact that the oversized pimple would be furious, Bruno assumed that the figure was someone working with the villains to take down the hunters.

Which was something the clone wouldn't allow.

Right as the figure was close enough, Bruno pounced, prepared to maul the intruder.

Only to realize it wasn't an enemy, it was a friend.

----------------------------------------------------------

When the plane landed back at the pizza place, Noise spotted the pink bunny ears of his girl: Noisette.

Not wasting a second, the reporter got out and went inside, "Noisette! I can't believe it's you!" The bunny girl gasped in excitement and ran to her boyfriend, hugging him tight with a twirl, "I was so worried about you!"

"Me too! Where were you doll?"

"I was trapped in that barrier thing until a blue light broke the part that kept me and the others trapped!"

Noisette went to enjoy the rest of the pizza she was eating before getting an idea, "Hey Noise sweetie?"

Theodore looked at his sweetheart, who grabbed another slice of pizza and took a bite out of it, "I was thinking about helping you guys in the fight against both Pizza Head and Satan."

Hearing this, the Noise thought it would be great for his girl to be a part of the fight, but she needed a way to get around fast.

Fortunately, the answer came when the warthog from the island they were sent to came into view for some food.

"Glad to have you aboard Noisette!"

Chapter 29: Third stop: The meadows!

Chapter Text

Annie agreed to stay behind this time at the request of Brulo.

Although she had recovered from her injuries, the bartender insisted that she rest up while the rest of the hunters get ready for the next sin. This time the crystal pointed to the northeast from the city, which was in-between the three mountains where the first sin was taken down.

Noiestte managed to get her things on board the plane with the confused warthog being asked by Brick to help out.

"(You think I really should help out the humans?)"

"(Yeah! Besides, I'm sure once this is over, they'll be glad to take you back to the island you came from.)"

"(Very well)"

The warthog went to the bunny girl as she got into her seat while Gustavo was packing some food (pizza.......hamburgers......sandwiches.....salad......etc) as Noise packed some drinks so the hunters wouldn't go hungry or thristy on the hunt for the next sin.

"Okay, it looks like we got everything for the trip."

----------------------------------------------

Nested in between the mountains was a lush meadow: the type that held the biggest trees imaginable with thick bushes, a water source that stretched for miles, plenty of tall grass for the animals to use as food along with cover, and flowers that painted the landscape.

The only two things that were man-made was an old abandoned mining town that was being reclaimed more and more by nature every year. The second thing was tin-like robots that took care of the meadow.

Watering the flowers, pruning the trees and making sure the water in the source was clean and clear.

However, it had become harder to keep the meadow maintained ever since Ring-a-Ding appeared.

Whenever the tin bots heard the sound of the bell ringing, they would have to drop what they were doing and hide.

For any unlucky bot that was found by the demonic bell, they would be ripped into scrap metal and eaten whole like a hot pizza pocket. Ring-a-Ding would cause the ground to be overturned while looking for the rarest flower grove.

He wanted to pluck every last flower from that grove to use as the bouquet for the wedding.

What was worse for the tin bots was the Biffs and mini dings causing havoc while looking for the grove. Only one bot knew where the grove was located and they had to be kept hidden for their own safety.

DONG! DONG! DONG!

"Objective put on hold! Entering hiding mode!"

Many bots hid while one unlucky tin bot that finished trimming the diseased branches off a tree noticed a bell's shadow right under itself.

----------------------------------------------

"Alright Gustavo, have an idea where we're going to next?"

Guastavo sat next to Rick while Noise wanted to spend some time with his girlfriend, Noisette. The short chef nodded and got the brochure for their next location, "We're heading for Groveswood Meadows!"

Bruno finished getting the plane refilled for the hunters and making sure everything was ready for the trip.

"Yu shoul b gud to gou"

Soon the hunters were all seated, buckled in and got ready to take the next down as Rick turned the engine on, "Alright next stop, Groveswood Meadows!"

Chapter 30: Hearing the bells ring

Chapter Text

Noisette looked at the sights from the plane as Gustavo read more about Groveswood Meadows.

He found it was home to a rare flower type that bloomed during the late summer instead of blooming in the spring as so many other flowers tended to do. No one really knew where the flower grove grew due to no one really living in the meadow, only tin bots that cared for the plants there.

The group figured that the sin wanted to find the flowers, using them as the bouquet of the wedding.

"LOOK OUT!!"

Rick immediately did a hard nose dive as a blue tongue nearly grabbed the plane, before going back into the orange clouds for another attempt at an ambush.

Brick and Gustavo looked out of the window, seeing the silhouette of the monstrous bell that kidnapped them.

Ring-a-Ding roared with a haunting cry, as several Mini Dings tried to blast the plane out of the sky. Thanks to Ricky's piloting skills, the blasts never directly hit the plane, saving it from major damage.

"I see a safe spot close by! Hang on, it's going to be very bumpy!!"

Everyone held on for dear life as the plane made an emergency landing, with Biffs trying to zap the engine so it would cause the plane to crash. The sin of Gluttony eagerly watched the demonic clouds trying to end the hunters so he could get his reward.

Unfortunately, the Biffs and the demon bell lost sight of the plane.

------------------------------------------------------

"That was quite the welcoming committee...."

Theodore was shaking as he was the first to get off the plane, kissing the grass below his feet.

Lumi was panting, looking nervously around before hearing the sound of a bell fading in the distance, "Who was that?!"

Gustavo glared towards the sky, along with Brick, "That was-a the bell that kidnapped me and Brick! No doubt it must be the sin that's looking for the flower grove!"

Once everyone had calmed down, Aspen noticed one of the deserted towns, not wanting to be out of the open with that freaky bell patrolling the meadows for them. Both the Warthog and Noisette were on board in hiding from Ring-a-Ding.

No one realized there was a bot that held special information there.

------------------------------------------------------

After failing to find the hunters for 15 minutes, one of the Mini Dings got consumed like a potato chip as punishment for failing to find them.

This wouldn't stop Ring-a-Ding's goal of finding the rare flower grove, and killing the hunters.

His mouth drooled about the prospect of a wedding buffet all for him, all the food he could eat and eat.

Ring wouldn't have to share with the other sins, it would just be him and his food. The daydream about the food was interrupted by a Biff who found a map of the meadows from one of the abandoned towns.

Even marking the areas they have already hit.

One of the towns that hadn't been checked was the one the hunters were settling in as a temporary base.

Chapter 31: Bot hunting

Chapter Text

The hunters settled into what looked to be a town hall, taking a moment to catch their breath and enjoy a light snack.

Noise munched on an apple before noticing a silhouette on the far corner of the building, most of its metallic body covered by a blanket of moss and greenery. The news anchor went over to the figure, making sure to have a bomb with him in case whatever was in the building with them decided to pounce.

"What on earth....?"

Theo touched a button on the figure, curious if it would be doing anything. When the button seemingly did nothing, the prankster went to leave and join his amigos in forming a game plan against Ring-a-Ding.

Suddenly, the sound of a machine coming on was heard, gears began clicking into place, and the figure slowly turned on its lens like eyes.

"GAR-BOT 1345 coming online...."

Nearly jumping out of his skin, Theodore Noise leaped back as the ancient tin bot stood up. Gustavo looked over to see the tin bot walking towards the doors, grabbing a water can and filling it with water.

"W-What are you doing?"

"Going to the Vistelila flower grove to water the flowers."

Suddenly, the sound of a bell heard growing louder made the hunters realize that ol' bell head was coming to the town. Brick grabbed the bot and placed it on his back, followed by Gustavo.

The hunters fled the town hall right as Ring-a-Ding and his minions arrived, seeing the tin bot telling the rat that it needed to go to the Vistelila Flowers.

--------------------------------------

"Crud! Crud! Crud!"

Three Biffs followed the hunters, trying to zap them into the afterlife.

Gar-bot's eyes showed a compass, pointing to the east of the forest area of the group and said, "Go to the east when you reach the forked path...."

Noise threw one of his bombs at the biffs, only for them to hit it like a tennis ball right back at the news anchor.

"Noise, I see a forked path ahead!"

Rick tried to keep an eye on the clouds and the trail, right as the forked path came up. However, instead of turning east, the group went north instead, trying to keep the rare flowers hidden from Ring-a-Ding.

This proved to be a bad idea, as up ahead was a cliff that was straight up a dead end. Brick grabbed the bot, giving them to Aspen and Nosiette, "(Take Gar-bot to safety! Don't let the demons find them)"

Aspen nodded, riding on Noiesette's hog as they took Gar-bot into a thick bushed area, "This way!" After the rabbit, the girl and tin bot escaped to safety, the others weren't so lucky and got zapped by the Biffs.

Turning them into ghosts.

Chapter 32: Flying in the clouds

Chapter Text

Ring-a Ding laughed as he left, he did it!

He killed those blasted hunters, and found the bot he needed to find the Vistelila flowers. He went to tell his bosses the good news as Noise screamed at his ghostly body, "OH SWEET LORD, WE'RE DEAD!!"

Brick quickly looked for their bodies, only to make the alarming discovery that they were just gone, "Squeak!!" Despite being a ghost, Rick was the most calm, trying to see where Aspen and Noisette took Gar bot.

"Okay........let's get above the tree line for a better vantage point." the pilot tried to float up, only to be unable to do so, much to his confusion.

Suddenly, some micro demons grabbed the group and began helping them float above the tree line to see the whole meadow area.

Including patches of pink seen in the very distance.

------------------------------------------------------

"Excellent work Ring-a-Ding!"

Satan was excited to hear that the bell had managed to ghostify the hunters, giving the demon bell more time to collect the Vistelila flowers, "That should stall them as you get the Vistelila flowers!"

The reason that the Devil wanted those flowers was because not only were they rare and beautiful, but they had a hint of danger to them.

The vistelila flower was extremely poisonous if it was consumed by certain creatures, including humans. The demon king thought that kind of flower would be perfect for his garden and the wedding.

All he needed was for Ring-a-Ding to bring the flowers to the castle so the devil could plant them in pots for the ceremony.

------------------------------------------------------

"After 100 meters, please use caution when crossing the bridge."

Gar bot was still going to the Vistelila flower grove to water the flowers while Aspen kept an eye and ear out for the sound of the bell, "So Gar bot, the Vistelila flowers aren't poisonous to touch or smell, right?"

"No, the Vistelila flowers are safe provided they are not consumed."

"Gotcha"

As they kept traveling, the warthog went to a river to get something to drink, giving both the bunny and the gal riding on him the idea of also having something to drink.

Lumi was thinking of a way to get the others across the river without the risk of drowning or getting lost.

Then it hit her.

She could be a pulley for the group to get across the river without them falling on the bridge and drowning.

Chapter 33: Rafting down the river

Chapter Text

"You want to do what?"

Lumi went into the water, gathering wood and tying it together to make a raft for the group, "To pull you all across the river. I know there's a bridge but I don't think it's safe for walking across."

Aspen looked at the bridge that went across the river, seeing its hazards closely: splintered wood and holes, mold and mildew, the railing was practically nonexistent, and what was worse, the bridge looked creaky.

"Oh....."

Soon everyone got on the complete raft and Lumi began pushing them to safety.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Noise floated down to the patch of pink, before suddenly tripping and returning to his mortal body, "I'm alive!!! Wait...... We were never actually dead?!" Rick floated down after the prankster, reverting back to his normal form, "It doesn't seem like it."

The news anchor groaned in anger before the soft scent of flowers entered his nose, soothing his anger, "Ah.....what sweet smelling flowers."

Gustavo looked down and gasped in excitement; the flowers that were surrounding them were none other than the Vistelia flower.

It was blooming.

Bees, wasps, humming birds, and butterflies were around the flowers, sucking the sweet nectar and pollinating the flowers.

"Wow....."

Brick wanted to roll in the flowers like a little kid but the pilot stopped him doing so, "DON'T BRICK."

"Squeak?"

"If you roll in the flower's pollen and lick yourself, you'll get poisoned!"

This shocked the mouse. How could something so beautiful be so deadly?

Close by, the haunting ringing of the bell was heard passing by, meaning they'd have to fight the demon soon.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

"Why are certain flowers poisonous?"

"It is a defense mechanism that flowers have adapted to ensure that herbivores and pests don't consume them. It's the same reason why certain species of animals have venom or are poisonous."

Aspen looked down, letting his feet get soaked by the water while Lumi pushed the raft towards the location of the Vestila flowers.

Gar Bot made sure that the watering can had fresh water for the flowers to enjoy.

Noisette's warthog was relaxing on the raft, enjoying the warm sun. Despite being stuck with this group, it was allowed to be a regular piggy while the others fought these demons for whatever reason.

"Grunt"

"Yeah, you said it."

Soon, the sweet smell of a Vestila flower reached the noses of the group.

Chapter 34: Fourth boss: Ring-a-Ding!

Chapter Text

"Mmmmmm"

Noisette felt so happy when the sweet scent of the Vesitla flowers reached her nose, as Gar Bot got off of the makeshift raft with their watering can, preparing to water the flowers. Only for Ring-a-Ding's roar to echo in the distance.

Noise saw the giant bell with his minions coming down to the group with a plan to consume the flowers.

"HEY YOU DUMB BELL! IF YOU EAT THOSE FLOWERS, YOU COULD GET SICK OR WORSE!"

The demonic bell didn't listen or care as they began sucking up the flowers into their mouth, tasting the sweet, intoxicating poison of the Vestila flower before Noisette had the warthog ram the bell with its tusks, "Those flowers aren't yours!"

With a glare, the bell and the hunters began to fight.

--------------------------------------------------------

Brick and Gustavo dodged the bell's massive tongue as Ring a Ding attacked a frog trying to catch it's meal.

The new anchor threw his bombs at the gluttonous beast whenever it opened its mouth, making sure it would hurt!

Rick and Lumi got Gar Bot away from the Mini Dings as they tried to blast at them to help their master defeat what was becoming Satan's worst enemies. Aspen would help Noisette and her warthog attack whenever the bell tried to be cheeky.

Of course, Ring-a-Ding wasn't a pushover in this fight.

Whenever they could, the sin of gluttony would spray the poison inside the Vestila flower in hopes of infecting and killing one of the hunters.

They also shot bliffs at them with their mini dings firing at them.

While the whole fight was going on, both Pizza Head and Satan watched in hopes that the demon bell could actually take down the hunter group. Because if they were taken down......that would leave only 3 sins left.

Soon, the effects of the Vestila started to take effect on Ring-A-Ding, who began swaying back and both like a hop head, their eyes going fully pink. Rick and Gustavo looked at each other before nodding.

With a leap and high kick, the duo sent that bell and their minions soaring through the air.

Saving at least the seeds of the flowers so they could be replanted.

--------------------------------------------------------

"THOSE BLASTED HUNTERS!!"

Satan got up his throne frustrated. Despite the bell's success in getting the flowers, he had it with those hunters inferring with his plans!

'Hic!'

Jewel Ghoul was still recovering from the fight that he lost, as micro demons dragged in a fish-eyed-looking Ring-a-Ding, and taking the Vestila flowers to the hellish garden, "What up with Ring-a-Ding?"

"They consumed the flowers"

"That explains why dey look all fish-eyed."

Ring-a-Ding blinked slowly as the big bad of hell began making his way out of the castle, with his hammer and an evil look, "If you want someone taken care of, you do it yourself!!"

Pizza Head decided to join him to even the score with Gustavo and that rat.

Chapter 35: Intermission (3)

Chapter Text

Ring-a-Ding was surrounded by all kinds of walking food ranging from veggies, hamburgers, shrimp, etc while laying on a soft pink cloud. They were tempting the bell to eat them, who tried to do so, only for some invisible force to stop them from doing so.

In reality, Jewel Ghould and Freako Dragon were trying to keep Ring-a-Ding from licking an electrical socket and causing the power to go out.

They were under the effects of the toxin still, laying on the floor completely fish-eyed.

"Tallbuster! Get your lazy little butt over here and help us tie down this bell before dey cause a huge power surge with their tongue!!"

"That would require effort."

"Would you rather da boss finding out that yous didn't help keep his castle safe?"

Tallbuster visibly tensed before getting out of the hot tub and grabbing a rope. He tied the rope around the top of Ring-a-Ding's head and pulled the giant bell into its bedroom and onto the podium where the beast slept.

------------------------------------------------

Anton took in a deep breath of fresh air from the hellish garden.

While the giant pink pimple and the crazy pizza got ready to go out of Hell, they did allow Peppino and Anton to go out of the castle itself and into the garden. They wanted their grooms to see the Vistelia flowers.

"Huh. So this is the rarest flower in the world?"

"One of the rarest from what I understand"

Peppino looked at the flowers that were now taking root in the garden, one of them ready to disperse the seeds onto the ground. Both knew that the flowers were deadly if consumed, so they were content to just smell them at a distance.

The demo man noticed a cracked wall behind one of the bushes, guarded by two giant pink Biggiebusters.

He smirked and went to write another letter to the hunters.

------------------------------------------------

"That's another sin down!"

Noise smirked as the barrier blocking the city was starting to become weaker, meaning that they were so close to the devil.

Rick nodded as they noticed Gar bot was watering the flower seeds to help them to begin growing.

Noisette went to get the plane with her warthog and Brick while Gusatvo brought out some pizza rolls that he had made before, "Anyone-a got anything to re heat some pizza rolls?" Another tin bot came over with an oven.

"I CAN SUFFECIENTLY REHEAT THE ROLLS"

"Great!"

Aspen was munching on a salad, enjoying the meadow. Now it was free from the demon bell that consumed everything in their path.

Soon everyone was relaxing and enjoying a good meal.

Little did they know that they were going to have to fight the big bosses of Hell itself.

Chapter 36: Devil fight!

Chapter Text

As the hunter group began making their way back to the pizzeria, a dark magenta cloud began covering the sky over the aircraft, confusing Ricky, "Wait.........this isn't right, if the clouds are magenta, that can only mean—"

WHAM!!

Suddenly, the plane was forced to stop on a plateau on one of three mountains that the group began their quest on and everyone got out to see Satan and Pizza head on the other side of the plane.

"Well, well. Didn't think any of you pests would make this far, but this is where the line ends!"

Noise cracked his knuckles and got his bombs ready, "What makes you so sure we can be stopped?!" Gustavo glared as he got onto Brick, ready to fight.

Pizza head chuckled and pressed a remote, getting himself a suit that would enhance his strength and speed. Satan got out his mallet and grinned darkly, "It's because we're the strongest in all of Hell!"

On cue, the demon hunters got into a fighting stance, prepared to attack against the double threat.

-------------------------------------------------------------

First the king of hell grabbed a Dippo and used it to propel himself, managing to hit the hunters like a group of bowling pins. This not only knocked them into the air but it caused them to become scattered.

Aspen and Noisette responded by hitting the demon in his large rump with the feet and tusks of the warthog.

Pizza head and Brick charged at each other, trying to knock the other back when Noise managed to hit the corrupt ceo back before getting rapidly kicked by the manic pizza.

Lumi couldn't  do much but helped out using her tail fin to hit small medium rocks towards the two.

"GRRRRR!"

Satan  growled at his enemies before deciding to be cheeky and jump high into the air, confusing the others.

Pizza head used this to draw the attention of the hunters to him, which worked like a charm.

As the hunters and the pizza fought, suddenly a large shadow came down onto the ground, flattening the hunters like a pancake.

"Now to ensure you all will stay out of our way....."

Grabbing the hammer, the large demon hit both the hunters and aircraft like a golf ball, sending them flying far away from the city.

-------------------------------------------------------------

Back at the pizzeria, a very worried Brulo and Bruno were waiting for the hunters to return for almost 3 hours, noticing a satanic cloud covering was trying to surround the area, only making an eye thanks to the blessing the clone placed.

But they didn't know how long that protection would last.
