Hinata noticed something, kageyama was shocked the boy could form a thought let alone notice minor things.
"Hey did you notice how Tsukishima treats us compared to how he treats Yamaguchi?", Hinata said out of the blue.
"What do mean by that, he treats us like shit and?" Kageyama said annoyingly
"Yes he treats us like shit but not Yamaguchi, he's totally gay for him!" He screamed attracting gazes from their teammates
"Well have you looked at him? Obviously he's gay" kageyama said like knowing that the sky is blue.
"Well you're not wrong, but he's gay specially for Yamaguchi, like the other day we were at english class and I just saw Tsukishima with the most heart eyed looks you could ever imagine looking at Yamaguchi while the poor guy was just taking notes"
"No wonder why you're failing english, but i kinda noticed that too. Tsukishima can't stand us calling him by his own name but Yamaguchi has the privilege to have a nickname that only him can use it and Tsukishima smiles at that!" Kageyama exclaimed.
"They are totally falling for eachother 'cause Yamaguchi is not innocent in this case too, one day I called Tsukishima "Tsuki" taunting him and I swear I never saw Yamaguchi so mad!" Said Hinata with a spooked face.
"I would bet my lunch that Yamaguchi has some kind of praise kink 'cause the guy is always looking for Tsukishima's constant compliments"
"Right?! The other day we were training float serves and every time he would get it he immediately looked at Tsukishima to receive a thumbs up and a smile, both looked they were about to melt" Hinata said while copying their moves.
And in fact, they were right.
Tsukishima and Yamaguchi were so falling with eachother.
"Tsuki! We are still going to do that sleepover today?"
"Sure, why not?" Tsukishima answered
Both Hinata and Kageyama were present and looked at eachother with a acknowledging look... Later that day they commented on the fact Yamaguchi was so excited and red(like he always was with Tsukishima) and Tsukishima seamed different than usual.
They got to Tsukishima's house wich was current since they knew eachother for a long time, Yamaguchi would go there sometimes just to gossip with Tsukishima's mom.
"Hello dears, how are you? I made Yamaguchi's favourite for today's lunch" his mom said in a welcoming and sweet tone.
"Hi Mrs.! I'am wonderful, aww you didn't had to! But thank you anyway" Responded Yamaguchi in a grateful tone
They had lunch than they went up to Tsukishima's room.
"Yamaguchi, I have something to tell you..." Tsukishima said in a weird tone he couldn't decipher
"So tell me Tsuki, I swear no matter what it is I'am not gonna judge you" He said as he smile truthfully.
"Lets just get over with this Iaminlovewithyou" Tsukishima said in one breath
"Sorry Tsuki could you repeat it? I didn't understand a word" he laughs
"I'am in love with you" he exclaimed again
"I-I I-" Yamaguchi stuttered and got interrupted
"I know you don't feel the same but I just couldn't keep it in my chest anymore, I hope this doesn't ruins our friendship" he said smiling sadly
"And who said I'am not in love with you?"
Wait what?- it was what Tsukishima thought
"So you're in live with me?" Tsukishima said confounded
"I' am you dummy!" Yamaguchi answers laughing.
The next day the ones confused were Hinata and Kageyama when they entered school and saw Tsukishima and Yamaguchi holding hands.
"You-" Hinata said getting interrupted by Kageyama
"Yes." Was all he said
Both Hinata and Kageyama couldn't set that what they saw was real, Tsukishima showing affection and not the rock he usually was?!?! Impossible.
So later that day, at practice they decided to ask what was going on.
"Yamaguchi, you and Tsukishima are together?" They asked on a single voice
Tsukishima and Yamaguchi just looked at eachother like they were talking with their eyes.
"Huhh we are" he said smiling happily with Tsukishima smiling too?!?!
Both boys never felt so confused, but they went home happy knowing they were not delusional or seeing things Yamaguchi and Tsukishima were actually in love.
