Chapter Text
This mission was supposed to be the same as every other mission, get in and get out with no mistakes...this mission was not one of those, little did Gigi know that this mission would change her life forever...
Justice had been tracking a wanted killer for a few weeks now and finally were able to track them down. Not wanting to waste this opportunity Justice moved out to capture their target.
"Gigi and Cecilia, the two of you will be in charge of capturing our killer while Raora and I will keep in contact and support you." Liz knew how well the two of them worked together, even if they tend to bicker with each other.
"This'll be a piece of cake, no sweat!" Gigi was being her usual confident and cocky self.
"Don't let that big head of yours be the reason you screw this up" Ceci has gotten used to Gigi's antics but knew she needed to remind Gigi how important this mission was. "We can't afford to slip up and lose them"
"I've located our target!" Roara chimes in, she has been using her god eyes to track down the specific location of their target
"Then we better hop to it before they get away!" Gigi exclaimed looking at Ceci
"Gigi wait, what if it's a trap! We need to wait and set up a plan of attack"
"And possibly let our guy slip away, no thanks. And you know I'm not one for waiting, move first, think later" Gigi smirks and winksat Ceci before taking off on her own
"Ughhh why can't she just sit still and listen for once?" Ceci huffed
"Ceci, go after Gigi and back her up, if this truly is a trap then who knows what sort of danger Gigi could be running into" Liz looks at Cecil with concern
As Gigi gets closer and closer to her target she gets a bit of a weird feeling... something felt off. She shakes her head "it's fine Gigi, you're faster than he is, knock him out and capture him, simple as that."
As she gets inches closer to grabbing her target she notices something out of the corner of her eye, but it was too late. Out of nowhere she's hit in the head with something very hard, knocking her down to the ground. Her eyesight is extremely disoriented but she makes out another figure coming out from behind a tree. She sees both the target and the figure takes off running away before she ends up losing consciousness.
"Gigi, are you ok!?" Ceci after a few mins catches up to Gigi and notices her on the ground "Gigi, talk to me please!" Ceci checks her pulse to make sure she was still alive, as she feels a faint pulse she breathes a sigh of relief "she's still alive, thank goodness, I need to let Liz and Raora know what happened"
Waking up, Gigi felt a massive pain in her head. "What happened and where am I?" Gigi looks to her left and there sits Ceci, sitting in a chair close to the bed asleep
"What's Ceci doing in here? What's going on and why can't I remember how I got here?"
Ceci slowly opening her eyes, noices Gigi awake in bed
"Gigi you're awake!" "How are you feeling? You took a pretty bad hit in the head."
Gigi looks at Ceci with confusion. "Huh? What do you mean? Touching her hand to her head she feels an immense pain and a large bump "Ceci, how come I don't remember what happened to me?"
Shocked, Cecil gets up out of her chair. "Wait you don't remember anything from yesterday, like at all? "Hold on I should go get Liz, maybe she'll know what to do"
Distressed, Ceci runs out of the room before Gigi could say anything....
