After 8 years Katuski was final able to give Izuku the suit. The suit that will change everything, the one that will make their dream come true, the one that Katuski worked so hard for the both of them. While yes, he knew with this Izuku will not know how Katuski really feels for him but it’s a step and Katuski hopes this is the right one. The one that will change everything
But oh.. how foolish Katuski can be thinking that all of he dreams.. his hopes aren’t going to be fulfilled.
A year goes by since Katuski gave Izuku the suit, since the incident in his car with Izuku, with him rejecting his offer of coming to his agency. He covered up with a smile but deep down he knew that was the end. The end of saving to win, winning to save. The end of chasing each other. The end of what Katuki thought they had for each other. Even after the meet up with the others that night he thought Izuku will still be with him. But no instead he sees Izuku walking no chasing to Uraraka in the distance. He knew the moment he saw him staring at her with those eyes, the same he once saw Katuski all those years ago he knew he lost him forever.
That same night when he dropped off his group of friends. The same night he told Eijiro that he loved Izuku in his car. The same night when Izuku texted him he and Uraraka talked and finally got his feeling out to her. He snapped once he got into his apartment. He cried, yelled, curing him self to think Izuku will still be at his side. Even after everything he has done for him. The suit, the agency offer, him crying about him losing OFA and how he still wanted to fight along side him that day in the hospital all those years ago, and him fucking almost dying twice for him.
Yet even all of that, Izuku couldn’t see how Katsuki really felt for him. It’s kinda funny now that katsuki thinks about it, how the years of bulling, hurting, pushing him away it finally stabs him in the back. How the roles have change, how now that he was the on yearning for Izuku touch, the one yearning for that that hand he desperately wanted to reach out to. But now.. there is no hand to reach to. Since now that hand it out for Uraraka, but how can Katsuki compete with her, she wasn’t the one pushing him away, she was always there for him too.
But still… Katsuki thinks there still a chance. Even when he told Eijiro, his parents they gave him a sad look, a look he never wants to see again. Especially from his mother. While they have there fight here and there this was one of the moments he actually shows and tell his feeling to her and his father.. but he knows that she wants him to stop. To stop with the chasing because it will leave him with an empty heart, but has always he still doesn’t take her idea. Oh how wish he did.

That was the final punch to Katsuki. While he knew, deep down that this was coming up he still was hoping, dreaming that somehow him and Izuku could be…
He cries, cries while texting back that he will attend and support Izuku as a friend. Nothing special, not special. As he looks and smiles at Izuku and Uraraka with both of them having rings, beautiful rocks, green and pink engraved to it. When he gives a speech about the happy couple how he was glade to witness and be apart of this event for his friend. Oh god.. how he wanted someone to shoot him right there. Even when he drives to the hotel drinking once he got to the room, even when his heart started to burn due to the alcohol or the clashing of emotions. He still kept smiling, smiling knowing Izuku got what he wanted, what he deserved for what he has been through. That’s when Katuski gives up. The man who always fought for what he wants, the one who never stops fighting to win. Gives up. He was tried, tried from the chasing, the yearning of the green haired man touch.
Katsuki gave up.

Months go by since the engagement party since the night Katsuki sore he gave up on izuku. While yes, the pain of seeing the happy couple around he knew it destined to be. Destined that he was meant to be izuku friend and rival no matter what, in this universe or any other Izuku will also belong to Uraraka.
Now he sits on top of a roof looking down. Scanning to see any villains. He sees the cherry blossom already showin, a sign of spring approaching, a sign of the soon the be weeding that Izuku and Uraraka will have. While he told Izuku he will attend and be there to see him on his special day
He felt that he was just gonna make a fool of him self. Seeing the man he once loved love marrying some one is kinda hilarious and yet terrifying.
That’s when he heard an explosion, it wasn’t close but loud enough to knock him out of his thoughts. Not even a second he starts to fly towards the commotion with his quirk. He was hopping that it would be a quick fight but no. It was one of the top villains that recently broke out of the top security’s in Japan. Asahi, his quirk is unknown it was never released to the public nor the hero’s, due to him being part of a an illegal experiment 2 years ago. Katsuki still remember that day when him, Izuku, and Shoto were assigned to the mission finishing the job in a matter of days. Even after trying to get some information all they knew is that he was under no quirk, but they knew it was something else.
By the time he landed Ashai already cause a great amount of damage, damage Katsuki never thought he ever seen again since the final fight with Shigaraki. He knew this would be a wild ride. While trying to scout out for the villain but also looking for any remaining civilians that were caught with the explosion he called for back up and reporting that the villain was Ashai. Not even 3 minutes of reporting Izuku, Uraraka, and the others showed up. Knowing this was a top villain it’s best for everyone to be here. Yet still he wanted Izuku not to be here, not to get hurt.
With that Him, and Shoto decided to attack first, using Shoto ice to capture the villain like last time and knocking him out with an explosion, Ashai put his hand to the ground and the floor exploded. Not big enough as the in before but enough to break Shoto ice and causing a much more distance between the hero’s and villian. Now this was trouble, with civilians still here and not knowing the history of Ashai quirk they were at a disadvantage. But one thing for sure is that if Ashai touches something or worse someone they could easily exposed. Katsuki knew that and by the looks of it, Shoto and Izuku knew that also.
With that they decide to create distance with them and the villain to make him focus on them while the others deal with the civilians and the damage. At first non of the 3 hero’s couldn’t get hit in Ashai due to him just causing an explosion or dodging the attack. But with a villain just is focusing on defending Katsuki was able to close the gap and landed a hit on the villain. Ashai body flew across the broken street colliding with a car. Surprisingly he was still able to stand, and before he could even cause another explosion Izuku used “black wip” to hold his hands back from touch the floor, before shoto could even finish off the villain with his flames Ashai mutter something.
Boom
There you see buildings collapsing, streets being blown up and the very car Ashai collapsed exploded, causing Izuku to lose grip of the villain due to the impact of the explosion. Not even a second the impact was over Katsuki sees Ashai reaching out for Izuku. With no hesitation Katsuki body moved on its own. He pushed Izuku out of the way making Ashai touch him. Izuku yelled out his name but yet nothing had happen. Where is the explosion. When he looked at the villain. All Ashai did was smirk at him. With that Shoto used the opportunity to use his flames burning the villian back and making me collapse to the floor. He was still conscious, but not enough to continue to fight. Katsuki still unaware of the quirk yelled at Izuku not to touch him worrying he would to get hurt. But still not listening and being a Deku, he still reached out to Katsuki touching his left rip and arm to see if any damage was done when Ashai touched him. In the past Izuku touch would feel warm as the sun, but now they feel cold almost numb towards Katuski. Eventually the rest of the hero’s came towards them Izuku seeing Uraraka and running towards her the moment he saw her, eventually letting go of Katuski, even though his touch felt cold he still misses it. That when it happen, when Shoto was assisting Sero tying the villian up with tape and ice. Ashai mumbled onced again.. Boom
Katsuki left side exploded. Creating a hole through his body. Blood spat out of Katuski mouth, a puddle of blood surround him and painted on the wall behind him. He turned to looked at Izuku, eyes wide tears coming out of those forest eyes, oh how he wished he could wiped them off his face. He collapsed. Screams ran through his ears, he blinks and now, now he see Izuku next to him. Yelling at his old classmates to get the medics, to go and get something. Seeing Ashia laughing has he gets taken away. How he feels Izuku holding, cradling him tears falling onto Katuski face. How he hears Izuku pleading to him how he couldn’t leave him how he still needed him by his side. Oh how many time’s Katuski wished for Izuku to say that to him, but not here, not like this. But all Katsuki did was smile, smile knowing that Izuku is safe, knowing that Izuku will be able to live on and have his weeding with Uraraka, just knowing that he wont be by he side no more…..
“Aishiteru” he mumbled
Izuku looked at him, eyes wide, mouth quivering “kacchan?…”
“I… Ive always have…. Even when you f-found someone, some-on-ee more special I ne-never stop”
“I’ve just wished…. I could’ve tell you sooner… then m-maybe things turned out d-different……”
His vision was getting blurry, his heart beat slowly fading away.
“KACCHAN.. KACCHAN STAY WITH ME!! DONT YOU DARE GIVE UP! YOU CANT PLEASE.”

Katsuki gave up a long time ago
He is just tried..
He reached out to wipe of the tears from Izuku face, yet also leaving a trace of his blood. Oh how much he gonna miss this face, how he gonna miss the freckles laid across like the stars in the night sky… how is gonna miss his Izuku
In his last dying breath Katuski intertwined his and Izuku hand. Even has he hears Izuku still pleading with him to stay. Knowing this will be the final time he’ll ever hold his hand. The one he has always been chasing, yearning for. Now he has it.
“I’m sorry…. for ev-everyth-ing— zuku.”
With that Katsuki Bakugo died knowing that his friend, his rival, his partner, his love, his aishiter, was able to be by his side at his very end.
Knowing that he died with a smile on his face . —————
When Katuski open his eyes he is still in his hero outfit but not injured. Instead his in a stream(or river). The stream he rejected Izuku hand all those years ago. When he looked around he finally got to see him. His Izuku…
“Kacchan… let’s go home yeah?” As the little izuku reach his hand out. Katsuki knew this is a dream, he knew this isn’t Izuku… he knows that he is…
but after all those years suffering
“Yeah let’s go home Izuku” Katsuki takes his hand and with that both of them head home. Knowing that this time they both will stick together. Knowing he wont push him away. Knowing that they will win to save, and save to win. Knowing that they will never stop chasing each other. Because that all Katsuki ever wanted
And this time he is not losing it he is not giving up.
