some of my headcanons about coral because i just like her so much
-for some reason i’m convinced she has a lot of siblings and they are the oldest out of them(but maybe it’s just because of how she took mizzen under her wing and protested him as long as she could during the games)
-uses she/they pronouns
-i know she cuts her own hair
-coral’s mother left her family because she felt like she was suffocating and couldn’t live with a fisherman who was leaving very often for long periods of time, so she packed her things, walked out of their lives and never looked back
-that caused coral’s father to return home for even shorter periods of time and shut himself from his children which forced coral to take the parent figure for her siblings
-she started working at very young age to help her family financially
-used to be such a huge people pleaser when they were a child
-no matter how badly she tries to hold her rough and cold exterior she is very protective and has the biggest soft spot for people they care about the most such as siblings or friends
-one day when she was bored she pierced her ears herself with a needle and thinks that it was one of the best decisions
-is definitely a cat person!!
-doesn’t like sweets that much (probably because they didn’t have much access to them while growing up)
-is a lesbian(as if it is necessary to write this)
-they ALWAYS make sure that people around her have everything they could possibly want before even thinking about their own needs:(
-prefers tea over coffee
-adores picking up shells and other trinkets people sometimes throw in the sand if she has a day off
-their favorite color is light green and then blue
-tries not to swear but when they are under a lot of stress sometimes curse words may slip from her lips
-actually likes to sing but it doesn’t sound as good as she thinks but that’s okay:)
-once they decide to do/get something coral will not stop until she has it.
-her youngest sister gave her shell necklace and coral never takes it off
-is pretty emotional but tries to hide it if possible to not seem weak:(
-whenever life gets too overwhelming she goes to sit on the beach and looks at the see and it makes them feel like everything is going to be okay
-coral’s biggest dream is knowing that her siblings will have a safe and long life without being reaped for hunger games
-gets super competitive while playing any game
-doesn’t smile or laugh often but when she does anyone that is with her will as well because it’s just so contagious and comforting
-is ticklish but will deny it with her whole being
-always wanted to see as much of the world as she could and travel but she got reaped and we know what happened later…
-coral’s favorite season was spring(they adored looking at everything blooming and growing after winter)
-is an extremely messy person but claims that everything is in a place where it's supposed to
