Glisten tossed and turned. What time is it even? He glanced over to the clock in his room ; 4:47 am.
Great.
What if he saw Glisten like this?
That wont happen Glisten, why would he even see me now?
But what if?! Oh whatever.
Oh how he loved him. He was just perfect in every way, at least that was how it was in Glisten’s eyes. Glisten’s face flushed even at the mere thought of him.
Glisten, it’s not that hard. Just sleep.
Why couldn’t Astro send him dreams just once! That moon infuriated Glisten. He was so quiet and only ever talked to his little “main” friends.
Leave it. This won’t help you sleep.
So Glisten kept turning, over and, over and over. Sleep would never come to him would it?
Glisten felt there was no longer a point, so he just decided to start getting ready. Atleast he could grab coffee before any one was awake.
He grabbed his rose bathrobe. This one was by far Glisten’s favorite. It had just a stunning lace design on the back and was so long, dragging like a train on a wedding dress behind him, not to mention that it still managed to be cosy in a way.
Walking over to his vanity, Glisten grabbed one of his bows and placed it gently into the lovely swirl at the top of his frame. Then, sitting down at the vanity, he took some blush and applied it to his glass, as well as grabbing some mirror cleaner to clear away the dark circles. Finally he applied his favourite pink lipstick, and he was ready to go! He looked perfect. It covered up his eye bags and imperfections well, and if a toon were to see Glisten, he would look amazing! He always looked amazing, of course!
Am I going on a run today? I should check the schedule. At least theres no filming or kids today.
He carefully unlocked his room door, trying his best not to awaken any of the other toons, especially Toodles. When that girl woke up, she wouldn’t go back to sleep. A small hyper Toodles at 4 am with no one to control her was a nightmare more terrifying than any of the twisteds down at the lower floors. Glisten shuddered at the idea and continued on, thankfully not awakening anyone.
The sun was just about to rise, so Glisten, right after grabbing an extremely strong cup of coffee sat at a bench in the lobby, watching the sun rise through the glass roof. The bitter taste stung in his mouth, but at least it jolted him awake enough. It was a beautiful morning, in what Glisten assumed to be summer. The sun rose slowly, its light shining through the large glass dome.
Oh how Glisten wished he was here with him.
Oh how Glisten wished Rodger was here with him.
Glisten had had a crush on Rodger for a long time now. He always looked on at the magnifying glass doing, well, anything really. Glisten was, what do you call it? Infatuated with Rodger. Sometimes the only thing he could think about was Rodger. They were close friends, yes, but Glisten wanted to be something more to Rodger, not just a friend.
