"Tegan, what happened?"
"For two weeks now, the Doctor's been helping these people rebuild their ship; when does he sleep? He looks exhausted. Anyway, I just heard two of them laughing at how 'stupid' the Doctor is."
Nyssa was shocked. "The Doctor, stupid? That's insane!"
"Too right! Ingrates."
"Why would they say that?"
"He told them they'd get things done faster if they didn't hurry."
"That's brilliant! When you hurry, you waste so much time redoing everything, fixing errors!"
"They think they've tricked him into helping."
"I've tricked them," said the weary Doctor, "into accepting my help."
