Cosmo took the vanilla cupcakes out of the pan. They had been cooling for around 10 minutes so they should be fine. Astro grabbed a piping bag with white-yellowish frosting and Cosmo grabbed one with Red “Okay. You need to hold the bag like this, okay?” Cosmo shifted the way he was holding the bag. Astro nodded and held the bag the way Cosmo had shown him.
Cosmo piped a bit of the white frosting “now on the other half of the cupcake, do the purple.” He did. It came out a bit sloppy but it was fine. “Hm.. you need a bit more practice.. But it's fine!” He kisses Astro's cheek. They moved onto the next cupcake, doing the same thing again. Astro used a different hand of his, and it looked slightly better. Cosmo grabbed a cupcake and did a basic swirl. “Now you try love.” Astro smiled. He grabbed another cupcake and tried the swirl. It looked a bit messy but it was fine. “You’re getting better!” He kissed Astro’s cheek in encouragement as Astro re-tried. He held Astro’s bottom right hand as he watched him.

Cosmo and Astro admired their work as Cosmo put them on a fancy flower plate. The two started walking to the elevator. Cosmo got in and Astro got in and Astro pressed the button for the 5th floor. He held Cosmo's' arm as the elevator went up “so should we watch a movie? Read? We could uh, we could listen to music? We could- ” Astro smiled as Cosmo listed things they could do. He cut Cosmo off by squeezing his hand. “All of those options are lovely, dear. But I think we could listen to music. We can't watch movies unless they’re approved by handlers after all.” Cosmo's mouth makes an O shape. He sheepishly looked away and giggled. “Sorry.. I forgot..” Astro smiled reassuringly. “It’s fine. It's cute.” He squeezed Astro’s hand, looking all flustered. “Stttopp..”
The elevator door opened. Only two doors were there. Astro took out a key and walked over to the left one. Still holding Cosmo's hand. He unlocked it and walked in. The room smelt like freshly brewed tea. It had dark but dreamy colors, and pillows and blankets everywhere to make it as comfortable as possible. Making it so you could sleep ANYWHERE. A tea table near the left wall. Cosmo sat down. At it. A kettle plugged in. Cosmo placed the cupcakes on the table before starting to make a cup of tea. He sat down on the oddly comfy chairs since mains got better furniture. He watched as Astro looked at his records, before putting on one. Cosmo hummed as the music came to life. He tapped his fingers along with the music as Astro sat across from him.
“So. hows the book club?” Cosmo spoke while looking at Astro. “Oh.. It’s been lovely. Dazzle let me borrow a book, I gave one to Brightney, and Brightney gave one to Dazzle..” Cosmo rested his hand on his head. “Really? What book?” Astro smiled and stood back up. “Let me get it, darling.”
Cosmo watched as Astro walked to his bedside. His bed had a canopy over it with stars all over. He grabbed a pretty big and hefty book before walking over and sitting back down. “Here.” Cosmo took the book gently, trying not to drop it. His tail flicked as he read the title. It was a book about the history of theater. Cosmo looked at it, analyzing the cover. “Ooh! Looks cool! You’ll have to give me a summary! I doubt I’ll be able to read a book this big and give it back on time with my schedule!” Cosmo let out a dry laugh. Astro smiled at his beloved's laugh before pouring the chamomile tea and taking his book back. He quietly moved over to the small bedside table and put the book back, keeping it in perfect condition. He waltzed over to a record player. “What music would you like darling?” Astro looked at him, his eye locking onto Cosmo's face, who was grabbing a cube of sugar from a small tray on the table and putting it in his tea, he always did like sweet stuff.
“Oh! Uh.. I doubt you’ll have anything I like.” Astro raised an eyebrow. “We have love songs though." Cosmo hummed,"Not my favorite, but i like them! so thats fine." Astro smiled, putting in a record of various popular love songs he didn't(and didn't care too) know the name of. He sat down as the music went through the air. Astro took a sip of his tea, he preferred iced tea but this was also fine(totally not because they were out..) Cosmo stirred his tea before lifting it up to his mouth and sipping it, putting a hand under his mouth as a habit even though he knew he wouldn't spill it.
The two drank their tea in silence. When the record stopped and they were done with their tea Cosmo yawned. “I think imma go to bed..” Astro smiled as Cosmo stood up and faced the door. “You can stay in here tonight if you wish.” Cosmo turned back around to face Astro, “Really?” Astro nodded, a sweet smile still on his face. “Of course.” Cosmo smiled and nodded. “Well, I gotta go get my pajamas and brush my teeth. I’ll be back in a few minutes.” Astro nodded again. “Okay. but could you restart the record before you go?” Cosmo nods and walks over. He restarts it before waving bye to Astro and leaving the room.
Astro stayed at the table, listening to the music. He supposed he should get ready for bed as well, he’d hate for Cosmo to worry.
