Work Text:
Again you forgot to say thank you. You felt it; Dojjen saw you through your chaotic, guilty mind, but, once focused, you moved on, you were needed elsewhere. Thanks are important, not only to the acknowledged but to the grateful. They don't take long: arms crossed over your chest (heartfelt), bow and you've done it. Even momentary gratitude is nourishing. You weren't ungrateful, just rushed (and forgetful). Your friends didn't let you humiliate yourself by failing to humble yourself. When you found the still place and wrenched yourself from the paralyzing clutch of hatred and fear, you groaned, "Thank you!"
