She looked at the sky, fear filling her heart. What was to happen?
Would she ever see him again? She was anxious. Her mind went back to the past 5 months.
A month without him was a month in hell. She cleaned around her desk mindlessly while looking at the rings. He had taken her there before his mission. They had sworn to love each other regardless of what happened.
She was breathing heavily. What if he couldn’t make it back?
No, she said to herself. He would make it back and they would hang out together again. Her ears starting drooping.
She heard the sound of the rover in her driveway, and she came out running.
HE WAS THERE
HE REALLY WAS! HER FIRST LOVE WAS HOME!
She came out running and jumped into his arms, making him drop whatever he had held on to. He spun her around and around and they both laughed and smiled.
She was relieved. Truth be told, she had missed him more than words would ever tell. He loved her pink eyes so much. Her ears perked up and her tail wagged for the first time in months.
He put her down gently, whilst pulling something out of his pocket.
It was a small box holding a locket. It contained a picture of their family. She squealed with joy and pulled him in towards the home. “MOM! DAD! GUESS WHOSE BACK HOME?”, she yelled.
“Love don’t scream loudly. Is it Rosa? I swear, you and that girl make me grey~”, Her mother replied jokingly.
Her father asked,” is it your brother, right?”
Just like that, the whole family of a brother, sister, the sister’s lover and her parents was finally complete~
Jupiter had never seemed like a brighter planet until now.
