Taehyung groaned as he dropped his large jug of rum on the table. “Captain Kim Taehyung?”
“Aye, Captain.” Replied Hoseok, his first mate, taking a sip from his own cup. “There’s been talks of Captain Kim Taehyung searching for a crew to fill his ship.”
Taehyung sat back in his seat, picking at the wood breaking rusting off the table. “That I am. But with what ship?”
Hoseok snorted. “That is what I wondered. Thought you might have finally found the,” Hoseok looked around with his eyes narrowed, leaning in, “Black Swan.”
Taehyung took anothes large gulp of the rum, smacking the jug back down with a large thump.
Hoseok looked at him, amused, as he continued. “Guess not. Last I heard, the Swan was headed west, towards the Seven Seas. But that was many weeks ago, and there has been no talk since.”
Taehyung pulled off a large splinter of the wood, scrutinising the small piece carefully.
“Seokjin lost the Swan,” He said finally, throwing the piece behind him. “That simpering old fool. If he couldn’t safeguard my ship, why did he bother stealing it?”
Hoseok laughed, hand clapping down on the table. “Of course. But what are you planning to do about the imposter Captain Kim Taehyung?”
Taehyung looked around the inn, at the men drunk and dancing, others flirting with the barmaids. “They said Kim Taehyung was to pick his crew here in the Pirate meeting, correct?”
“Aye, captain.”
Taehyung then stood, grinning down at Hoseok. “Very well then. I shall get to picking my crew!”
Hoseok looked at him confusedly. “Captain?”
But Taehyung was already off, head swinging this way and that. He took his jug with him, his arm raised in the air as he pushed through the crowd.
He suddenly found himself pulled harshly, his jug falling out of his hands with a loud splash as was shoved into a private part of the inn. It looked to be a large storage room, from the lever and pulley systems set around the rum barrels that were connected to an opening through the wall.
He looked around for his captor, instantly retriving his sword from his hip. His eyes were narrowed as he slowly stepped around the room.
“Captain Kim Taehyung, I gather?” He called out, voice dropping with sarcasm. “What a pleasure to meet myself. Truly, a more intriguing prospect I can not imagine.”
A man, dressed exactly the same as Taehyung, appeared before him. His sword raised and face covered by a simple cloth.
The two men circled eachother, their swords stiff as they measured the others actions. Taehyung continue, amusedly. “Well, there is one more meeting that would be much more exciting.”
At those words the imposter lurched at him, sword swinging gracefully only to be met with Taehyung’s own.
Taehyung laughed, before clenching and unclenching his fists around his sword. “Shall we play, darling?”
The imposter huffed, before he swung his sword again. Taehyung parried his attack, grinning.
They continued their fight, the imposter continuing to swing as Taehyung only defended himself. There was something familiar about the other man, something that felt-
“What meeting?” Came through the gritted teeth of the imposter, who Taehyung could feel was frowning. “What other meeting would be so exciting?”
Taehyung blocked his attack, swinging around on his foot as he got behind the imposter and held the man’s wasit in one hand and had his sword raised to his throat with the other.
Taehyung used the tip of his sword to remove the cloth covering his face, and grinned as the fiery doe eyes met his.
“You, darling.” And as their eyes met, Taehyung joined their mouths together in desperate kiss, twisting the man around in his arms with a jolt and deepening the kiss almost immediately.
The man’s arms came up and around his neck as they both dropped their swords. They lost themselves in the kiss, Taehyung eagerly pushing his tongue in the other’s mouth further and further and starting another sort of battle with the imposter. One which he intended to win.
When they finally parted, Taehyung watched the man slowly let go, and try to break their embrace. Taehyung refused to let him do so, stubbornly keeping his arms locked around his waist.
“Taehyung.” The man glowered. “Let me go.”
“I could never, darling.” He grinned.
“Kim Taehyung.” The man said through gritted teeth.
“Jeon Jungkook.” Taehyung beamed, ignoring the glare.
Jungkook let out a frustrated sigh, closing his eyes for a minute to breathe and think clearly.
“If you wanted my attention, you could have simply sent a letter, love. No need to create this confusing imposter situation.”
Jungkook rubbed a hand over his face, groaning. “Please, Taehyung.”
“Taehyung?” Said man pouted. “What happened to Tae? Tae-tae? Taehyungie? Hyungie?”
“Taehyung!” Jungkook hissed. “Can you be serious, for once in your life?”
“I am dead serious, darling.” Taehyung pouted, slowly moving Jungkook back towards the wall. “Didn’t you miss me?”
“Isn’t that a question better suited for you?” Jungkook raised a brow. “You’re the one who abandoned me on Luna Island.”
Taehyung whined, placing his head on Jungkook’s shoulder. “I had to do that! You refused to listen to reason, and I could not have you risk your life trying to find the lost treasure of Berk!”
“But you can?” Jungkook argued, “You do not get to decide what I can and can not do!”
Taehyung placed a hand beside Jungkook’s head resting on the wall. “It was much too dangerous, and the King’s guards already know too much about you-“
“And you!” Jungkook cut in. “But you still went.”
“I’m craftier than you are, sweetheart.” Taehyung smirked at him. “I found myself back towards you, didn’t I?”
Jungkook snorted. “I believe it was I, who led you, to me.”
Taehyung waved his hand. “Either way.”
“There was still no reason for you to leave me on a deserted ship with no compass!”
“But I knew you would survive,” Taehyung crooned. “Now look at you, my very own little imposter.”
Jungkook rolled his eyes, arms crossing over. “No thanks to you. If it wasn’t for Mingyu, I might have died before getting back on land.”
Suddenly Taehyung straightened, his posture going rigid. “Mingyu?”
Jungkook uncrossed his arms, beginning to smirk. He pushed Taehyung slightly, taking a few steps forward. “Thats right. Mingyu helped me a lot the past two months.”
Taehyung growled lowly but Jungkook ignored him.
“I reckon he’s a better man than you. Always so worried, made sure I didn’t starve-“
“Jungkook,” Taehyung said lowly. “Watch yourself.”
“- he was very helpful too, in getting the word about my needing a crew -“
Taehyung grit his teeth, hands itching to do something.
“- and he’s just such good company. Kept me occupied on a lot of lonely nights -“
Taehyung pushed him back against the wall, mouth instantly closing his with his own. He pushed his tongue in forcefully, grip tight against his waist as one hand sneaked up over his chest and settled gently on his throat.
“I told you to watch yourself.” Taehyung murmured against his lips, eyes narrowed as he stared at him.
Jungkook just smirked. “He still bothers you, huh?”
Taehyung growled, muttering small curses as he let the man go. Jungkook smiled at his antics, brushing off his tunic and gathering his sword from the floor.
“Very well.” He said, tone clipped. “I shall see you around, Kim Taehyung.”
Taehyung grabbed his wrist and pulled him back towards the wall in an instant. “Where do you think you’re going?”
“To find myself a crew,” Jungkook smiled, “that is the purpose of a Pirate meeting.”
“With what ship?” Taehyung asked, as he nosed down the mans neck, tongue slipping out as he kissed him softly.
“The Black Swan.” Jungkook grinned, wincing as the man bit him in his ministrations. “I’m sure you’re familiar with that beauty.”
“You mean my beauty?” Taehyung said sardonically against his neck.
“Not any longer, captain.” Jungkook smirked as the man came up to look him in the eyes.
Taehyung hummed, hands inching up Jungkook’s waist and under his tunic. “It’s alright, love. What’s mine is yours. Including the Black Swan.”
Jungkook rolled his eyes. “But it’s no longer yours, Taehyung.”
“But you are.” Taehyung smirked at him, grasping the naked waist tightly. “So that makes it all even.”
“Whatever helps you sleep at night.” Jungkook grumbled.
“Oh you, darling.” Taehyung bit his neck again. “Definitely you.”
Before Jungkook could get another word in, the door to the private room was suddenly jammed open as Jimin rushed in. “Captain-“
Taehyung looked up, his arms still locked around Jungkook’s naked waist as he raised his brow first at Jimin, then Jungkook. “I should have known.”
Jungkook rolled his eyes, smacking his arm before facing his first mate. “What is it Jimin?”
Jimin, who was busy trying to look elsewhere and not at the scene that will plague his endless nightmares, cleared his throat. “The Royal guards. They’re here.”
Jungkook turned quickly towards Taehyung, glaring at him as he pushed away his hands and quickly fixed his tunic. “What did you do?”
Taehyung shrugged, grabbing his own sword. “Nothing much. Just insulted Seokjin a bit. Did you know he works for the Royal family now? Funny that…”
Taehyung looked away from Jungkook who looked ready to kill him. “You insulted the man who is single-handedly in charge of an army and is determined to kill you?”
Taehyung shrugged, grinning at Jungkook, quickly pulling him in and placing a loud kiss on his mouth before the man pushed him away.
“He lost the Swan, what was I supposed to do?”
“He lost it to me!”
“Well, how was I meant to know that?”
Jimin cleared his throat. “If you two are finished, perhaps we should make a plan of escape.”
Jungkook glowered at Taehyung one more time before walking over to Jimin. “Ready the rest. We will make a break for the ship, meet at the harbour at dawn.”
Jimin nodded firmly and left, closing the door behind him. Jungkook busily readied his attire, placing his sword back in its stronghold.
“Got room for one more, captain?” Taehyung drawled, his arms sneaking around Jungkook.
“It depends.” Jungkook continued to fix his attire. “Are you ready to help me find the Lost treasure?”
Taehyung groaned. “If I must.”
Jungkook kissed him lightly, looping his arm around his neck one more time. “Good boy. Welcome aboard, Kim Taehyung.” He played with the hair on his nape loosely.
“Just remember, I am the captain.” Taehyung nodded, smiling placatingly. Jungkook’s eyes narrowed.
“Say it, Captain Jeon.”
Taehyung smiled, leaning to rest his head on the others as they swayed side to side, ignoring the large shouts emanating from the other side of the door. “But Captain Kim has such a nice ring to it.”
“Taehyung, I am the captain-“
“I never said you aren’t.” Taehyung cut in, grinning. “But I quite like the sound of Captain Kim Jungkook, don’t you?”
To Taehyung’s great pleasure, Jungkook’s face erupted in a into a deep shade of red. “Shut up.”
Taehyung cooed at him, before letting him go and readying himself to open the door, sword raised. Jungkook stood on the other side, readying his daggers that Taehyung just now realised were secretly placed in his sleeves.
“Hey love,” Taehyung whispered, still grinning.
“What?” Jungkook whispered back.
“You still look beautiful marked by me.” He whispered, winking and immediately opening the door.
Jungkook sputtered, his hand slapping against his neck in understanding as his face turned a another remarkable shade of pink.
“Kim Taehyung!”
