It was quite the normal day for Matthias, he woke up, got dressed, and headed to school.
But unlike all days, there was a new guy in his class supposedly from what he heard from Anne in first period, and just as he said he didn't care about getting or trying to get to know the new kid in class, he very much ate his words.
The new guy, well, Florian, as he said his name was, walked in the class with a beaming toothy smile. To say the least, Matthias at first thought he looked stupid, with the toothy smile, down right to his choice of style. Aside from looking dumb, he thought that he was rather....creepy, he gave off a feeling that didn't sit right with Matthias one bit, it was odd.
As Lunch rolled around, Matthias sat with his friend, Lily, as usual. She told him that she invited her brother to sit with them this time around, which was strange cause she's never told him she has a brother and also that she never invited him to sit with them before, but he didn't question it.
That was until he saw who her brother was. It was the new guy, Florian.
"So...that's your brother?" He had said in slight disbelief, to which she replied happily...
"Yup!" She also had a big smile on her face, although not as dumb looking as her brothers...which he just sat there starring at Matthias with the same smile except it feels creepier from him. It felt as if he wanted something from him, or rather the look in the others eye felt fake.
Aside from the strange boy, the rest of lunch went smoothly, and he also had gotten to know her brother a bit, just the basics tho such as how the other wants to be a firefighter...and also other little things about him, it was nice...?
The end of the day rolled around and he couldn’t be anymore happier to finally get home and relax. Usually he'd walk home but today Lily offered him a ride...well a ride in her brothers car inwhich her brother would be the one driving, but as long as Lily was there he'd be fine, so who is he to deny the offer to reach home earlier by a car.
....
Today must hate him. As he gotten in the car, Lily wasnt there, infact he had to find out from her brother that she had a change of plans and decided to out with the sculpture girl from one of her classes, and if it wasn't awkward enough this guy played SpongeBob's intro song oh his way to Matthias's house. Seriously, what is up with this guy?!
A few minutes later as they were close to his house, he could feel the others eye glancing between him, and the road ahead...but it wasnt just any glance, he wanted something from Matthias and he didn't know what he wanted...that was until they pulled up by his drive way and right when he was about to get out the other grabbed his hand and offered to give him rides back home from now on if he wanted, strange right? But hey, at least that was an escape from walking home each time so he accepted and ignored his gut feelings.
This went in for a bit and he'd somewhat got to know the other to a considered friendship level, and sometimes even Lily came along if she wasn't doing anything those days. Although today felt, different... from the moment the he stepped in the car and greeted the other as usual, he couldn’t help but notice the other acting rather oddly, it was as if he was nervous or something, but he'd figure the other will talk about it if he wanted.
Half way through the car ride, Matthias was on his phone when he felt a hand get placed on his thigh. He would have probably taken it seriously if the paw patrol wasn't playing on the speakers of the car...still, he wouldn't deny the fact that the same feeling from when he first saw the male didnt come back once again, it wasnt as creepy though since he kind of knew the male now, but he felt sick...? Butterflies maybe? All he knew was that this gesture wasn't something he can let go like that, he knew something was most likely going change between them after this day...and whichever it'll be, he'd be lying is he said he wasn't feeling both anxiety and nervous.
The car ride was silent aside from childish songs and Florians hand remaind on top of his thigh. The ride was smooth, not a bump in the road disturbing anything thats going inside within it.
"Hey, uh...do you mind if we took a quick stop at my house? Lily had told me that she wanted to give you something"
Florian asked the other sheepishly
Although it was suspiciously enough, he knew the other was most likely lying but he let the others take him to his house anyways...
"I don't mind"
And with that they were in their way to Florians house to which he shared with Lily.
And oh boy nothing could prepare him for when they arrived. As Matthias stepped in the house Florian grabbed his hand
"Lily actually..isn't here at the moment, shes on her way here though...but! We can watch a movie or something to pass the time?"
Yeah, yeahhh..... this was going to be awkward and Matthias knew it from the way things were going, but hey, movies can always be a helpful excuse and distraction so he nodded, and Florian sat the other down onto the couch in the living room and sat next to him grabbing the remote next to the table infront of them.
"Any specific movie you want to watch" Florian asked while swipping through the options on whatever app he used to watch movies
As Matthias shooked his head no, Florian decided to put on a classic, thank god it wasn't something related to his childish songs he listened too.
....
They both sat through the movie and it was fine at first, until Matthias felt the others gaze once again, even though they were quick glances, Matthias couldn't help but fidget with his sleeve nervously from feeling watched by the other. This was new, very new to Matthias...he never sat with someone watching movies with this kind of tension, it was almost unbearable but how can he solve this?
...well, I guess he can forget about solving things cause he felt the others hand on his thigh once again, and this time he lightly squeezed it too, was it getting hot in here or what? Matthias glanced at the other hesitantly, and boy was that a mistake, he locked eyes with the other.
Time seem to slow down and everything around him became background noise. He could only focus on how he felt that same feeling in his stomach 10x worst, he oddly liked whatever that was going on between them...it was intoxicating? And whats worst was that, he didn't even bother to stop or push Florian away when he leaned in and kissed him hungrily. The worst part about it was that, Matthias kissed back with the same amount of hunger, and he let himself be pushed back on the couch by the other and Matthias continued to kiss him and cup his face in his hands while Florian caressed his waist with both hands. And god did this feel like a dream Matthias did not want to wake up from ever, the kiss, the placement of the others hand, the warmth...it was enough to get him hooked.
The kiss lasted and Florian pulled away admiring Matthias's face, though it didnt last long cause Florian kissed the other with a soft peck on the lips and trailed down kissing and nipping the others neck, as things were getting messy in the living room, Lily arrived home and man was she unfortunately got the full sight of her brother ontop of he best friend getting rather intimate...how unfortunate for the 3
Matthias wanted to feel bad for practically about to hook up with her brother, but he really didnt...in fact he did regret a slice of it, it was something new, and that new thing was something he didn't want to let go.
As the both sat away from eachother (which was requested of Lily), Matthias watched as she scolded her brother, it was very entertaining to see her scold him as he continued to apologize.
...
You'd expect that to be the last interaction both Matthias and Florian had between eachother, but man were you wrong, the next day as Florian was driving Matthias's home, Matthias decided to invite him in to study for the upcoming tests.
And there you have it, on Matthias's bed they both were making out and continuing where they left off yesterday, it was obvious that Lily's scolding didnt make Florian learn a drop, cause he still decided to go along with Matthias and take anything and everything Matthias offered him.
He must admit, he's glad that he got to know the "new kid" Anne told him about. He really knows how to turn Matthias's life upside down by simple ride...
