Work Text:
“Ah! It’s so cold!” Hinata lets out a screech, overwhelmed by the shivering breezes of winter, feeling his body slowly cooling.
“It isn’t that cold.” Kageyama with a stoic look on his face— as usual as ever, says. Kageyama was as cold as the winter and its temperature, Hinata was as bright and warm as the summer’s weather.
“Yes it is, jerk!” “No it isn’t!” “Yes it is!” “No it isn’t!” The two boys bickered on and only— it was something they did occasionally and something their teammates were used to.
Kageyama lets out a sigh. If he wasn’t that cold— then it wouldn’t be a bad idea to lend the shorter person his sweater if he actually was that cold.
The dark-haired boy stops in his tracks, the lighter-haired one also stopping to turn his head to the taller, watching him take off the sweater he was wearing.
“Kageyama? What are you doing?”
“Here,” he softly let out. “If you’re so cold then…take my sweater, I don’t need it anyways…” he muttered, his hand stretched out to the ginger with a black sweater in his hands, gesturing for him to take it.
Hinata raises a brow, his already big eyes slightly widening. “Really? Are you sure you aren’t cold?” He asks, “Shut up and take it. I’m not as cold as you so just take it!” Kageyama shouts. “Okay, fine!” Hinata accepts the offer, looking down at the sweater and taking it from Kageyama.
“Took you long enough.”
“Shut up!” Hinata talked back while quickly putting the oversized clothing on.
Kageyama was obviously larger than him, so the sweater was really baggy on him. He was a mere 164 centimeters tall while Kageyama towered over him at 181 centimeters, he weighed 15 kilograms less than the boy with the larger frame…But the sweater was soft and warm, and Hinata felt the coldness slowly drift off each second he wore Kageyama’s warm sweater.
