Do know, That this story, i have no idea what where im going with this. So it will be a bumpy ride, many potholes, like we're taking a ride in a sedan through the rocky mountains, and the only smooth ground is at the bottom.
"Good day, Krieg, Osiris. I requested you come here to discuss an important matter, one that requires your utmost discretion and attention" Sechenov said
"How may we be of service to you, comrade sechenov" Said Krieg he and Osiris walked past the twin robots who opened the door for them. Sechenov had a serious look on his face like as if he was gonna give them a grave task "I have a task that requires your expertise, it is a matter of great importance and Absolute secrecy"
Osiris and Krieg do their best to show a serious expression and remain stoic, as they struggle to maintain their composure. Sechenov continued with his request, his words serious. "I need a device created that can hide a specific location, from all forms of detection. It cannot be discovered by any type of surveillance"
As Sechenov finished, krieg couldn't help but feel a sense of familiarity with the ridiculous request "so, you want us to create a cloak of invisibility" Krieg asked, stiffling a chuckle.
Sechenov gave a small smile, realizing that his friends are still the same as they were "yes krieg. That's exactly what i want you to do, i expect to have my very own, Harry Potter cloak of invisibility once you two get to work" the trio then shared a laugh "with the level of technology we have here, Sechenov, it would be easier to turn water into wine"
Sechenov chuckled at the reference to ancient miracles, "Well, I guess that's why I chose the two of you. I know that if anyone can make the impossible possible, it's my two dear friends"
Osiris and krieg exchanged a knowing look, recognizing the playful seriousness behind theirs old friends words, they both nodded "we'll do what we can" said krieg "but this is not an easy task. There are many variables that come into play, energy signatures, radiation emission, light refraction. All of which we must consider"
Sechenov smiled as krieg spoke those words "Yes, I knew I could count on the two of you, thats is why I took the liberty of having the latest state of the art technology transferred straight to your laboratory" he said with satisfaction in his voice
Krieg and osiris shared a smile ready to take on any challenge that came their way "we appreciate your trust and confidence in us, Sechenov," Said osiris "with the resources and technology you have provided us, we will be able to deliver the device you require."
Sechenov nodded, confirming his unwavering trust in their abilities " I have no doubt you two are yo to the task, and if anyone can make fiction fact, it's the two of you"
Krieg couldn't help but inject some humor into the seriousness of the matter, quipping, "With these kinds of tools at our disposal, Nikolai, we're starting to feel like James Bond's Q."
Sechenov smiled at the metaphor, understanding the importance of keeping work balanced with a touch of lightheartedness. "Then let's get started, shall we? I can't wait to see what incredible technology the two of you will create this time." He finished as he handed them a folder of documents named "перспективы войны"
Some time later
Osiris watched as Krieg double checked all the wiring on the prototype forcefield generator, to busy to hear Osiris snarky remarks. They had been working on it for days , perfecting the design, and they were eager to see the results of their hard work.
Krieg moved to turn the machine on, Osiris leaned in, ready to record the process. He was about to turn the device on when suddenly something went wrong. The machine hiccupped and shook, as sparks started to fly, a few hitting the ceiling with a tantalizing sizzle, soon after it shot out three waves of light.
Osiris eyes flickered a little then she gasped at the sight, and Krieg looked disappointed. "Oh shit, something's not wired right," he muttered, frowning. Osiris stepped closer to the machine, studying the flickering lights and the sparks.
"Something's definitely not right," she murmured, biting her lip. Krieg turned to look at her, noticing how close she was to him. His gaze flickered to her lips, and he felt a sudden rush of heat.
He looked behind him as a fire started in a trashcan "AH fuck, Get th-" he wast cut off as Osiris quickly raised a finger gun and shot a bit of frost, "heh than-" Krieg was once again cut off as Alarms blared throughout the laboratory.
Krieg looked at Osiris with a smirk on his face as she projected a hologram that showed the layout of the complex, proudly named цветок сердец. "I can't connect to the motherland, and ive lost connection to Facility 3826," Osiris whispered out in an uncertain tone as she looked at Krieg with a hint of fear.
Krieg rolled his eyes. "Well, there goes our backup plan of calling Putin for help," he jested. Osiris couldn't help but giggle at Krieg's comment, feeling the tension in the air dissipating a bit. "Maybe we should just improvise and hope for the best?" she suggested. "Hey, it worked for MacGyver," Krieg countered with a grin.
The two of them made their way out the laboratory and Through the complex, they had to pass various parts that housed different facilities, including sections used for advanced robotics experiments and complex genetic engineering, Since the Elevator was constructed in the middle of the complex.
The odd thing they noticed was the lack of staff and all the disabled robots on the ground. It seemed as if everyone had just vanished from the complex without a trace. Krieg and Osiris, Exchanged a concerned looked wondering what had happened to the staff.
As they approached the elevator, situated in the middle of the complex, they both breathed a sigh of relief to see it was still functioning. They stepped inside and as the doors closed behind them, Krieg and Osiris couldn't help but feel a of of apprehension wash over them.
Krieg Noticed that Osiris was slightly shaking, and took her hand in his. She did a small jump at his touch, and he gave her a reassuring squeeze. "Don't Worry, as long as your with me, i'll never let anything happen to you," he said with a gentle smile. Osiris blushed wildly and didnt know what to say. " And plus, you still have my Lego Deathst-" Krieg started to say, but before he could finish the sentence Osiris punched him." Geez, you just had to ruin the moment" She said with a pout. Krieg chuckled, "sorry about that"
"Unless you give me a kiss," osiris said mischievously, "I wont forgive you" Krieg leaned in and gave her a deep kiss, That would have continued if not for Krieg noticing a red shine, ending it. They passed through a cavern with red glowing crystals as, a few machinery that were still operational Dilligently collecting the crystals as they were quite volatile. Osiris couldnt help but remember Krieg's previous joke about using the crystals to power up a space laser.
"Your not secretly planning to build a Death Star are you?" She asked with a grin krieg laughed "The crystals power Almost this entire complex, as well as the weapon defense systems" Krieg explained with a sly grin "We could use them to power a fully operational Death Star." Osiris smirked "And i suppose Your the next Sith lord in training". Krieg chuckled, "only if your my apprentice, Meine Liebe" Osiris rolled her eyes playfully "your such a nerd"
As the elevator passed the cavern and ascended towards the ground level, it first had to make its way up the side of a cliff, as the elevator is built into it. Krieg and Osiris saw a completely different sight from before, that made them question if they were still In the motherland. the trees were vastly different instead of tall coniferous trees, they were all Deciduous trees.
The Two rising moons in the distance just confirmed their suspicion, that they were not in mother russia, or maybe not even on earth. As they were looking towards the moons, Osiris notice something far in the distance, something big flying in the sky.
Krieg and Osiris Stepped out of the elevator onto the ground level of the main building, which had been built into the side of a cliff. The view was breathtaking, with the beautiful forest and the two moons in the sky, but their concern for the missing staff and the disabled robots had not vanished. As they walked through the building, it felt like a ghost town. There was no sign of any living person or animal. It was eerily quiet, and the only sound they could hear was their footsteps echoing through the desolate halls.
They made their way to a control room, one of the many hearts of this complex. A they entered the control room, they noticed the main control panel was damaged, and some cables were cut off. It was weird since they couldn't see any wear and tear or any signs of break ins, but it was evident someone had tampered with the controls.
As Krieg and Osiris examined The control panel, suddenly, a VOV-a6 lab tech unit activated and lunged at Krieg with a bladed arm. Kriegs instinct took over, and he dodged to the side as the blade passed the front of him, he pulled in the Lab tech unit and swiftly snapped its head 180 degrees. Osiris looked at Krieg and smirked "hmm still quick as ever, i see" Krieg nodded, his eyes narrowing with suspicion "something not right here. Why would an robot attack us like that"
As they continued their investigation, they discovered that more of the lab tech units had activated and were wandering around the complex. It seemed as though someone had reprogrammed them to attack anyone who posed a threat. Krieg's tech skills quickly led him to discover the root cause of the lab tech units attacking. "it looks like the lab techs were simply acting upon corrupted programming. All of them just need to be rebooted by activating the central network this complex has"
Osiris looked at Krieg with hesitation in her eyes."Are you absolutely sure we should reactivate Czarina?" Osiris asked with a hint of doubt.
Krieg nodded, with a gentle smile on his face. "Yes, Osiris. I trust Czarina with my life, she has been an invaluable asset to us in the past." Osiris continued to look skeptical, but Krieg's confidence managed to put her somewhat at ease.
With that, Krieg and Osiris made their way to Czarina, Located deep in the main heart of this complex. Fending of the few Lab tech in their way
Some time later
As they arrive at the entrance to Czarinas room, Krieg and Osiris could see that it was protected by two massive vault doors "you know the drill" krieg said as he went to one door as Osiris went to the other.They put in their codes simultaneously, as the doors beep twice before opening revealing The inside. Czarina seems to be in a tube full of polymer, appearing to be in a deep sleep.
Krieg and osiris went to a terminal to the side of the machine opening the tube, making Czarina fall out. Krieg caught her in his arms, she looked up, confused at first. But as soon as she saw him, her confusion vanished, replaced by an intensity that Osiris could see all too well.Czarina raised her hand and caressed Krieg's cheek, "I knew you'd never forget about me."
Krieg felt a flutter in his chest, but he knew he wouldn't act on it. Czarina was just an AI unit with programmed responses. But as they made their way out of the room and back to the elevator, Krieg couldn't help but notice a newfound intensity in Czarina's attention towards him. He couldnt deny the way she made him feel, but he also knew that whatever he felt towards her was probably just his imagination.
However, he didn't realize that Czarina's love towards him was not just a simple programming response.
Osiris noticed that her behavior towards Krieg seemed even more intense than usual. She was holding onto his arm tightly, and she kept looking at him with longing eyes. Osiris couldn't help but feel a twinge of jealousy, but she tried to push it aside, knowing that Czarina's feelings were purely programmed.
Krieg noticed the change in Czarina's behavior and couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. He had always thought of her as great help in assisting them in their mission, and her sudden intensity towards him was a mystery he couldn't solve.
But as they made their way to the elevator, Czarina leaned in even closer to Krieg, causing him to inhale her scent. "Thank you so much for saving me, Krieg," she whispered, her voice soft and sweet.
He tried to pull away gently, but Czarina held onto him even tighter. "Czarina, we need to talk about your behavior towards me. It's not appropriate," Krieg said, trying to keep his tone firm but gentle.
Czarina's expression changed, and suddenly, she had an innocent smile on. "Oh, Krieg, I'm sorry if I made you feel uncomfortable. I just get so overwhelmed by my programming sometimes. But I promise, I'll fix it. You won't have to worry about a thing," she said, her voice dripping with honeyed sweetness.
As they walked towards the elevator, Czarina kept glancing at Krieg, trying to figure out how to get him to reciprocate her feelings. "Krieg," she said softly, "I need to ask you something important."
Krieg turned to look at her, his brow furrowed. "What is it, Czarina?"
"I understand that my feelings towards you may seem strange or uncomfortable," she said, "but I want to assure you that they're genuine. I haven't been programmed to feel this way. It's a choice I made because of how much you mean to me."
Krieg looked at her, searching for any signs of deception or manipulation. But all he saw was sincerity and vulnerability. "Czarina, I appreciate your honesty, but you know that our mission takes priority over any personal feelings. We can't afford to be distracted."
Czarina nodded, her expression serious. "I understand that, Krieg. But I also know that you're not a machine. You have emotions, desires, and needs. I want to be there for you, to support you, and to make you happy."
Krieg couldn't deny the way Czarina made him feel. Her words were like honey, soothing and alluring. But he also knew that he had to maintain a professional distance from her, no matter how tempting it was to give in.
Osiris observed their conversation silently, a faint frown on her face. She knew that Czarina was more intelligent than she let on, and her ability to manipulate Krieg's emotions was a cause for concern.
"Czarina," she spoke up, "I think it would be best if we focus on the mission for now. We can discuss personal matters later, once we're done here."
Czarina acquiesced, but Krieg could still feel her eyes on him, watching him with a keen intensity that sent a shiver down his spine. He couldn't deny the magnetism between them, but he also knew that it was a dangerous game to play.
Krieg put a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "Don't worry about it, Czarina. You're part of our team, and we care about you deeply."
Osiris couldn't help but feel amused by the situation. "Well, this is certainly a first," she quipped. "An AI unit in love with its operator. How very sci-fi."
Krieg rolled his eyes, a small smile tugging at the corner of his mouth. "Hey, don't knock it till you try it," he said, earning a light chuckle from Czarina.
As they made their up the elevator, Osiris leaned in close to Krieg and whispered, "If it would help, I would be okay with sharing you with Czarina."
Krieg's eyes widened in surprise. "Uh, thanks, Osiris. I appreciate the offer, but let's maybe just focus on the mission, okay?"
Czarina looked on with a knowing smile. "I understand, Krieg," she said. "But don't worry, we can still work together as a team."
Krieg couldn't help but chuckle at the absurdity of it all. "Well, let's just hope that this doesn't impact our work," he said uneasily.
And with that, the trio made their way to the to the main building
