'Man, how did he always get into these situations' Ed thought as he scratched his head. He looks in the reflection of the train, seeing his new earrings.

Edward looks through the office of this Novice Priest. There has to be something in here about the Philosopher stone, or else how would he have at least a fake copy of one.
'Maybe this Novice actually has something of use here' he thought as he looked towards the bookshelf
As he pushes through the books, a small very detailed box, poorly hidden behind books. Edward rolls his eyes as he grabs the box. The box itself was in a hexagon-like shape with detailed red designs, which Ed has to admit, looks badass.
He opens the box, not truly thinking it through in all honesty. Then, all of a sudden, this glowing red light erupted from the circular earrings and circled around him. Edward immediately throws the box and gets into a defensive position as he tries to hit the glowing orb.
Then, it settles down. Once it does, it transformed into this floating red ladybug-like creature. It had big blue eyes and weird antennas.
It smiled, "Hello, my name is Tikki" It said in a sweet feminine voice. Edward is shocked.
'Is it like Truth? Is it gonna hurt anyone?' Edward begins to yell, "Alphonse!".
Tikki immediately flew infront of Ed, "No, no, Edward, I'm your friend!" She said, trying to calm him down.
Edward hesitates, "How do you know my name? Are you like Truth?" Tikki sighs.
"I'm a being similar to Truth, yes. But I'm not like them. They are a concept without form, while I'm a Kwami, I'm the Kwami of Creation. I don't take payment or exchange like they do, I'm here to help!" She explains, calming Edward, who was still skeptical.
"Why should I believe you? You said it yourself, your like Truth, which means you could be lying and playing some game or toying with me" he rambles as he tries to get his bearings.
"Edward, I need you to trust me. I'm your friend, I want to help. If you calm down I'll explain everything, but not now. Please, I want to explain" she said, as she successfully calmed him down, for now.
Edward sighed, "Well, when we leave and head back to the East, I need you to explain everything, if I'm going to trust you, red thing?" Tikki smiled.
"Thank you, and like I said, my name is Tikki, in order for me to stay by your side and for you to call upon me, you must wear the earrings"
Edward nodded. This could be the best lead he had to getting Alphonse body back if what Tikki says is true and she's like Truth.
Also, if she's like Truth, he can't argue too much.
He pierces his ears with the earrings, it stings but nit the worst pain he's felt so he's fine.
Tikki smiles, "I'll hide in your jacket, now go" she quickly hides inside his jacket. Edward is still confused but he has to take care of the priest first.

On the train ride back to East city was rough. Alphonse didn't approve of his method, but in his defense, he was already pissed off and she acted like she wasn't paying attention the whole time and jumped the gun, literally.
"Brother, do you think that maybe you could of talk to her another way? Her whole world view fell apart in less then a day, maybe you should of taken it easy?" Alphonse finally spoke first. Edward sighed as he pinched the bridge of his nose.
"Al, she needed to hear the blunt truth, she's a grown woman and if that made her world break then she's gonna need more help than prayers can offer her" he said bluntly.
Al stopped talking after that, Ed wasn't mean about it, he sounded sincere if not forward. They sat in silence for the rest of the trainride. Ed can feel Tikki hiding in his jacket.
He's going to get answers. How is there other beings like Truth? How did this thing look so different from that thing? It-no, she, said she's similar to Truth but a physical form. He's going to get answers.
Tikki said she's going to tell him everything
Edward hopes she keeps her word
