Yang Xiao Long curls her hand around your wrist, the mechanical one, as you watch her watch you. It doesn't take much effort from her to pin you to the wall, your mechanical arm clanking against it.
You feel your breath leave you as the light filters through her golden hair. You hadn't really noticed before now, but- she's a little bit taller than you. Not like it's hard to have that advantage when she's holding you down. Her lilac eyes gaze into yours, and while you do still struggle to hold eye contact- It's not as hard with Yang.
She offers a cocksure little smile, leaning in closer until you can smell her hair. She smells like campfire smoke...
“Hey- uh- May I?“ Yang asks, tilting her head to the side. ”I- I wouldn't wanna make you uncomfortable or anything- so... If this is too much...“ Her voice and smile falter, her eyes flitting off to the side. The grip on your wrist slackens. Your eyes widen and you immediately shake your head.
You’re surprised when she lets you move your arm down off the wall… And your shock compounds when you comprehend how easy it was. Your robotic arm moves to cup her cheek, thumbing her soft skin. Of course, you can’t feel it… but it’s the thought that counts.
”No, Yang, you-” You draw in a breath. ”You could never do anything to make me uncomfortable.“ She steps back, refusing to meet your eyes. ”I- I've been waiting for you to do this for a long time.“
”Bbuuuuutt...“ You draw out the word, searching for your next thought as Yang tries to avoid your gaze. ”Just because I've been wanting this, doesn't mean you have to force yourself to do this.“
“I'm not gonna force you to do anything, okay, Yang?” You take a deep breath, and exhale, turning her attention back to you. Your metallic arm helps out, turning her cheek towards yourself. “I'd let you know if you did anything wrong, okay?”
Yang nods, once slowly, and then again. You smile, your own confidence bolstered by the fact that you helped Yang Xiao Long out of a spiral. Then, as you’ve come to know it, her thinking face appears. Gears turning behind her eyes, followed by a devious little glint.
“... Hey.” It is now that you realize her hand is still wrapped around your wrist, and she's starting to smile again. “Who said you could turn this around on me?” Yang smirks as she presses your arm into the wall, towering over you again.
“Aaaah-haha!” You nervously chuckle, feeling your metallic arm clatter into the wall behind you again. You can feel yourself smiling, a quiver to your lip. Heat rising in your cheeks. It's- It's finally happening. Your breathing betrays you, shaking. “Uhm-”
“That's right, good girl. ”
You can feel your brain crash and then restart with an electric jolt dancing its merry way down your spinal column, causing your entire body to shiver back into existence. The way she said that, whatever breath you still had left gave up the ghost and packed up its bags. The heat across your face has multiplied tenfold.
“Woah, [Y/N], you good, girlie?” Her voice full of concern now, clearly worried she’d done something wrong.
But oh, no, you're so good. You nod so fast your head starts to spin. You lean forward, pursing your lips together. Yang lets out a short laugh, curling her other hand through your hair. You feel her bury her digits deep in your hair, gently pulling it. You start to breathe again, waiting desperately for the kiss that's so agonizingly far away. She leans in again, tilting her head to the side with that trademark smile. You meet her lips halfway there, tilting your head to match hers.
Your free hand winds its way down her waist, curling around behind it and pulling her closer. The brawler gasps, blinking a few times as she steps in. Your chests press together, your lips meshing together in a beautiful blur. You lose yourself in the bliss of it all, the way the colors flash over your vision. Darkness mixed with every single arc of the rainbow all spasming across your mind.
There's only one word you can think of to describe how it feels pressing your lips together, and that word is heavenly . Just right . After a breathless few moments stretched like taffy into eons of pure bliss, you two pull apart. Yang lets out a low whistle, and you take in your first breath of fresh air in a while.
She staggers a little, as if she was drunk, letting go of your mechanical arm. You drop it to your side, letting her run her other hand through your hair.
“Have- have you kissed anybody before, [Y/N]?”
“No...” You sheepishly admit. “Uhm- Was I-... good?”
“No.” Okay, ouch . “But because it was you, I'll- find the time to teach you.” Yang laughs and gives a light punch to your clunky metallic arm. You find yourself laughing along with her, and when it dies down, you ask her.
“Can we do that again? I wanna- get practicing right away.”
“Sure thing, good girl. ”
“G-Goddamnit.”
