This was originally 1 giant one-shot. But for reasons, I have decided to make it chapters. This way I can add in between adventures if I want…And my writing isn’t good enough for people to read almost 15000 words.

Notes:

This is a remaster of an idea of mine. It had a good concept but I couldn’t get a great chapter until maybe the last. So I expanded the other chapters, added Tsu and some other scenes.

Chapter 1: Entering a new world

Chapter Text

One moment, Izuku was walking down the street for his last training with All Might. The next, he’s hit by a car and ends up in a field.

It’s an isekai; you shouldn’t ask questions.

Anyhow, the field was nice. It was filled with soft grass and beautiful flowers, their petals swaying gently in the cool breeze. Occasionally, a bunny darted through the grass, startling Izuku with its sudden movements. In the distance, a towering castle rose from the horizon, its spires shimmering like gold under the sun.

“I should have probably read up on that All Might isekai one-shot,” the greenette muttered to himself. “Now I’ll never know how to get back to the real world.” He sighed, staring at the impossibly blue sky. He continued to think about his next steps. Defeat a demon lord, rescue a princess, become the demon lord, become the princess. The possibilities were endless.

But as he thought, a teenager who looked eerily like Bakugou had to ruin the moment by shoving a sword under his nose. “Who are you?!” The Bakugou lookalike growled. At the same time, the blond’s lackeys, who were all women, began throwing ropes around Izuku’s arms, legs, and neck. “You look like a Deku! What with those clothes?!” The blond roared, gesturing sharply to Izuku’s modern-day attire.

“Um…I’m Izuku,” Izuku corrected him, only for the sharp end of Bakugou’s sword to press closer. “Where are you from?!”

“…If I said I’m from a different dimension, would you believe me?” Izuku asked awkwardly.

“…By tomorrow, I will have your head mounted on my tent’s wall.”

It didn’t take long for Izuku to be thrown into a cage. Much to his surprise, he wasn’t alone. A girl with brown hair, a cloak, and a pink pointy hat sat in the corner of the cage. She was tied up, much like Izuku, and had a red-gem staff strapped to her back.“Um, hello.” Seeing another prisoner, Izuku figured he might as well introduce himself.

“…Who are you?” the mage asked, her sad eyes studying him.

“I’m Izuku Midoriya…I think I’m from another universe or something,” the greenette confessed. The girl’s lips curled into a puzzled frown. “Another universe? That’s weird. How did you even get here?”

“…I’m going to be honest, I thought you might have summoned me.’

Ochako shook her head firmly. “Nope. I was practicing spells, but I didn’t summon anyone! I don’t even know how to summon a person”

“But…you’re a witch,” Izuku argued, looking between her and her staff. “I woke up in the middle of this field, and then this Bakugou-lookalike captured me. Isn’t this your doing?”

“Hey!” Ochako snapped defensively. “First of all, I don’t summon random strangers. That’s rude. Second, I was here before you even showed up. This is your fault for getting caught!” The witch shot back, right before apologizing for her harshness. Izuku meanwhile forgave her before glancing up at the cage, noticing the top was held together by rope.

“I think I found a way out. Can you use magic to hit the top of the cage?”

“Sorry, I can't touch my staff in this position.”

“Then get ready. And don't scream.”Izuku bent down, hoisting Ochako onto his back so her staff collided with the rope above. After a few sharp nudges, the ropes snapped. And just like that, Izuku and Ochako were free….Which Bakugou quickly noticed.

“Dammit! The captives are escaping!” Bakugou’s voice rang out. “Go after them!”

“I didn’t think this part through,” Izuku mumbled as the two of them tried to hop away. When it became clear they wouldn’t make it far, Izuku made a split-second decision. “Come and get me, Kacchan!” Izuku shouted, drawing attention away from Ochako, allowing her to escape at the cost of his freedom.

Once she was safe, Ochako managed to untie herself, but guilt weighed on her. “That green-haired boy…Izuku. He sacrificed himself for me.” She clenched her fists, determination burning in her chest. “I won’t let him die.” With that thought, Ochako ran back to the barbarian camp. “I'M HERE TO SAVE YOU, IZUKU!!!!” She screamed before blindly blasting magic spells around, turning Bakugou’s lackeys into various animals. Chickens, ducks, geese, until only Bakugou was left. As for Izuku, he was tied to a stick and was rotating him above a fire. Apparently Bakugou’s group were cannibals. “Let him go, you….I actually don’t know your name.”

“How do you not know me?!” Clearly, it struck a nerve with Bakugou.

“Well do you know my name?”

“Fat face!” Bakugou immediately yelled, resulting in an unamused Ochako. “Chubby cheeks? No, Hamster witch bitch.”

“….Dnalsi esuruelp.” Ochako just said one of her spells. But instead of becoming a bird, Bakugou suddenly had donkey ears.

“What the hell was that?!” But clearly, the blond hadn’t noticed his ears. That was, until his pants dropped. Apparently, his new tail cut through the cloth. “What did you do to me, you bi-HEEHAW!”

“I turned you into a donkey. Because you were an ass.” Ochako said matter of factly before turning to Izuku. “Get it?”

“Ochako, can you please put out the fire?” The greenette asked as obviously, Ochako did just that. And when Bakugou tried to stop her, he suddenly fell over, forced on all fours.

“Make it stop, witch! Make it HEEHAW-sto-HEEHAW!”

“Should we help him?”

“Izuku, he tried to kill and or eat you.” Ochako said dryly while untying the greenette. And by the time she was done, Katsuki’s face had turned into a muzzle, his hands and feet into hooves and all his yelling, roaring and cursing into braying.

Never before had Izuku been weirded out before, while also finding it a bit funny. What can he say? Years if bullying, a suicide bait, an attempted murder and an attempted cannibalism changes your opinion on a guy.

“Well, that was certainly an adventure. Thanks for saving me by the way.” Ochako said, like she hasn’t just taken away twenty-five people’s humanity. But again, maybe this was a regular occurrence in this world.

“I-I should be the one thanking you. If not for you, I would be in their stomach.” Izuku apologized while bowing. But then, Ochako spoke up again. “I couldn’t let you die, especially when you saved my life, even if you didn’t know me. So again, thank you.” She now also started bowing, resulting in them headbutting each other before both laughing.

But after laughing for a bit, the duo had to think about what to do now.

“Not to sound ungrateful, but is there a way for me to return to my own world?” Izuku asked.

“Oh, I have no idea how to send you back,” Ochako admitted with a bright smile. “But there’s probably something in the Royal Library about it.”

“And where’s that?”

“All the way over there!” She pointed at the distant mountain with the tiny castle. “But it costs a fortune to get in.”

Izuku looked from the castle to the transformed animals and then back to Ochako. “What if we sell eggs along the way to pay the fee?” He asked as Ochako’s eyes lit up. “That’s brilliant! Plus, I like money.” With a flick of her staff, she turned an apple into a wooden coach. “It’s my grandmama’s signature spell.”

They rounded up the animals and  tied Bakugou to the front of the coach. And so, their journey began. A boy from another world, a mischievous witch, and a cart full of magical livestock on a quest to the Royal Library.

It didn’t take long for the next obstacle to appear. As right before Izuku and Ochako could reach the first town on their way, one near a swamp no less, they had to go through a forest. And in that forest, there was an assassin. A shadowy figure darted toward them, daggers gleaming in her hands. The assassin had blonde hair tied into buns, her smile unhinged and her eyes locked on Izuku.

“Who’s that?!” Ochako asked, preparing her staff.

“I’m Himiko, the greatest assassin alive. And my employer wants him dead!” Himiko yelled as she pointed at Izuku, right before Ochako fired spell after spell, barely keeping Himiko at bay. As for the assassin, she easily got the staff out of Ochako’s hands before pouncing on her.

But then, a beam of light struck Himiko. When the smoke cleared, a small yellow cat stood where the assassin once was.

“…Did you just turn her into a cat?” Ochako asked, baffled as Izuku stood there shaking with the staff in his hands.

“I…guess I did.” The greenette mumbled as his witchy friend picked up the confused feline. “Are you alright?”

“Sure am…So should we keep her?” The brunette asked as she held up the hissing kitty.

And just like that, they had another pet.
