Disownment

Summary:

Sirius got tricked into going home for his things.

Work Text:

Sirius opened the door to Grimmauld Place. “Reggie said that our parents are out, and it was clear to get my stuff.”

“Sirius, I don’t know about this,” James replied as he walked into the place. “Let’s just get the stuff quickly.”

“Good idea. James.” Bellatrix cackled.

“Petrificus Totalus!” Two voices yelled out, catching both James and Sirius off guard.

Regulus and Bellatrix flicked their wands and moved them into the drawing-room, where the family tree was located. Bellatrix propped James up on the wall so he could watch.

“Sorry, big brother, Mother told me to lure you here for your official disownment party.” Regulus looked pained at him.

“Release the spell, Regulus,” Walburga snarled.

“Yes, Mother.” Regulus sighed. “Finite Incantatem,”

Sirius closed his eyes because he should have realised what they were planning. “Hello, Mother.”

“Don’t hello Mother me, child!” Walburga flicked her wand.

Sirius screamed as she crucioed him. “PLEASE!”

“NO! YOU ARE NO SON OF MINE!” Walburga screeched.

Sirius panted when she stopped.

“Regulus Black II, do your duty as the NEW Black Scion,” Walburga commanded.

“Yes, Mother.” Regulus took a deep breath. “I, Regulus Black II, hereby disown Sirius Orion Black from the Black Family.” He turned around and pointed his wand at the tree. “Incendio!”

Sirius screamed as he felt the magic hit his picture. His face grew bright red as his picture burned. He felt his hair start smoking. “Please, no. Stop!”

Regulus then shouted, “AGUAMENTI!” The water shot out of his wand and doused the wall, thus putting out the fire. He spun around and maximised the spell, soaking Sirius himself.

“KREACHER!” Walburga yelled.

“Yes, Mistress!” Kreacher bowed.

“STUPEFY!” Bellatrix knocked out Sirius.

“Thank you, Bellatrix, for your assistance. You may go home and let the rest of the family know if they haven’t seen it yet on the tree.”

“It was my pleasure, Aunt Walburga.” Bellatrix popped out.

“Now, Kreacher. I want you to take both that scum on the floor plus that one over there and take them to Knockturn Alley. Strip Sirius of his clothes but leave his wand. Just leave Potter be.”

“Yes, Mistress.” Kreacher bowed.

“One other thing, release the spells on them before you leave,” Walburga commanded.

“Yes, Mistress.” Kreacher magically moved James over to Sirius. Once he was within reach, he transported them both to Knockturn Alley and followed his Mistress’s instructions. He snapped his fingers to remove Sirius’s clothes and left his wand under his body. “So long, outcast.”

Kreacher disappeared to report to his Mistress the public humiliation that her disowned was receiving.
