KAITO, Gakupo & Yuuma were having a sleepover. It was becoming routine for them to spend the night at each other's houses every weekend, and it was getting to the point where they knew every detail about each other's houses
But for some reason, KAITO felt insecure about the topic of friendship. Maybe he was afraid that they would abandon him and he wanted to be friends with them forever, even if they didn't talk like they used to, even if they broke up, if they managed to see each other at least once a year, that would be enough for KAITO.
After a long night of pillow fights, weird movies that were so boring it was hilarious, abnormal food they made in the kitchen, and their favorite food they ate happily, they finally decided to go to sleep. It was already midnight, but KAITO kept thinking about something. Nothing good lasts forever. He knew that one day they would break up, and the mere thought of it made KAITO miserable. They had been friends since high school and now they would soon go to college, he knew they would go to different colleges and this would possibly cause them to break up.
"Hey, are you awake?" KAITO whispers to his friends turning his head to the left to see Yuuma and then to the right to see Gakupo
"Now I am..." Yuuma says tiredly as he just woke up (maybe because he just woke up), his eyes still closed and a frown on his pale face.
"Need somethin' KAITO?" Gakupo asks calmly and tiredly as well but with eyes open staring at the blue-haired male. Sky blue eyes meet ocean blue ones. "You seem worried, is there something on your mind?"
Gakupo was always able to sense what others were feeling. It was as if people were open books to him, and he could always tell when something was wrong with them. One of the many reasons he was a perfect friend. He had a keen eye
With Gakupo's statement, Yuuma also looked at KAITO, even with that frown on his face, KAITO could see that he was worried, his eyes were the door to his soul. Yuuma didn't like to show his 'sensitive side' because he thought it was pathetic. They already had a talk about it and how it was normal to be sensitive sometimes, it ended with Yuuma forgetting everything they talked about and throwing the conversation out. But it was OK
KAITO just looks at the ceiling without daring to look at his friends, it would be embarrassing to say this while looking into their eyes. KAITO slowly sits up causing Gakupo's eyes to widen a little and Yuuma's eyebrows to rise
"It's...just..." KAITO tried to think of what to say next, to formulate the sentence in his head, to say it out loud. "It's okay, take your time." Gakupo said calmly, making KAITO relax with his soothing voice, while Yuuma just looked at him with soft eyes, offering support with a glance.
"Do you think we're Soulmates in every universe?"
Gakupo and Yuuma looked shocked at this sentence to say the least, both looking at each other, "You mean in a romantic way...?" Yuuma asks awkwardly, looking at KAITO's back. "What!? No!" KAITO turns around and finally looks at his friends "I mean platonically as friends, of course..."
"Why do you ask this out of the blue? Of course, we would be friends in any universe." Gakupo rejoices, sitting up and placing a comforting hand on KAITO's shoulder.
"What? What do you mean? There must be a universe where we are not friends," Yuuma also says, standing up, even though the friends can clearly see that he hopes this theory is true.
"We are friends in every universe, KAITO, I can confirm that." Gakupo gently stroked KAITO's hair with the same hand that was on his shoulder.
"Yea yea, now let's sleep. I'm tired." Yuuma angrily pushes himself below the blankets and quickly moves to sleep. Slowly KAITO and Gakupo also slept

KAITO had trouble expressing his emotions
But it was okay, he expressed all his happiness, sadness and anger with music
Not to mention his friends who also take a liking to music and are always there to help him
They often do duets and cover songs together. KAITO on the guitar, Gakupo on the keyboards, Yuuma on the bass
They always managed to have fun while doing it
Not to mention that they often went to the roof of the school at night to look at the starry sky. It was always beautiful, and every time it looked like the first time.
KAITO loves to spend time with his friends.

Leading an idol group is not easy.
KAITO often spends too much time working and forgets to eat and sleep.
But that's okay because his friends are always there to help. They're idols too, and they do their jobs beautifully.
When his friends notice that KAITO is overworking himself, they make sure to get him food and make him rest, because they are going to 'take command!'
KAITO liked this, he liked to think that he was being cared for. That might be selfish, but it's okay to be selfish sometimes, right?

His life is pretty simple, working at MEIKO's cafe is a cool experience.
He also worked with one of his friends: Gakupo, a nice guy who loved jokes and cats.
And they both had another friend in common, Yuuma, a cool guy to say the least.
When he didn't have a date with MEIKO, he would always wait for Gakupo and Yuuma to walk on the streets with them.
He wouldn't change anything in his life.

Being the troop leader can be very hard sometimes. Especially for someone like KAITO.
Sometimes Miku wouldn't stop talking, Rin and Len would start fighting with stuffed animals, Luka would sleep in the most random places.
Sigh... It was exhausting...
But there were always his friends who didn't mind helping KAITO with any of these problems.
They were both samurais and they wore really old Japanese clothes.
Gakupo used to tell stories to distract the Kagamines from the fight with the stuffed animals, and one day he told them a story about an evil princess and her evil servant. The Kagamines enjoyed it, but the Plushies were upset.
Yuuma would stop Miku from talking too much by saying "KAITO is busy" or "KAITO is tired", and he would also help carry Luka to a bench near the Ferris wheel to prevent her from sleeping on the stage, above the tent, in the cotton candy machine, and more.
KAITO was happy to have great friends.

KAITO didn't like noise.
Anything that was too loud irritated him, made him angry.
But there were people who were quiet enough.
Gakupo and Yuuma were so quiet, KAITO couldn't even hear them breathe. It was as if they weren't real at all.
And something made him like their presence.
It was soothing and most importantly...silent.
KAITO enjoyed the silence and he enjoyed his companions.

KAITO slept with a smile on his face, his worries from before gone. He knows that he can't change the future, he can't change the fact that he and his friends will part some day. But he can at least enjoy their presence as much as he wants, because if he doesn't, they will eventually disappear. So he will enjoy every moment with his friends.
