Work Text:

Stars glisten in the sky as the moon glows upon the new fallen snow, the crackling of the dimming fire brightens the room. Scar is sat alone, as he usually is in this empty world tending to Trader Scars —which notably has not gain any business since... that day. The silence is interrupted with a knock, though stunned at first Scar knew it was only one of the shadows they taunt him with, the shadow whispers from behind the door, “Let us in" it's speech broken but utterly haunting. The things had been a more frequent item in his schedule, though unplanned not entirely unpleasant scar has grown more fond of them, especially the shadows that resembled his friends who had long passed.
The first passing of the figures had been after he gave up on pressing the damned button —just the thought of it made his blood boil— he was wandering the server reminiscing of past friendships and rivalries then there it was standing there by the campfire in the Gem n' the Scotts area. He ran, ran all the way back to trader scars. Scar thought he was actually going insane, hallucinating, mad even. The shadows taught him things about past games, as they left books and notes for him. He enjoyed the feeling of the memories rushing back to him; Scar especially liked the memories of Third Life.
