Crocodile's wide, generous mouth was distracting. Unavoidable to notice the way he constantly sucked on those cigars, wreathing the rest of his face in smoke.
Galdino worried that his boss would think that he was staring at his scar, but maybe that would be less embarrassing than him knowing that he was staring transfixed at his curling lips and the way he occasionally dragged his tongue over his teeth like an unsatisfied predator.
He had had that mouth on him before, biting and sucking and invading. Restlessly, he considered asking Crocodile to put the damned cigar down for a minute.

The one remaining hand was as powerful and imposing as the great golden hook. Galdino was forced to acknowledge that as Crocodile put it against his face.
Fat jeweled rings adorned almost every finger twinkling in the light. The gold and gems conveyed a menace of elegant violence even as they trailed tenderly over his cheek.
His breath caught as Crocodile grabbed his chin between his sun-warmed and sand-roughened thumb and forefinger, tugging Galdino's gaze upward.
"Look at me when I'm talking to you, Galdino."
"You're making it very difficult!"
Crocodile just chuckled and stroked his knuckles over his jaw.
