Siegfried was always apologizing for some little thing or another, but this time it was Georgios’ turn. He pulls the taller Servant down to his level with a tug of the arm, unable to keep his sinful feelings at bay any longer.
“Sorry,” he whispers, as much to the Heavenly Father as to Siegfried himself, as he steals a kiss from the man he so deeply admired and respected, the man he secretly longed to touch even though they were both men, the man he secretly longed to be with even though he knew he had a wife, the man he secretly loved in spite of everything.
