"Baby I'm sorry for making you worried"
Mingyu pulls Wonwoo closer to him. His hand tightens around his husband's waist.
"I thought I'm gonna lose you" Wonwoo says as tears fall from his beautiful eyes.
Mingyu immediately engulfs his husband in his strong arms.
"Shh it's fine, don't cry please my love", the alpha's hand is caressing the omega's back soothingly as he places a soft kiss on Wonwoo's head.
"Y-you were out for 5 days Mingyu. C-can you imagine how I felt when the ambulance came and you were on the stretcher, full of blood, unconscious. My heart stopped Mingyu I swear it stopped. I was so scared", Wonwoo says while clutching on his dear husband. Mingyu just continues to rub the omega's back in an attempt to sooth his distressed husband and releases his calming pheromones. Wonwoo buries his face on Mingyu's neck, still crying. Mingyu's heart constricts as he listens to his husband sobbing.
"I-i thought you really gonna leave me and our pup alone", Wonwoo continues after a while and Mingyu hugs the omega tighter.
"I'm not baby I'm not going anywhere and I'm not going to leave you and our pup ever. My love, I am so sorry for making you worried and stressed like this"
Mingyu moves Wonwoo softly and carefully cups the omega's face that is red from crying.
"I'm sorry, I love you so much Jeon Wonwoo"
Mingyu wipes the tears and leans to kiss his husband's lips.
"Do you forgive me love?" Mingyu asks, his hands still holding unto Wonwoo's face. The omega is not crying anymore but a cute pout decorated his face.
"Yeah, I'm sorry too for being dramatic", the omega replies.
"I mean I know what I signed up for when I started dating you, mate you and marry you. You're a detective and your work comes with risks. It's just that sometimes I feel scared that bad things will happen to you. The idea of you leaving me is so scary. I never want to experience this again", Wonwoo continues.
"Love don't say that. You are not dramatic", Mingyu holds Wonwoo's face and their eyes meet.
"Listen to me. Your feelings are valid, love. I would behave like you too if my beloved husband got involved in accident and went into comma. Scratch that, I'd act even worse than you", Mingyu grabs the omega's hands and squeeze them softly.
"So don't say that you are dramatic. I know how scary it is but now you don't have to worry because I'm here aren't I? I'm here with you and I'm fine. I will always come back to you, to our family. My love, I would never leave you. I promised that I'll stay with you, love you and raise our pups together didn't I? So no, I'm not going to leave you. I'll be here with you, to take care of you, to protect you and love you forever".
Mingyu finishes and Wonwoo's lips tremble as he tries not to cry again.
"I love you Kim Mingyu", the omega chokes and hugs Mingyu tightly.
"Thank you for fighting and thank you for coming back to me, to us", he continues.
"I love you more Jeon Wonwoo. Please know that there's no heart for me like yours and in this world there's no love for me like yours. You're my one and only", Mingyu says earnestly and places a soft kiss on Wonwoo's lips.
The omega laughs a little and hits Mingyu on his chest playfully.
"My husband is such a sweet talker. You said that everytime Min", Wonwoo giggles.
"And I mean it everytime", Mingyu replies, grabbing the omega's left hand to place a kiss on their wedding band.
"Thank you Mingyu for loving me and please know that my love for you is also as deep as the ocean", the omega replies and Mingyu chuckles.
Both of them hugs each other lovingly, enjoying the warmness as beautiful smiles adorning their faces. When they breaks apart, Wonwoo immediately directs both of Mingyu's hands towards his swollen belly.
"Bunbun misses you too by the way. It's like he knew that his appa is sick", Wonwoo says again. Mingyu grins and caresses his husband's swollen belly lovingly.
"My pup" he says and feels a soft kick under his palm. Mingyu laughs softly.
"See, he misses you", Wonwoo smiles and rubs the spot where the pup previously kicked.
"Our Kim Myeong, hi pup this is appa", Mingyu starts and caresses Wonwoo's bump in circular motion.
"It's been a while, huh? Did you miss me? Appa misses you so much Myeongie", the alpha coos when he feels movements under his palms again.
"I think bunbun is happy to hear his appa", Wonwoo giggles and Mingyu smiles at the sight of his smiling husband. Mingyu then leans down to rest his cheek on Wonwoo's swollen belly.
"Myeongie our bunbun, appa is very sorry for making you and your papa worried. Appa is here now and appa won't leave you both", Mingyu says and he places a few kisses on the baby bump. Mingyu gets up from the position and cups his husband's face again.
"Gosh, how stupid of me to not ask about you", Mingyu grumbles as he inspects his husband's face. It is evident that Wonwoo's lose weight and the dark circles under his eyes are proofs that the omega is not getting enough sleep. Mingyu feels his heart broken at the sight.
"My love, I'm so sorry because of me you lost weight and you don't get enough sleep. You must've been so distressed and scared, aren't you? But I hope nothing bad happened to you while I was in comma. I-if something bad happened to you or to our pup, I wouldn't forgive myself", Mingyu says regretfully and bows his head in shame. Wonwoo smiles at his husband before bringing the alpha's face closer to him. The omega leans in to kiss the alpha's lips, a sign of assurance.
"Min, please don't blame yourself. It is accident and no one can predict it. Yes, I lost weight, didn't get enough sleep and distressed but everything is fine. I went to the doctor and nothing bad happened to me or our pup. While you were in comma, abeoji, eomma and appa always kept on touch. Jeonghan hyung, Seungcheol hyung and Dokyeom also took care of me. Don't worry okay, I'm fine", Wonwoo explains and rubs the alpha's cheeks softly.
"Thank God", the alpha replies as he leans into the omega's touches.
"I already told my father and your parents about your condition. They're planning to come here tomorrow", Wonwoo continues and Mingyu hums in acknowledgement.

A week later ~
"Based on the chart, you're recovering well Mr. Kim. Your healing process is going smoothly and everything is good. So good news, you can be discharged in 2 days", the doctor in charged explains and Mingyu grins happily when he heard the news.
"That's great to hear! Thank you Dr!"
"No problem Mr. Kim. If there's nothing else that you want to ask, then I'll take my leave now. I have another patient to attend to", the doctor says as he gives the chart to the nurse behind him.
"Okay if you I'll excu-"
"Kiss me?"
"Mr. KIM?!"
Nurse Choi giggles before saying "Dr. Jeon, I'll take my leave first okay. I'll wait for you at room 158 and conduct the test first. Take your time Dr. Jeon". Nurse Choi smiles knowingly at the doctor and the patient before she leaves the room.
Meanwhile, Mingyu smiles in victory.
"Dr. Jeon, my kiss please" The alpha puckers his lips.
"Kim Mingyu you're unbelievable", Dr. Jeon aka the patient's husband grumbles but there's a small smile on that pretty face. He walks closer towards Mingyu's bed, opting to sit beside the alpha.
"What can I do? Your kisses heal me my love. You said it yourself that my healing process is going smoothly. I'd say it's because of your love and kisses", Mingyu says and winks playfully. Wonwoo snorts at his husband's childishness.
"You're a sap"
"Hmm you love me being a sap", Mingyu continues to tease his husband.
"Excuse me, I don't!", Wonwoo replies sassily causing Mingyu to laugh.
"Yea keep on laughing and I'm just gonna leave you without KISSES"
The omega threatens, and Mingyu quickly reaches and pulls his husband's body closer. His hands gently hold the omega's face.
"Nope, I need my kisses. I'm sorry baby, I was just teasing you because you look so adorable", Mingyu says and places a deep kiss on Wonwoo's lips.
Wonwoo smiles into the kisses and wraps his hands around Mingyu's neck. They kiss each other with passion and love, savouring each other's taste. After almost losing their breath, they detach their lips slowly and hold their gazes.
"I love you Won"
"I love you too Min"
Wonwoo smiles before leaning to kiss Mingyu's lips again. When they both break the kiss, fits of giggles ring inside the room.
"We better stop, I need to work. Nurse Choi is waiting for me and you keep on distracting me Kim Mingyu. This is very unprofessional of me", Wonwoo huffs cutely and gets up from the bed.
"Well, I'd rather kiss you all day my love", Mingyu winks seductively and Wonwoo groans.
"Don't tempt me and mind you Mr. Kim, this is a hospital"
Mingyu laughs out loud this time.
"Seriously, I need to go now okay. I'll see you later after I finish my shift. If you need anything you know what to do right?"
"Yes doctor!", Mingyu answers enthusiastically and fakes a salute to his husband.
"Silly alpha, I'm going now. For real", Wonwoo turns around to leave but Mingyu pulls his hand, successfully caging the omega.
"Min!" Wonwoo whines.
"Shhh" Mingyu lifts Wonwoo's dress shirt and places a few kisses on his baby bump.
"Bunbun, don't give papa a hard time today okay. Be good to papa and appa will reward you with more kisses tonight.
"Appa really can't wait too meet you, can't you just come out now", the alpha whines, his lips is still on Wonwoo's baby bump.
"Ya Kim Mingyu, watch what you're saying!", Wonwoo hisses at his husband and the latter just laugh.
"Let our bunbun grow inside my tummy peacefully, he'll meet us in 4 months. Don't ask him to come out now", Wonwoo says and pinches Mingyu's side playfully.
"Ouch ouch!", Mingyu yelps and Wonwoo's eyes widen in realization that his husband is still a patient.
"Oh my god Mingyu I'm sorry. Does it hurt? Well, it's your fault for talking nonsense. Serves you right", the omega grumbles and glares cutely at Mingyu.
Mingyu laughs out loud and pinches his husband's cheek. "You're so cute my love, how am I so lucky"
"Sweet talker", Wonwoo rolls his eyes while Mingyu is still pinching the omega's cheeks.
"Oww stop pinching my cheeks", the omega swats his husband's hand and rubs his cheek. Mingyu then leans over to kiss his husband's cheeks.
"There, I kissed them so it will not hurt anymore" Mingyu smiles at Wonwoo who's still glaring at him but soon bursts into a fit of laughter.
"You're ridiculous Kim Mingyu"
"But you love me"
"Yeah I do"
"I'll leave now okay. Rest well Min", Wonwoo continues and turns to leave the room but Mingyu grabs his hand, again.
"Kim Mingyu please, I'm trying to work here", Wonwoo whines at his alpha. Mingyu just smiles sheepishly.
"What is it this time?", the omega asks the alpha.
"That"
"That? What's that suppose to mean? Be specific"
"Scenting you and bunbun. My alpha inside me is dying to do it", Mingyu grins at his husband and Wonwoo sighs in annoyance but there's no real annoyance in it.
"Okay but be quick", the omega says in surrender as he sits beside his alpha on the bed. The alpha cheers and buries his face on the column of Wonwoo's neck, scenting the gland there.
Truthfully, Wonwoo loves being scented by his alpha. He feels warm, loved and protected wearing his alpha's scent.
Since Wonwoo asked Mingyu to be quick, after about a minute, the alpha then proceeds to scent the baby bump. He leans down towards the baby bump, lifting the dress shirt and begins scenting. Wonwoo smiles softly, feeling his heart blooms with happiness as he feels their pup moving inside him. Bunbun also loves it when his appa is scenting him.
After Mingyu finished scenting the baby bump, he pats Wonwoo's hips and says "Okay you can leave now"
Wonwoo just shakes his head and turns to leave.
"Don't work too hard my love. Have a nice day today! I'll see you later. Fighting!" Mingyu says on the bed while waving his hands.
"Bye Dr.Jeon, thank you!"
Wonwoo laughs at his husband's silliness and waves back at the alpha. He can't wait to finish his work today and be with Mingyu again.
