Alderkit was dreaming. He knew it once he saw the starry cats.
Ummm….
“Alderkit.” 2 starry cats closed in on him.
“Hello?” He asked, slightly confused. He had never seen these cats before but they looked like StarClan?
But why would StarClan visit hi-
“You don't know us do you?” A dark tortoiseshell-and-white she-cat with amber eyes asked.
“N-”
“Oh, knock it off kid. I don't care if you know me, so listen up to this message and we'll be on our way!” A dark gray she-cat with orange eyes and a flat face replied.
The tortoiseshell turned towards her. “Yellowfang! He’s only a kit and you're scaring the fur off him!”
“Oh, just a kit.” Yellowfang said sarcastically.” He’s already 6 moons; his apprentice ceremony will probably be today. You were poking around in the medicine den before your ceremony, Spottedleaf!”
“Wait my apprentic-”
Yellowfang turned to him, “ Don't speak when your elders are speaking, kit!” She takes a deep breath, slightly calming down “ What are they teaching cats these days? You know, back in my day, I-”
“Yellowfang! Stop getting distracted! We have a reason to be here!” Spottedleaf said.
“Oh yeah..” Yellowfang turns to him again before yowling “FIRESTAR! Get over here you big ‘ol lump!”
…
“I don't wanna..” a whiny voice echoed. “Spottedleaf said the pal could become an apprentice before I have to say it.”
Sighing, Yellowfang said “Get over here still and say hi to you grandson, you irresponsible elder.”
Yawning, a bright flame-colored tabby tom with emerald-green eyes muttered “You didn't tell me to say hi to Leafpool’s kits…” he grumbles.
“You were alive then.” said Spottedleaf sweetly.
Yellowfang gruffly adds, “You thought they were Squrrielflight’s kits.”
Firestar pouts. “It's not my fault that Crowfeather fell for Leafpool and she was too nice to reject him.”
“You mean Leafpool and Crowfeather BOTH fell for each other.” snapped Yellowfang. “Stop denying it.”
Firestar growls “That pile of crow food, wait till he gets into StarClan. I'll shred him!!”
“And get sent to the Dark Forest, hanging out with cats that want to kill you.”
“It's not my fault I'm so popular!”
(The bickering continues: Spottedleaf and Alderkit glance at each other #Mutual_understanding)

Alderkit frowns. The cats start to disappear and reappear. Yellowfang and Firestar continued fighting even when this was happening.
Spottedleaf’s eyes widened before saying amidst the chaos. “Alderkit, we haven’t got much time. Know that the path ahead of you will be diffi…” Her voice disorients and the fighting cats disappear along with her.
Alderkit stares into the darkness. What just happened?

Sparkkit was literally bouncing with excitement. So much so that Squrrielflight threatened to ask Bramblestar to postpone her apprentice ceremony because of the repeated thumping that echoed throughout their house. She had circled- no boxed, circled, starred and drew tiny arrows pointing at today’s date. And in big red letters she wrote “APPRENTICE CEREMONY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
Alderkit said she was being extra. He’s a mouse brain to not think that this day is like SUPER IMPORTANT!
Well he isn't the sharpest claw in the paw. ⋆
Sparkkit had already gotten dressed, ate breakfast, and groomed herself. So there was only one thing left to do: WAKE ALDERKIT UP!!!
