We open on a pair of purple velvet curtains, with the words ‘Sierra’s Star Spotlight’ written in front of them, bold and gold. The curtain lifts to reveal the purple set. Sierra sits on a small purple loveseat, hair a dark brown, wearing a floaty pink jumpsuit with bell bottom cuffs. She turns to the camera and begins speaking animatedly.
“Hello, star-seekers, and welcome back to Spotlight! Now, as many of you know, I first came to fame debuting on Total Drama.” She stifles a grimace at the memories. “You may also know that it is the 15 year anniversary of its cancellation!” She beams, and sitcom clapping is heard from the speakers. “Chris McLean is celebrating by roping more teenagers into inescapable contracts, but over here, I had the idea to make a special of my own.” She leans back, crossing one of her legs over the other and resting her clasped hands in her lap. “I was considered a ‘villain’ for stalking Cody, which was understandable, but the thing that viewers know now, that they didn’t before, was that Total Drama was completely scripted.” She shrugs “Most reality TV is partially scripted, but this was ‘learning lines at 5am’ type scripted. So I wondered, what would happen if I got all the other ‘villains’ together and interviewed them about their time on Total Drama. She does jazz hands. So don’t change the channel, because this marks the start of Spotlight’s five-hour special! She smiles widely, and the curtain goes down, and commercials roll.
