A dog and a cat will never get along.
mine barks and bites, one meows and purrs.
one is seen as terror and fear, the other is seen as soft and sweet.
what happens if they do fall in love?
what happens if they share stolen kisses in the midnight, silently expressing their sweet love so innocently and pure, how could that ever be bad?
”you shouldn’t love me,” the dog says.
”I bark and bite, the world looks at me with disgust and hate.”
”but I do love you.” The cat, teary-eyed, says as he takes the dogs hand in his.
”why? How could you?”
”I love you because you bark and bite. I love you because you are feared. I love you because you complete my puzzle.”
one last kiss, and they go to bed. The next morning will come, and they will be hidden again.
”good morning Uraraka! How did you sleep?”
cats belong with cats. That’s how it always been.
“It was okay. I might go out with Toga later.”
but when others aren’t looking, cats are sneaky, and they love dogs who may be down on their luck.
they cry in the day, they love in the night.
“I want to marry him. I want to prove that it doesn’t matter our differences.”
“then marry him. Who cares about what people think?”
”I do. What if he gets scared and leaves?”
”dogs are far to loyal to do that.”
and for years to come, they stay alive. They stay alive with the bareness of the world hitting them slowly.
until someone got tired of it.
a wedding was held on the beach. Two men in suits, not looked down upon for that but looked down upon for
