After a long walk, the girl with green haired brought the blonde boy to her resting place. The girl lit up the campfire as the boy sat near it. After the campfire had successfully lit, the girl sat right next to him, hoping for a lively chat with her newly made friend. Unfortunately, it became another way around.

“………..”
“…………….”
“….uuuh, Collei? Collei..right?…How long have you been in this place..?”
Freminet broke the silence as he feels that the silence was too loud.
Meanwhile, Collei expression changed to somewhat confusing with an excited grin when he started talking and asking her. However, Collei was very clueless about the question she was given but still answered it anyway.
“Ooh-…you mean this temple? This temple is basically where I live! I have lived here for about 3-4 years? I think-…It is also kinda rare seeing someone from another nation visiting here. I was thrilled when I heard that the Aaru Village is hosting a tour around the desert. Sadly tho, my home is not listed in one of the tourist attractions, until I met..you!- “
Collei stopped as she realised that she had already answered the question he asked before but still kept on talking about herself. When she’s about to apologise to him (of course cause of her yapping), Freminet suddenly responds.
“Really?…Good to know…”
He exclaimed without facing the other face. His deep blue eyes are only looking towards the warm campfire. There’s something about the campfire that reminds Freminet of his interest, the ocean. The cackling sound from the campfire make him feels so fuzzy that he had to reminds himself to not get near towards the hot campfire. Just like the ocean, the deeper you go, more beautiful creatures and scenery you’ll encounter, but that doesn’t change the fact that there will be more dangerous and harmful beings hidden within the depths of the ocean.
On the contrary, Collei saw Freminet eyes were gazing towards the campfire. The sparks from the fire reflected from Freminet deep blue eyes that reminds Collei of the shiny stars from the night sky. Freminet eyes were so beautiful that has caused Collei’s eyes to locked in.
“….”
“His eyes…is so..lovely…”
“…..”
“……huh?…Did you just said something?..”
His face immediately turned towards Collei. He was in disbelief of what he had heard earlier. Collei was also shocked of the words that came out of her mouth. “Is it too loud?? Oh no- what is he gonna think about me?? He’s gonna think that I’m a freak for staring at him for too long and I literally said his eyes were pretty?? I thought that I was talking to myself?? Oh Archon! Why did I said it out loud??”. She thought to herself while making sure that her mouth was covered with both of her hands. “Wait a minute...why am I covering my mouth?? It’s gonna make me so obvious that I’m the one who said it!!”. She thought to herself again.
While Collei was panicking, Freminet saw Collei’s uncoordinated movements that made him think that he’s in the wrong. Freminet also felt so guilty for making her uncomfortable around him.
“Collei….Collei! It’s ok! I’ve-.. It just been so long that I had people compliment something about me. Especially a person that I just knew..Sorry for making you uncomfortable..”
Freminet exclaimed as he bow from the sit for a sincere apology. Collei can only respond with an uneasy face cause the girl is the one who said such things earlier that only affected him to apologised.
When the blonde boy was done apologising, something was heard falling from the ground out from his pocket. Freminet immediately snatched it from the ground hoping that the girl didn’t see. Unlike what he thinks, Collei is like a wild cat wandering through the woods. Her curiosity will eventually took control of her. Her violet eyes had already took a peek on what was hidden in his pocket and she had doubts on why is he was hiding it from her.
Then, Collei had an idea. The girl immediately got up and went to her camp, leaving the blonde boy alone with the cackling campfire. The blonde boy however, didn’t question a word and just assumed that Collei were just uninterested with him.
*Thump*
A sudden softness was felt by Freminet cheeks.
“Ta daa! Look at this plushie I made!”
Collei said with excitement and gave him the plushie. Freminet was speechless with the plushie that he was given. Freminet then observed closely the plushie and was amazed on how soft the fabric is. He’s even more amazed on how she stitches the small and petite plushie.
“Collei… May I know..its name?”
Freminet tilts his head towards Collei with sparkles in his eyes. He is like a little kid who can’t wait for his present to be unwrap. Collei on the other hand, was surprised on how Freminet reacted but still answered the question nonetheless.
“Sure! His name is Cuilein-Anbar. I know that his name is pretty weird but I liked it. It really reminds me of someone I have met before.”
“It’s nice.. His name is like a combination of yours and the ‘someone’ that you just mentioned. I also really like on how you sewed this plushie.”
Freminet smiled as he brushed gently the cute little plushie. That expression of his makes Collei so happy of what she did. Not to mention, the fact that Freminet just pointed out the details, make Collei felt proud of herself. While Collei was in cloud nine, a tinkering was then heard from the blonde boy direction.
“Collei.. I’ve like you to meet..Pers. I think that he would be great friends with Cuilein- Anbar.”
Collei eyes were widened over the fact that she is seeing a toy penguin with tiny little feet is coming towards her. She was in disbelief on how the toy worked.
“Did you..made it yourself?”
“Yes…I just-”
“HOW? I’ve never seen this kind of mechanism before! And the…-?”
“Penguin.”
“Penguin!-were programmed just like, well maybe, a real penguin!!”
To that boy surprise, she had made himself to chuckled a little. And it also made Collei to laughed. Them both had eventually became birds of a feather who flocks together. The both of them can’t even handled the positive atmosphere that had been created….
