Harley loved the quiet hours of the morning. When sunlight was just barely filtering through the curtains, and the animals and insects outside were still sleeping. Not because she was a morning person though. In fact, before now she had generally disliked mornings, finding it difficult to force her body out of bed to face the day.
Now though.... now she had something to look forward to when she woke up. The beautiful girl across from her. Her roommate. Her best friend. Her lover.
Most mornings Jackie was already long awake before her, sitting up and scrolling on her phone. Sometimes though, she was lucky enough to be the first to open her eyes, and she was treated to the sight of Jackie still asleep across from her, completely relaxed.
It felt like she was falling in love with her again every time. She reached out a hand to gently caress her girlfriend's face, the expression on her face so peaceful. Jackie had a bit of a resting bitch face, but when she slept, it melted away.
She was always gorgeous, but in moments like these, she held a different kind of beauty. Harley loved it. Harley loved her. With a smile, she closed her eyes again, and went back to sleep again.
